  1. With the workshop in ASE I could store interesting mods in my favorites, mods I might one time need or want to add to my game and was an easy way to check out some mods if they made nice combos for ingame gameplay purpose without them disappearing into the big mod pile. Help us be able to sort mods easier by implementing a favorite list in the ingame mod subsection please.
  2. Chaining water reservoirs still messes with the amount of items you can make in the cooker. So instead of droping your cooker full with items, put kibble creation on 1000 and walk away, you have to stand there, make 10, wait for water to fill up, make 10 again, eetc, etc. I take it they haven't hadded water wells to regular ark because base placement strategies, so have to choose: base with water and less other stuff or base with water harder to get, but closer to good mats. As for electricity, I totally agree with range extending pylons or something same-ish.
  3. While most of the qol changes are working well, getting rid of plumbing and cables is not. Just give me back my option to run my whole base and if needed the whole Island on one generator please and me not needing to build my cooker close to a river to have unlimited water supplies instead of 10 items I can craft at a time. Thanks for the attention.
  4. Wildcard, we need an update on private servers. A huge number of your community that have been with you up until now have been hosting private servers for their community/friends and now are ignored by you. Please stop the silence and give us all the details. I have always defended and supported you. I really don't want to stop that.
  5. On the topic of server running, anyone got tabs on an ASM (Ark Server Manager) repacement?
  6. I run an ARK server through the ARK Server Manager software, but the developers of that software have announced they stop development of the ASE version and won't be creating a version for ASA. Since running a server for my friends is kind of a big thing concerning ASA, I was wondering if there might be information about a replacement software I could use to run an ASA server on. I understand there ain't even that much information on ASA's launch, what excatly comes with it and what's up with official servers, let alone information on how Survivors will be able to run their own server. Just wanted to throw this out there in advance Stay epic all!
  7. ...please lead with that you need our financial support for things like ASA to keep the development of your ARK saga going. This instead of suddenly dropping a price on previously claimed "free contend" and on top of that following up with some suspicious price changes. Price wise the second itteration will cost us more. But that is not the point of this post. The thing is, ARK is by far my most cost effective game.I got around 5.5k hours in the game and I have never played another game for so long without subscription ever, by far. It is also the game with the best story and ambience ever, it has really grabbed by heart and imagination like no game ever had before or probably will have. I bought my own server just so I could enjoy the whole story line properly with my friends. I would love to support you, Wildcard, in your time of need, to help you stay afloat and keep the ARK content coming where I can. So please, next time don't lead with "We want you to pay for content you already paid for, but upscaled", but with "for the future of ARK and Wildcard, we ask for your support and give you ARK as you have never experienced before in return". I hate moneygrubbin', but I love supporting and giving back to those that treated me well and that you did, Wildcard, with letting me experience the best story ever in a very interactive way. And I will stay with you whereever you take the ARK story as long as you stay honest and true to your community.
  8. You know there are mods that put babies and eggs in the wild, right? And mods that bring plenty of customisation. Why not support those mods instead of this crappy attempt to get more money through selling you the same content while fronting with a glorified graphics upgrade. Forcing the people they CAN have influence on onto their "new" updated servers should tell you enough. Other devs keep servers to their classic games open even if nobody is playing on them. WC has people playing on their servers, but put up a big middlefinger to them anyways. Nobody asked for a UE5 update. WC just could put all their UE5 learning efforts into ARK2 while keeping ASE servers running. There was zero need for the poop that is happening atm.
  9. So instead of 50 for ASA and 2, plus 40 for the dlc (90 in total), we now pay 60 for ASA complete and 60 for ARK 2 (120 in total). Yes, it is speculative, ofc. But you guys do not think now that ASE is so popular, and new tripple A's come out at a 70euro pricepoint, ARK 2 will be lower than 60 euro, right? We have to pay 60 euro for what is essentially a visual upgrade to what we already have, including extras as cross server, paid mods, wild eggs and extra character customisation, most of which could have been added to the old game essentially. Even if ARK2 would be 30 at launch for some crazy reason, we still pay the same now as for the old deal.
  10. First: Ark ASA and Ark 2 @ 50euro, dlc at 40 euro = 90 euro for complete ASA + ARK 2. Now: 60 euro for complete ASA + 60 euro for ARK 2 = 120 for the same content. Who are you trying to fool, WC and Snail?
