  1. Ran into this issue lat night and still having some smaller problems. But got a tip from another owner and worked for me. Apperntly they removed the command for Rawsockets, but when they did this they activated that feature. And how i solved it was skipping a port so i had 7777 / 7778 / 7779 and he told me to change it to 7777 / 7779 / 7781. server just stopped working and got the connection timed out error but restart fixed that. Hope this help and apperntly this has been going on for over 1 week with not even a notice from WC.
  2. Fixed that too now. Had been trying different cluster setups like activating and de-activating cluster directory override. And giving it a separate folder name, went back to standard and now it working.
  3. 311.78 - 06/11/2020 Disabled bRawSockets as they no longer function with the new game networking code That is when they removed the command but still seems to have turned on the function for everyone as standard. Would explain why some servers still functioned and some like mine stopped cause i stacked my ports.
  4. Could be its conflicting with another program or something. id recommend grouping the server within a closer range maybe it will help.
  5. Yes you were right. Seems we can now transfer between the server but are still having some other issues.
  6. After talking to another server owner he recommended that you skip a port cause they removed the command but not the function. So all my servers were 7777 / 7778 / 7779 ive now moved em to 7777 / 7779 / 7781 and i can now atleast transfer with out the timeout command. Still having some issues but could be from tinkering to much.
  7. Testing that now. Get back as soon as ive tried it.
  8. Ive looked into the patch notes and saw this. 7 days ago when this issue started for some people they changed the net code. And 5 days after that they re-implemented "load balancing" to ark servers maybe these are at fault. v311.99 - 06/16/2020 Re-implemented Multihome server functionality 311.78 - 06/11/2020 Disabled bRawSockets as they no longer function with the new game networking code

  10. Ive run several servers before this one and none has ever given me that issue. And ive done both only DMZ and only port forwarding and as a last ditch attempt thinking it might be something wrong with my router i did both still same issue. Ive read several post claiming that removing Rawsocket fixed their issues but mine isn't even enabled. And the fact that you can join every server u have on your local LAN makes it even more strange since we can only join 1. Ive submitted a bug report and maybe if more people do they will put some focus on this issue. Also read that the host Havoc.com was having issues maybe WC will take this more seriously when they start costing companies money.
  11. Currently i am running 3 server from my own connection. I have a seperate machine that has both been in DMZ and with port forwarding, still all 3 servers gives me this error. i can only connect via my LAN to the server that starts first after that i get Timeout error and even when i transfer between the servers ingame. Other players from outside my network seem to have no issues. Ive read that several players have the same issues and seems related with changes that happend recently when crossplay was introduced. Anyone else having this issue and a potential fix not workaround. One workaround i have heard is that you can use a VPN to mask your IP for me to be able to connect.

  13. From running some of europes most popular servers, below servers like MTS and Salty bay. My experience and looking at Unreal Engine 4 forums the servers run all calculations through one single core and thats why single core performance is key to lagfree server. Ram and Hardrives come second to single core performance but M.2 disks are best, have either raided or 2 seperate 1 for actual server and 1 for backups. And Ram i usually calculate 4+ gig per server/70 players it also depends on settings and such. One thing ive learnt is to check your power scheme on your machine usually its set to balanced instead of high performance and that can have a big impact on your server performance.
