Gigantoraptor far outsizes its smaller oviraptor cousin, standing nearly as tall as a rex but much more nimble. Airy feathers coat their body, helping both release and trap heat. They live among the sandy deserts plains, large enough to give any other creature a run for a money. Gigantoraptors are ominvores, eating anything they can find in the desert. Their main weapons are their strong legs, able to deliver devastating kicks. Their sharp beak also gives them an strong bite force that allows them to crack bone, while their sharp claws provide deep wounds. Gigantoraptors are excellent travel mounts, able to leap across wide canyons and run for a long while. They are able to gather sap and thatch from trees with their claws, and cactus sap with their beaks. One of their abilities is a call that nullifies status effects such as poison, fire, webbed, ect. This allows them to be good support creatures to being into boss battle. Gigantoraptors have a unique taming method. In order to tame them, you must find a wild Gigantoraptor with a nest. You can either choose to kill the Gigantoraptor and steal an egg, or you can approach the Gigantoraptor while under the effect of cactus broth in order to start a mini game. In this mini-game, you need to defend the nest from attackers alongside the parent. This mini-game is short, only a single wave, but strong creatures the higher level the nest is. Once the mini-game is complete, the egg will hatch and you will get bonus levels (taming effectiveness) depending on the nests health.
