To be fair, I enjoy ark mobile and it is free thanks to a in game store and hopefully the revamped version keeps the same free to play model. It should be noted however that the game was designed around the store from the beginning and is on mobile where it has been normalized if not expected. Disclaimer: Support for official servers is over, but the in game store is still open

when entertaining a online server you should keep a eye out for servers with rollbacks meaning they will revert to whenever the servers last saved. Most pve or pvx servers will have either the tame limit full or the build limit full. If you do not find one with both open you will need to decide which is more important to you. Personally I prefer an open build cap so I can keep my gear and tames safe inside. Remember to try out several servers before deciding on the right one for you. The best way I found to get a good server is to simply look at the global chat. That gives you an idea what the population speaks so you know how easy it will be for you to communicate. It also tells you the personality of the server. I play Angler Bay (PVE-Medium-NA) perhaps I could make you some starter gear if you are interested and let me know soon enough.

Ark has many players that don’t share a language playing on the same server. Currently to understand what they say you have to copy text from the chat log. Then open a separate app to translate. This leaves a long pause in pve and for pvp it can leave you open for attack. A tap to translate feature in game would help players communicate seamlessly without needing to translate their responses or replies.

Yes a certain cheat can empty containers. You can try making it harder for them in several ways. First is building a box lifted off the ground that is enclosed. Second is storing it in a tame. Finally you can build it over a ledge. Unfortunately if a cheater really wants it they can probably get to it
