  1. Panagrolaimus kolymaenis is based off of a real life worm that was revived from permafrost recently. The idea is for it to do a similar thing and survive to present day earth. Kolymaenis is the most useless creature on the entirety of the ark. The whole purpose is for it to be this stupid creature that requires a lot of care and attention, but doesn't provide anything useful in return. Kolymaenis would require a very specific taming method. You would need to feed it an exquisitely cooked multi-course meal in order to advance taming to the next step. This would require specific recipes in order to tame, as kolymaenis is a picky eater. It cannot eat any raw foods, as it will kill it due to food poisoning (this also includes berries and veggies, as it can hurt its tummy). It also cannot eat spoiled food, nameless venom, or any other specific drop from creatures. It will, however eat every cooking recipe except battle tartare (yes, that includes shadow steak) and random rare resources such as black pearls, element, raw element ore, rocks, giant bee honey, wyvern talons, rock drake feathers, and corruption nodes (which are all exempt from the previous creature drop rule). It will also sometimes ask for artifacts and boss heads. It will eat multiple of these at a time (except artifacts). This process can sometimes result in a stomach ache, which will reduce taming effectiveness and drop the taming bar to zero. Taming can only be completed in a gillie suit. If the worm sees you, then you will lose taming effectiveness, and and the taming bar will reset. If you or any other creature moves over top of the kolymaenis, it will immediately die and you will not be able to gather any resources. The game will start playing sad music, and you will not be able to stop the music unless you stop the game. It has one of the lowest spawn rates in the game, and is very difficult to find. It will only spawn at the very edge of extinction. Kolymaenis will always have one health, one weight, one stamina, and 1% melee, no matter how many times you level it up. Kolymaenis is the only creature in the game that allows for movement mutations, and leveling up movement does apply speed to it. There is no purpose to this though, as it will only increase its likelihood of being stepped on. Once tamed, it will require constant maintenance, and if you do not feed it and take it out on walks every time it asks, it will die either of starvation or boredom. If you do not feed it what it wants, you will instantly die with no explanation, and when you respawn all your stuff will be missing and the worm will be gone. It also adds the worm-shrine, which is only unlocked as an engram after having tamed a kolymaenis. You may worship there to level up the shrine. The more you worship, the more levels it gains. After a certain number of levels, you reach milestones, which effect your stats negatively until you reach the max level, which will revert you to worm form. Thank you and please vote team worm for nothing to be added to the game!
  2. Anomalocaris: Anomalocaris would be Scaled up in size to be rideable. Anomalocaris is perfect for Aberration! One of the oddest creatures of all time for the constantly rewarding and interesting map! Aberration has a lot of water that is dominated mostly by crabs and fish, why not add something new? Anomalocaris would be capable of traversing the land and sea, and could be found resting on shores. While on land, anomalocaris’ movement speed would be GREATLY reduced. It would wove at a crawl. However, in the water, it would move at incredible speeds, and be able to shift between surface and submerged. It would be able to crush armour in its jaws to grind back the resources at a rate slightly worse than an industrial grinder. When tamed, you would be able to ride it with a saddle that would make its abilities similar to that of a submarine! It would gain a torpedo crafting recipe made in its saddle, and would fire them from two cannons underneath its ‘fins’. There would be an option for multiple different torpedoes: Torpedo: the torpedo would act as a normal way of dealing damage for the anomalocaris, and would travel at a moderate speed. Lightweight torpedo: the torpedo would do less damage, but travel at a much faster rate. Nuclear torpedo: powered by element ore, the torpedo would be able to do MASSIVE damage to all those attacked. While submerged, it would be able to act like an oxygen tank that is replenished through breaking the surface of the water. Anomalocaris would have a generator powered by either gasoline or element ore. When powered by gasoline, the anomalocaris would travel at a faster speed, and be able to fire torpedoes. When powered by element ore, the engine would create a wide area of effect that would deal radiation damage and increase mutation rate to all creatures in its vicinity. Additionally, the anomalocaris would receive an ability to put the engine in overdrive and deal much more radiation damage to all creatures in its vicinity. This would come at the cost of rapid element ore depletion. If an anomalocaris is put in liquid element, it would instantly replenish all element reserves. (this is mostly a joke, but it would be really funny if they did it) The anomalocaris also has a trashing bite, meaning if you were to hold down bit on the anomalocaris, you would be able to trash the creature and deal more damage over time.
  3. Deinocheirus was a large herbivorous dinosaur. Right now, ark does not contain a lot of large herbivorous powerhouse. This still fulfills the role of a powerhouse that the community craves. (just pls let a herbivore win) Deinocheirus will be skilled at finding unique seeds amongst vegetation. These seeds will range in capabilities from decorative, to defense driven plants (something similar to plant species x+y). Deinocheirus is notable in that it is a very skilled rex-sized fighter that can chop enemies to bits. It's behavior will be similar to that of a therizino, wandering around and killing anything that gets too close. The difference being that it will take long naps during the night to calm itself. Deinocheirus will eat pretty much anything from veggies to berries, and from thatch to fiber. Eating fiber and thatch would NOT immediately fill it up, but they would heal more over time, fill it up more over time, and increase the rate of feces produced as well as change it from medium to large. Dossier: Wild: Deinocheirus bestinterfectorem Deinocheirus is a mountain of a beast! I've only seen a few which were laden with saddle bags, bringing back bundles of seeds! Much like an Iguanodon, Deinocheirus has a certain affinity for them, seeming keen to eat them, or to have a new generation planted! Other than its more friendly looking exterior (they're soooo cute!), and their love of vegetation, Deinocheirus is highly aggressive! I've seen survivors racked with grief from seeing friends being mauled by these beasts! And it's not just survivors either... Domesticated: Deinocheirus can be a great ally to those who can knock one out and befriend it! I've seen older Deinocheirus take on a full sized rex! The power of an angry herbivore should not be underestimated. Abilities: Deinocheirus would have a couple of simple melee attacks: a light swing, a heavy swing and a bite. The dinosaur would be less influenced by the different types of attacks it can do, and moreso by what it ate last. Fiber and thatch would make it hit harder. Berries would give a small speed boost to movement (30 seconds of really fast movement). Veggies would increase attack and movement speed. seeds of any type would cause it to gain some temporary armor. Veggie cake would cause it to gain all other benefits. Stimulant would cause a frenzy, switching the heavy attack to a high dps with wide area of effect. Other ideas: It would be cool if the saddle looked like a modern day camels saddle, with lots of bags and carpets: The color scheme could be similar to that of a heron, but with that big duck bill it has: Spawn would be in the swamp of the damned, the northern swamp, swamp, the dark waters and sw tropics.
