  1. Welcome survivors, today I present to you the Tyrannotitan. Now i know what people are thinking “oh this is just another Giga clone” but my idea for the Tyranno is that it would be a dino between the size of a carch and the rex, i think that for extinction it would be used as a utility mount used for Orbital Supply Drops. The Tyrannotitan would have abilities revolving around corrupt dinos and killing them. I will present the dossier, then the abilities, then inspirations/what i think it could look like. Dossier: Tyrannotitan Species:Tyrannotitan Corruptensus Time:Middle Cretaceous Diet: corrupt flesh/corrupt nodes Temperament: Neutral Wild The Tyrannotitan is a huge theropod slightly smaller than the carchar that live in groups of 2-3 and their offspring. I have not seen many creatures actively seek out corrupt dinosaurs like the Tyrannotitan does. Tyrannotitans will not eat or even attack any healthy creatures unless attacked due to their hunger for the element rich flesh of the corrupt dinosaurs. When a Tyrannotitan is near corrupt creatures it goes into a kind of a feeding frenzy where their eyes glow purple and they are far faster and stronger. Tyrannotitans are heavily armored and appear to have spikes and osteoderms covering their body. The most peculiar part about the Tyrannotitan is their snake-like split jaw; it seems that they have evolved to hunt and kill specifically corrupt creatures. One very important thing to know is do not keep large amounts of element or corrupt nodes on your body because the scent of them will cause the Tyrannotitan to approach you, if you dont offer it to the Tyranno it will eat you. The Tyrannotitan can most commonly be found in the wasteland, however there are reports of larger stronger and more menacing looking Tyrannos in the Forbidden zone; i don't recommend trying to find out it is most likely a death wish Domesticated Once tamed the Tyrannotitan is a valuable mount for any tribe hoping to extract supplies from the OSDs, due to the fact that they are so aggressive toward corrupt creatures. Tyrannotitans produce a highly toxic saliva from eating corrupted creatures that can corrode even tech structures. There are two main saddles used for the Tyrannotitan, the standard and the military grade saddles. The standard saddle is a basic saddle that has metal protecting the two ridders. The military grade saddle has armor plating on the legs, neck, tail, underbelly, and face, this saddle also includes a chained harpoon gun on the back of the saddle, this harpoon gun shoots a harpoon that has a chain on it so when something is shot it can be pulled in. They can also be used as kind of an intimidation display keeping smaller corrupt creatures away from your base. Taming: Taming a Tyrannotitan is no easy task, you have to have corrupt nodes on you and go up to a Tyrannotitan and it will walk up to you and look on you, then you have to feed it the corrupt nodes. After you feed it you have to help it kill large corrupt creatures, after you kill a certain amount of creatures you have to feed it more nodes, rinse and repeat until tamed. Ability#1: The basic attack that does basic damage and slight poison damage. Ability#2: This is a stomp attack similar to the ark additions acro. Ability#3: A roar that buffs allies attack damage to corrupt creatures as well as debuffing corrupted creatures. Ability#4: Does a charge attack where it sprints faster and does several bites and at the end of the charge does a headbut that causes nockback and throwing smaller creatures and players into the air. Ability#5: Does a bite where it grabs onto the target and picking up small creatures. Passive Ability#1: when in the presence of corrupt creatures it has damage, speed, and stamina.Lasts for 30 seconds. Passive Ability#2: After the Tyranno eats enough corrupt nodes or kills enough corrupt creatures its eyes turn purple and it gains increased damage, speed, stamina, and damage resistance. Standard saddle learned at level 79 Military saddle learned at level 91 Harpoon for the saddle The concept for the Tyrannotitan has a lot of inspiration and similarities to the hypo dinosaurs spacificaly the hypo Giga from the Isle. I will be getting art for the Tyranno shortly but for now here is the art of the Hypo Giga and real world Tyrannotitan. Physical Description(ark version): The Tyrannotitan is a giant theropod being only slightly smaller than the Carcharodontosaurus but being more muscular and bulkier. It is covered in armored spikes and osteoderms, they also have sharp brow horns that are brightly colored. They evolved to have a split bottom jaw to be able to grab onto and hold prey still while biting down, they also have a second smaller row of teeth on the inside of its bottom jaw. Their skull is slightly thinner than Gigas and Carches. They have small spikes that line its spine and tail.
  2. yea i was thinking it would be cool to see more than ONE winner seeing as the center was the first mod map added and it didnt get any new creatures where as lost island and Fjirder (probly butchered that) both got 3 new creatures and rag is getting its 3rd with he gigantoraptor (the other two being the griffin and the ice wyvern witch were both originaly added with rag)
  3. what they mean is wildcards design for it has strayed super far from the original design and not in a good way like the Fasalo or the Rhynio. this is my opinion but i think they should redo the design for it.
  4. if it loses i will be returning for lost island, crystal isles, and Gen 1. if it loses i will refine it more and get art for it to make it more appealing.
  5. hey guys i was wondering what you think for the tek hatz. i kinda wanted to make a tek dino that has some utility and difference to the base creature instead of it just being a reskin of the base dino. tell me what you guys think and any suggestions for it😁. Thanks everyone!
  6. Welcome survivors today i will be presenting the Hatzegopteryx the island hopping pterosaur with neer infinite stamina. I imagine the Hatz would be no apex of the sky but rather an apex on the ground just the way it was IRL. I think it would do extra damage to small terrestrial creatures seeing as that was their main prey in their time, they would be able to sprint at great speeds even outrunning rexes. They would have an attack where they pick up dinos up to the size of a raptor with their beak, they would have a peck attack. There would be sexual dimorphism in hatzegopteryx with males having a large colorful crest and striped patterning, while the females lack a crest and have spotted patterning. Name: Hatzegopteryx Thambema Time: late cretaceous Diet: carnivore Temperament: Curious... Sometimes Wild The Hatzegopteryx is one of the most amazing, majestic, and suprisingly Very common creatures on this ark. The Hatz is an island hopping pterosaur that lives on coastal islands but can also commonly be found nesting, hunting, and taking care of their young atop the floating island. The massive nests of the hatzegopteryx can be found on the sides of cliffs where their eggs and young are safe, they have anywhere from 2-3 eggs at a time. They are sexually dimorphic with the males having large beautiful crests and the females lacking a crest and a different pattern than the males. They are not aggressive towards humans in fact they are incredibly curious of people and will come up to people without aggression, however if you have any baby dinosaur with you they will snap them up in an instant. I have found that offering meat to the hatzegopteryx will grant you high teir loot from their piles of treasure hidden underneath the floating island alternatively you could steal from these piles witch will lead you to a swift demise. However offering it fish meat will cause the Hatz to bellow and fly away as they hate fish meat. I have heard rumers of machanical hatzegopteryx flying around the very top of the floating island but those are just rumers, i hope. Domesticated A tamed Hatzegopteryx will be your best friend and will be a hunting buddy and loyal defender. The saddles I've seen used for this magnificent creature is one that carries two survivors and is equipped with a small machine gun turret for defense seeing as Hatzes are not built for air battles. Hatzegopteryx can also commonly be equipped with a bombing saddle as well as assisting in moving large amounts of resources with a saddle with crates on the sides. Apart from its utility it is a great cuddle buddy, and something i've noticed is that survivors that pet or cuddle their buddy have a boost in confidence and endurance. The bond between a Hatzegopteryx and its owner is incredibly strong, if a survivor is in danger the Hatz will save them without hesitation. Taming method#1: the first taming method is quite horrific, you have to feed the hatzegopteryx baby dinosaurs. the higher the level of the baby the more levels the hatzegopteryx gets. Taming method#2: If you tame a male hatzegopteryx you can do a courtship display in the form of an emote(similer to prehistoric planet) and if the female partisipates in the emote she will be tamed. Sprint: they can run faster than any other flyer. Also taking off while sprinting gives it a large speed boost Flight: can fly faster than wyvern Cliff latch: they can latch onto the sides of cliffs. Peck/Bite attack: 50 base damage Headbutt: 100 base damage high knockback Swallow: can grab and swallow anything the size of a raptor or smaller whole. if a player is grabbed they will have to attack to get out of it similer to the carnoflora, if the player does not escape they will be swallowed and killed. Pick up bite: does a bite that picks up any dino the size of a para or smaller. Apex predator buff: does increased damage to creatures the size of a trike and smaller, Roar: does a roar that gives all ally flyers in an area more stamina, damage resistance and speed. Also scares anything the size of a yuty or smaller, there is a 50/50 chance for creatures to freeze in fear or run away. Taming protection: It has by default the ability if it is left by a creature its owner is in the process of taming, it will use its mighty wings to blow away hostile dinosaurs and scream to alert its owner. Flyers Rivalry: They've got a great dis taste for other Massive flyers and will receive a rivalry buff similar to Trikes near apex carnivores. Hatzes gain a buff that activates when they are around enemy Hatzes, Rhyniognatha, or wyverns. this buff gives them increased damage output and damage resistance. Rescue mode: Holding the button on the Hatzegopteryx will open the interaction wheel for the dinosaur and there will be an option called Rescue mode. With rescue mode enabled: If called upon with a whistle the Hatzegopteryx will instantly fly to its owners rescue by picking them up with its beak and throwing them onto their saddle saving them from danger. Thunder clap: does an attack that shoots the Hatzegopteryx 20 meters higher in the air doing 70 base damage and blowing other flyers away.(like rodans attack from godzilla king of the monsters) Jetstream: ally flyers within a 20 meter radius of the Hatz can fly for far longer without landing. Island hopping: Hatzegopteryx can fly for a near infinate amount of time. They are also faster when flying over bodies of water. Weight reduction: they have a 60% weight reduction Base saddle learned at level 65 Turret saddle learned at level 70 Bomber/armor saddle learned at level 85 Can go to sleep, once asleep can be cuddled(kind of works as a bed). You can also pet your Hatz and it will give you a boost of confidence. Tek Hatzegopteryx: the Tek Hatzegopteryx is a very rare version of the Hatz that is bigger than a normal hatz(10% bigger) and it sounds more machanical. It has night vision an EMP roar that will deactivate turrets, tek equipment, generators and tek shields. The thunder clap stuns any flyers in a 15 meter radius. in order to tame this creature however you have to defeat the bosses and have tek armor. Tek Hatz Abilities: Bite: does 75 base damage Headbutt: 150 base damage EMP Roar: Does a roar that tempereraly deactivates turrets, tek equipment( Armor and wepons), generators, and mechs tempereraly. All other abilities are the same Physical description: They are a quit a bit taller than a rex, wingspan bigger than a wyverns. They have sexual dimorphism with the males having large colorful crests, they are also larger than females, the females lack crests but have a larger claws on their wings, they also have a striped pattern going down their neck. Art below for inspiration for the design. artwork done by theexiled1s on tik tok Ideas for the thunderclap and jetstream abilities from @DILONG Taming method and some abilities/tributes and art by @JohannesTD Flyers rivalry ability from @Kintyj
