This a special post it has three separate dossiers of three giraffids ancestors. Common Name : Xiezhi Species Name : Discokeryx Xiezhi Time : Early Miocene Temperament : Aggressive Wild This solitary thick-headed herbivore is often seen fighting other members of its species. This Equess sized Giraffe is one of the strongest small herbivores on the island capable of taking out a full grown Carno with ease while also being fast enough to run away if need be. But it rarely ever runs away from a fight similar to the island's Pachy. Common Name : Prolibytherium Species Name : Prolibytherium Ultima Time : Middle Miocene Temperament : Passive/Skittish Wild Common Name : Sivatherium Species Name : Sivatherium Giganteum Time : Late Miocene Temperament : Passive Wild

Another one of my strange animal suggestions.

Common Name : Outesi Species Name : Marcoeuphractus Outesi Diet : Carnivore/Scavenger Temperament : Opportunistic Wild Among the islands solitary predators is Marcoeuphractus Outesi, is most commonly seen chasing down smaller prey or stealing the already killed prey of the islands many large theropods. The only way it is capable of doing this is because its thick hide and hard shell, but don't let that shell fool you this armadillo is by far one of the fastest carnivores on the island rivaling even the Allo in speed and overtaking the Rex in stamina. This solitary creature is passive toward the survivors of the island and can be approached by anyone as long as they do not rial it up to much. Unfortunately when approached by any carnivore larger than itself it will instantly attack. The only only way to calm a riled up Outesi is to bring its health below 25% this will cause it to curl into a ball similar to the Doedicurus. Tamed The only way to tame this creature is to find one of the young and either cuddle it or feed it the food it desires. After this creature is either fed or cuddled you will need to back off as the mother will come to defend its child. if the mother catches you near her pup the baby will become scared of you and the mother will proceed to try and kill you. After you have successfully tamed one they do not require a saddle to be ridden. Although I would suggest a saddle be made for it as this creature's tuff bony exterior "shell" is extraordinarily uncomfortable. My favorite Ark mobile Mammal is probably the Chalicotherium because of its knockback and stone throw once tamed it also gathers berries like a beast has high health and melee good stam and speed it is just an all around powerhouse.

Thylacosmilus is a solitary creature it would be a mix between a Thylacoleo and a Sabertooth it would be a swift swimmer and a powerful hunter it would have a high health pool and a high melee stat it would be able to climb large trees and rocks it will also be able to jump very large amounts it will not take fall damage it will also have a pouch similar to a Procoptodon it will be able to put small animals in this pouch similar to the procoptodon it would be found in warmer regions commonly hunting wild dodos it would be passive towards survivors as long as it is not threatened it would be tamed like an equus You feed it then hop onto its back but it would instead of letting you ride, it will drop to the ground when this happens you must give it a new item called a "crude doll" this new item will look like a miniature dodo the Thylacosmilus will start to play with the toy by swatting at it after a while of swatting at it it will get up and you will be in control you will have to take it around and kill small wild/tamed dinos after it kills a certain amount it will be tamed. this creature will not need a saddle to be ridden similar to the Dire Wolf and Andrewsarchus but at level 53 a saddle can be made for it this saddle will be similar to an Argy saddle and will be a smithy saddle it will also give all dodos and dodo related creature a fear debuff which will give them a 75% damage debuff and a 90% damage intake buff after killing a dodo or dodo related creature it will gain a "chicken lover" buff it will gain a 50% damage buff and a 75% damage stopping buff it will also give allied dodos and dodo related creatures a "defended" buff they will gain a 50% damage buff and a 75% damage stopping buff

It would mostly be found in the Redwoods running from all types of predators but thanks to it long legs and small size would be able to out run most (if not all) the Island's predators. Mainly feeding on small bugs and animals it is a knockout tame with slow dropping torpor. to tame it you simply put its prefered food (Raw meat/Prime meat) or its prefered kibble (basic kibble). After taming this creature has an amazing ability it can mimic other creatures scaring foes. your survivor will be able to control what animal it mimics so as to send messages to enemy tribes or to other tribe mates.
