A non tech faced owl would be great too, i love the current one but I wish they were more available. Of course right now it isn't available at all and wont be till the later part of the year on one map- and well to be blunt it probably wont make the deadline, so i imagine it wont be till next year. Having a smol owl on your shoulder would be cool too, maybe it can defend you against dismounts in some way or warn you of them.

I think the issue is that people don't want their base to be c4ed over night.

Please tell me you are not going to make the Phoenix tek tier exclusive? I can;t think of anything else that is fire resistant. If this is the case im going to be just as disappointed as i was when you said it couldn't be ridden, because that hasn't changed in that case.

Im extremely disapointed that the Phoenix isn't a mount. I was so sure that it would be. I was looking forward to this for so long and hoping that it would exist. It doesn't make sense, how are you going to be able to control it then? If its a shoulder mount, i doubt smelting metal is going to be very effective, if its not a shoulder mount or a mount then its going to be some awkward creature that you will have to set to follow which always ends in disaster.
