Oh of COURSE it's delayed. Should have known given this company's reputation. I was one of the few people who wasn't upset at all and just really looked forward to ASA. Now I agree with the reputation this company has given itself.

Seems like they'd earn more money keeping it up? I mean most people don't even play Official? Yeah, I know. Just a major loss for those who play Official servers...

I also believe that ASA is going to actually add a lot of improvements. Plus, moving forward, even if they don't add much at release, they'll surely add lots to the game beyond that? (I may just be optimistic) I do think they should keep at least one or two servers up for ASE though. Removing all of them seems a bit extreme, if ASE will still get them money. Though, what do I know about maintaining servers? 🤷‍♂️

I am one of those people who are happy about ASA/ARK2 and I've seen that indeed more people who hate it will voice their opinions than those who are excited

Uhhhh sure, if you count two or three years as "new" to ARK (however that's only ever been e playing The Island on repeat since until now I've never managed to Ascend). I may not have read a lot of the forums, but I am plenty aware of information on ARK itself. I've read every single official post thing from the developers on here. /nm

After The Island, is Genesis: Part 1 next, or Scorched Earth? Genesis: part 1 is the second map listed, but I heard that Genesis: Part 2 is the story's conclusion?? I've also heard that Extinction was the conclusion, so I'm really confused...

I never said it was an actual form of cheating, just my personal preference.

I'm playing each map without transfers because it feels more "real" to me. Transfers just kind of feel like cheating.

I now have about fifteen dolphins killing fish in the ocean, and also personally went out and killed some fish myself. My tribemate managed to find a singular spino since I did this, so I think it's working? These spinos seem a bit unreasonably rare though...

Got twelve toxins by a combo of killing (by accident) and taming! Didn't even need to breed them! Thanks!

I've been killing all the fish and going to the entire area where they spawn, and no luck. I've gone around at least three times. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if the game's just glitching.

How would I go about taming them? Especially to specifically get females.

What's a good way for a solo player to efficiently get Megalania Toxin on The Island without transports? (I am familiar with both Dododex and the ARK Official Community Wiki, have watched a few videos, and read as much as I could find)
