  1. Species: Cameroceras Thalassapyro Time: Middle Ordivician Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild Many survivors including myself have noted the extreme depth of the ocean on this Ark, apparently the western side of the ocean has no end but I seriously doubt if this is true. Many prehistoric marine life dwell in the strange abyss but one of them is significantly more flashier (fishier?) than the others, Cameroceras Thalassapyro. In a lot of ways it is similar to Tusoteuthis Vampyrus in that they are both cephalopods capable of spraying ink but that's where the similarities end for me at least. For one Cameroceras is much smaller that Tusoteuthis (I'd posit around the size of a Dunkleosteus) and well it glows and not just that, it's ink glows. Cameroceras ink seems to have many different properties depending on which colour the Cameroceras decides to glow and it can fire the ink in multiple different ways, either in a single big cloud similar to Tusoteuthis or multiple small bursts it can fire from a distance. Domesticated A tamed Cameroceras can prove to be one of the most useful underwater creatures to have at your (tribe's) disposal. Its large cone-like shell can be used as a big spear to just simply skewer other creatures but that's rarely why survivors tame them. The main reason Cameroceras Thalassapyro is tamed is due to its glowing ink that changes its properties depending on its colour, from what I have seen there are three "modes" Cameroceras can go into "heal" (green), "damage" (red), and "freeze (or just stun)" (cyan). What the ink does in these modes is pretty self-explanatory but as stated before Cameroceras can fire the ink in multiple ways either in a single large cloud or multiple small bursts that can be fired from a distance but I should warn you, Cameroceras is not an infinite well of ink, if too much ink is expelled it will have no ink in its body and will have to speed up its metabolism to make more ink, in non-biologist words when Cameroceras runs out of ink it gets incredibly hungry so make sure you brought a lot of snacks during your dives with this thing. Mechanics Cameroceras is the multi-purpose aquatic creature capable of stunning, dealing damage, and even healing things and its all because of its fancy glowing ink! Cameroceras' basic attacks include a bite and weird cone slam, similar to the Woolly Rhino you can turn this cone slam into a powerful charge attack though not as powerful as the Wooly Rhino's charge attack. Cameroceras can expel ink the same way in all of its modes either in single devastating cloud like the Tusoteuthis or it can fire pellets of the ink from a distance similar to a tek saddle. The three modes are heal (green), damage (red), and freeze (or stun) (cyan). Heal mode heals things that come in contact with the ink, Damage mode, get this, damages things that come in contact with the ink crazy right?, and lastly freeze mode stuns things that come in contact with the ink. Stun mode in particular deserves a somewhat deeper look, the ink bullets don't immediately stun enemies but only after many, many shots. The Single Ink Cloud does instantly stun enemies however. Cameroceras has a unique ink stat, this stat determines how much ink it can expel, when theres no more ink Cameroceras gets a status effect that increases ink replenishing however also making it's hunger drain a bit more. Taming Oops I forgot to add how you tame this thing, uuhhh you let it eat some honey i guess.
  2. Never thought I'd like the concept of a bird in Abberation aka the no-flyer map, got my vote.
  3. Original Species (Indosuchus Raptorius) not my drawing Dossier Species: Indosuchus Diablovenator Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive (especially to Nameless) Wild: I have noticed that much of the prehistoric wildlife in these caverns are pretty aberrant compared to the prehistoric wildlife I encountered on the island and desert with them most notably glowing in the dark but one dino stands out from the rest, Indosuchus Diablovenator, for one I did not encounter it on the previous space stations and secondly it seems more derived than the other prehistoric creatures with numerous adaptations for dwelling in these caverns. Firstly Indosuchus is capable of swimming on the surface of molten element allowing it to escape many dangerous situations as other creatures can't dwell in molten element without getting hurt, secondly, Indosuchus has a corrosive breath that burns the skin of anything that comes into contact with the breath. Most creatures run away from Indosuchus when they come face to face with its breath but Nameless aren't one of them, in order to deter them Indosuchus will go out of its way to consume charge light emitting creatures and certain bioluminescent plant seeds & fruits to turn its corrosive breath into a glowing corrosive breath capable of blinding adversaries who have the misfortune of being in its way. Domesticated: Indosuchus Diablovenator is an incredibly popular creature for survivors to tame due to its ability to traverse the deepest parts of the caverns and its anti-nameless breath. One should note that taming Indosuchus can prove to be a bit difficult as it seems only Nameless venom will pacify them into being tamed. On its anti-nameless breath certain survivors have trained Indosuchus to fire its breath in multiple ways, the two most common ways are 1. A slow moving "breath ball" similar to how a Basilisk spits its venom and 2. A rapid-fire method where Indosuchus fires multiple diminutive but fast moving breath balls at targets, the fire-rate specifically is similar to the very advanced element rifles the group of survivors I'm with mainly use. Technical Stuff: Basic Rundown of what it can do/is. ⦁ A Medium Sized Theropod that's been upscaled a bit to the size of Ark's Baryonyx. ⦁ It is capable of swimming on the surface of molten element and is immune to radiation, emphasis on the surface of molten element. ⦁ It has a breath attack where it spews a corrosive gas like a flamethrower that deals damage and that's kind it. ⦁ If it kills a charge light-emitting creature or consumes a Plant Species Z seed or fruit it's breath attack gets the ability to blind enemies (similar to how Plant Z Fruit flashbang stuff) after a while of using the breath attack on them. However, after a few minutes or so the buff will go away. When buffed the breath attacks will do extra damage to Nameless and Reapers ⦁ Once tamed you can use the breath (buffed or not) in multiple different modes not just the flamethrower-like mode. ⦁ The first new firing mode similar to the Basilisk's spit in that it fires a ball of corrosive gas, it will instantly flashbang enemies if buffed however the ball is slow moving. ⦁ The Second Mode is similar in fire rate to a Tek Rifle, unlike the first mode if buffed the breath attacks will not instantly flashbang enemies instead you need to do several shots to the head of your enemies in order to blind them. ⦁ If you use too much of the charge breath will buffed you will get out of the buff early regardless of mode so don't just spam. ⦁ In order to tame it you must knock it unconscious the usual style then feed it Nameless Venom.
  4. Original Species (Diochus Electrus) Dossier Species: Diochus Electrus Magnus Time: Middle Eocene Diet: Carrion Feeder Temperament: Defensive Wild Diochus Electrus Magnus is a strange subspecies of Diochus Electrus I have discovered on this ARK, it is much larger than most rove beetle species I know but tiny compared to the other beasts here. They tend to simply wander about in the forests and surprisingly some of the cold mountainous areas of this place looking for carrion to eat. Due to its small size many larger creatures would want to prey on it so it has evolved a truly unique defence mechanism. Diochus Electrus Magnus has become incredibly bioelectric capable of creating shockwaves and shooting electric beams from its abdomen. These electric light shows are usually enough to scare most would-be predators from attacking, those that aren't are tased into unconsciousness. Domesticated Those who have earned Diochus' trust (by spoiling it with food for a while) will find an organic taser at their disposal. Diochus isn't large enough to be ridden but it's small enough to sit on one's shoulder (Who thought it was fine to have a giant rove beetle on their shoulder I don't want to know). Diochus can be trained to act as an electric sentry on both peoples' shoulders and on the ground shooting electricity at threats from a distance, on peoples' shoulders Diochus seems to instinctively resuscitate survivors when they are unconscious. I have also seen people train it to be a sort of living electric mine in that it'll be trained to create an electric shockwave when enemies come close to it. I have heard rumours that a certain advanced tribe uses a colony of Diochus as rudimentary bioelectric generators to power certain machinery, while that sounds useful I can imagine it would be pretty tiring for the beetles after a while. Technical Stuff This electric rove beetle can be found within the forest and snow biomes of Ragnarok, in the wild its passive until provoked, when provoked it will start doing electricity shenanigans to defend itself. In order to tame it you must passive feed it certain food, the best food to feed it would be regular kibble and raw mutton. Once you feed it enough just like that it tamed! As a tamed creature the Diochus can be your shoulder pet, similar to how the Mesopithecus will throw poop at adversaries the Diochus will electrocute enemies (fun fact, the electrocution will deal more damage to things in water), if you become unconscious and Diochus is on your shoulder it will electrocute you to get out of unconsciousness, just beware it can't do this consantly and the electrocution may hurt your character a bit. It can shoot electricity both on your shoulder and on the ground, on the ground you can make it go into turret mode and it actually has 2 types of turret modes, the first mode is the more normal one; it shoots electricity at a distance, the second mode is the shockwave thing mentioned in the dossier, whenever enemies go near the beetle it creates an AOE shockwave. The last major thing about is that it can act as a generator, you can order Diochus to power a single certain machine that requires electricity, one thing to note, the Diochus can't power something forever and eventually it runs out of energy and will need to recharge, if you want to have it power things for longer then level up the stamina stat.
  5. If it can be shoe-horned in it can fit (que examples of shoe-horning not working at all)
  6. (Obviously not my picture/drawing) Species: Stethacanthus Arenicolus Time: Late Devonian(?) Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Stethacanthus Arenicolus is perhaps one of the strangest creatures I have ever encountered on these space stations, even among giant lightning spewing wyverns and literal rock golems my biologist brain absolutely hates it specifically. The Stethacanthus of the desert are for one MUCH larger than the ones encountered in the fossil record and are almost fully terrestrial despite those same fossil record species being fully aquatic, i'm not sure how big these sand sharks are but I would say that they approach the height of Tyrannosaurus Dominum when peaking over the sand like a garden eel and that leads to the whole "almost fully terrestrial" thing I said a while ago. Stethacanthus Arenicolus are sand swimmers, swimming (or more accurately burrowing) through the sand dunes for prey while also trying to avoid being eaten by the bigger death worms, in order to defend themselves Stethacanthus are capable of launching spikes form their anvil like crests which create nasty wounds on whatever is unfortunate enough to get hit by them. When not burrowing or peaking out of the sand Stethacanthus will move by using its front flexible fins to haul itself over the dunes. Domesticated: Any tribe that manages to tough through the pain of attempting to tame a giant sand shark that shoots spikes will have an incredible desert war mount to lay siege to anything. Its sand swimming abilities make it easy to get to one place to another with powerful jaws to swallow entire groups of soldiers and its spiked anvil can be turned into a horrifying ranged weapon almost guaranteed to kill anything that is unfortunate enough to be focused on, however warriors riding Stethacanthus must be careful not to use up all the spikes or else they could quickly find themselves being swarmed by adversaries. For any tribe not (interested) in battle Stethacanthus still proves useful as its saddle can carry multiple people through the sand. Technical Stuff: Stethacanthus mainly spawns in the dunes where death worms spawn, they'll typically be in "sand swim" mode with most of their body beneath the sand with only they're anvil crests peaking above, at the cost of being able to move pretty fast they can't attack in sand swim mode and lose oxygen (pretty slowly) too. When it wants to attack something Stethacanthus will go into "Sand Peaking" mode where it will go into a similar position to the death worm and begin biting or shooting spikes at whatever its attacking but it can't move in this mode, the spikes cause the bleeding status effect but absolutely churn through stamina and have ammo meaning even if you have high stamina you can't just go trigger happy with Stethacanthus unless you level up a unique stat knows as the Spike Stat, levelling this up gives you more spikes to shoot. Finally theres "Surface" mode, surface mode is probably the worst mode for a Stethacanthus to be in as its both slow moving and slow at attacking (to add insult to injury it can only bite in this mode) but this mode is beneficial 2 ways, 1. This is the only mode Stethacanthus can breed in and 2. This mode allows Stethacanthus to swim underwater, underwater Stethacanthus is a bit more competent than the land Surface Mode Stetha but being underwater consumes oxygen. In terms of breeding Stethacanthus are unique in that the eggs spawn in their inventory, just take them out of the inventory and hatch/raise it as any other land creature. The taming method is the standard knockout tame, the best/recommended food to feed while taming it is exceptional kibble.
