  1. SNAP,TRAP AND ZAP??? THE KAIJU iNSPIRED GOJIRASAURUS IS HERE!!!! Submission by Romulas And Sophocles HISTORY Gojirasaurus was a Large Triassic Coelophysid which lived in what is now modern day Quay county, New Mexico. Holotype specimens date back to 1981 where they would eventually be analyzed and described by Kenneth Carpenter in 1997, it's holotype included A tooth, rib bones, a chevron, pubis, tibia, and metatarsal. There's been an ongoing debate with Gojirasaurus questioning whether it belonged to its own genus or not its fairly dubious as some bones seemed to belonged to other dinosaurs in the same family. Estimated length irl was around 18 feet or 5.5 meters long and a hefty 330-400 pounds or 150-200 kilograms.(Heavy credit to iknowdino.com they're a podcast crew which makes extremely informative dinosaur content for both YouTube and Spotify https://iknowdino.com/start-here/) TRAITS Gojirasaurus will have an extremely lean and flexible build making it opt to many different means of travel Gojirasaurus will spawn on the edges of the city It's pattern and color is inspired by various tree frogs and marine iguanas, godzilla specifically for the spines that spread across it's back which are more on the thinner side rather than the thick plating godzilla has, veins of unpowered element flow through the underside and through its platin,Females will have brown and gray patterns while males will be more elaborate (Sexual dimorphism) It can stand anywhere between bary-carno sized somewhere in the middle. A little lengthier than a carno but not as tall or as weighty for that matter (reduction to element based tools and resources) DOMESTICATION AND PVE/PVE UTILITY Maneuverability: It's flexible build makes it able to leap across long distances similarly to shadowmane but not as long (will probably work like an enforcer where it'll mark an outline of the next location) when targeted towards smaller creatures the Gojira will pin them down using their digits, this also makes Gojirasaurus able to perch on thin surfaces with its pin point accuracy including things like tree branches and those uneasy mountain juts, even being able to perch on top of larger animals Juke, if stuck in a tricky position it can quickly drift into the other direction dodging the opposition Mildly amphibious while not better than something like a baryonyx it still has the capability to swim Fighting: Claw attack used as a main form of attack you when looking from behind it turns into a tail whip which can blur vision for a very brief amount of time Bite it does 2 bites in rapid succession (Fairly weak) Defense: Gojira's hard plating allow it to take 6% slightly less damage than usual (not nearly durable enough to be used as any type of soaker) ELEMENT INDUCED Consuming a certain quantity of element Gojirasaurus can turn from a lean and stable mount to a powerful glass cannon When a Gojira has consumed element it will gain a reduction of speed and will do occasional jitters, it's previously unpowered element veins will gain a slight blue hue It will gain an additional reduction of speed in this form and its leap and attacks will be significantly slower It's bite will turn into a deadly weapon being able to make nasty gashes on anything which gets into its reach(that's if you can get into anythings vicinity during the battlefield, keep in mind this animal isn't made to be in the midst of the battle but more so on the sidelines, this ability is really only used for if by any chance you get into an altercation) BLAST! A Highly concentrated slow to charge element blast which takes a huge toll on gojira's health and stamina (stam will drain fast, health will drain slower but still fairly quick)(I suggest bringing some kind of consumable, also keep in mind any leveling in health you may applict to its stats won't strengthen its health dram significantly at all)it can only access this ability in its turret mode, it can move slowly move in all directions in this form, The first initial blast will act as a natural flash bang at first (it will do very little damage and will have short cool down between your next blast, it's following blasts will add a blasted effect to every tame targeted and will spread huge nasty gashes greatly decreasing health, furthermore being able to easily pass through structures(including thatch,Adobe,Wood, and Stone) Metal takes at least 30 seconds to completely destroy keep in mind it is highly specific you can only destroy one structure at a time structures with higher health may take a good few minutes. BEHAVIOR They hang around in troops of 4, hunting small animals anywhere from a parasaur to below, their diet can also vary drastically they might also switch to insects and fish on occasion. They spend a lot of their time laying around playing games with each other or exploring as they don't have to eat much to stay afloat. They're extremely intelligent in that they know when there's danger nearby and will actively avoid it (Gojirasaurus nearby is usually a good signifier that there it's a safe space) Gojirasaurus are completely neutral to people, they more or so fear humans more than you might fear them, being aware enough to know that humans are the more intelligent animal. Juveniles and adolescents have an extreme level of curiosity they'll sneak out when the elders are sleeping to go off and explore Gojirasaurus Armor / Elemental Armor When killing a Gojirasaurus it will drop an Elemental Spine, that can be used with Elemental Hide (another drop from Gojira) to make Gojirasaurus / Element Armor. This armor would take reduced damage from anything element based (like weapons, Gojirasaurus, Titans and more) - It would weigh a hefty amount but when charged up with enough element (like tek armor) or has taken a large amount of damage from Tek related weapons it will gain charge . When the armor is charged up it will deal damage to anything that attacks it, reduce incoming damage even more but will slowly hurt the wielder as they cannot bear the sheer power of the element within it. - The Elemental Spines and Elemental Hide would be rare drops from a Gojirasaurus but would be well worth it. Gojirasaurus Blade / Elemental Blade This blade could be used to block incoming element based attacks (Wyverns, Manas, ect). When this blade charges up it will do significantly more damage but be much slower when attacking (Pretty much a Great sword) TAMING METHOD For taming you must hop on a Gojirasaur when resting and feed it a piece of element. When fed they go into a their rage/element infused state and charge up their elemental breath, you must jump onto the back of the creature and use it while to beam nearby creatures and gain taming progress. If you hit any other Gojirasaurs or fail within the time limit it will buck you off and accordingly disintegrate you with its Element Breath!!! Please feel free to leave any constructive criticisms and suggestions
  2. Wow yeah these deserve more attention! I really want another aquatic for this map and edestus delivers on that it's a shark and with the overflow of megalodon a new shark would kinda balance things out a bit, Starting off the submission with some fantastic art I've followed your suzhousaurus submission before this and You're an extremely talented artist your blending of color is seemless and even down to extremely small details like the cutson the sharks body and the small to notice ridges and not perfectly cut white underbelly I like your specificness when it comes to ability the first one I see is that edestus has a precise bite being better for larger targets it gives a unique factor to the sub as a whole, the Xp grinder is something that could be Hella useful especially during ASA when we will have to grow gigas again gone are the days of baby giga farming, the regrowth of teeth is also a very nice touch it makes it more useful to the QOL if it wasn't already tbh this sub doesn't need too much more it already improves ark so much Here are some suggestions though: Camoflauge- most sharks have the colors dark Uptop and white underneath to blend in within the ocean surroundings (forgot the correct term lol) Does Hella damage to soft bodied animals (Tuso) Quick turning Tail fluke smack that does torpor
  3. Honestly this is isn't bad its actually really good! Certainly one of the better aurochs/bison subs I've seen! I do think a bull sub can be handled well If you put in the time and effort to do one and this shows abit of that The whole dung thing is great haven't seen the whole fertilizer trait for other cow subs and the milk has some qualities like speeding up growth unlike being a wyvern milk substitute like other subs overall it's good I don't have any negatives towards it there is a few things I'd like to suggest if you don't mind ofcourse: Go full on useful milk have it be a natural buffer to dinos making them more durable through improving the strength of their bones In terms of PvP I can see aurochs being a sort of anti stun when your tames are stunned aurochs can go ahead and jolt some fear back into them by rushing towards them canceling the stun and making the tame move faster aswell as that bulls can pin down small animals with their hooves making them immobile, catch animals on the tip of their horns, and leave dust trails that blind bigger opponents pretty much everything you'd see in a rodeo. Bulls are strong and useful animals not to be tested why don't we give ark's aurochs that fearsomeness it should have
  4. YES! More feathers please!!!! This is such a beautiful and unique sub I really hope it gets high up there, Dromaeosaurs are my all time favorite dinosaur family I've bounced back and forth between sub ideas for dromaeosaurs but never settled for one. Beginning the submission with some lovely vibrant art ofcourse drawing inspiration from peacocks perfect pick given its abilities leading on with its abilities the hypnotizing feature is something I've wanted for a while in ark, one thing I will say about the hypnotizing feature you've included here it does seem abit limited bloodstalkers can pretty much lure already most prey in with no restrictions and the ability isn't all too broken without the limits (being only able to target deinonychus sized unmounted tames) I'd say maybe make it better than the stalker the stalker already has tons going for it besides its lure I think zheny should be able to target mounted tames up to shadowmanes (not broken tbh could be really good for the meta) also with that it could maybe potentially lead animals aswell as doing the whole eating alive thing (would add another unique feature without being too cluttered Here's some other things I thought of your choice to include them or not: Zheny has lightning fast turning based on how much acceleration it gets it can dive down and slide on the surface of the ground almost like you're skiing Due to its speed and alluring feathers when running in circles around an opponent they can get dizzy and lose balance (good for escaping) Besides that I think the sub is overall really good and handled extremely well the whole vanity taming method is extremely funny and unique to the game and overall I'd really love to see this in the top 10
  5. Wow really love the details you went with it being in its natural environment very akin to sea otters with the whole laying on its back gig I personally would love to see more aquatics and I do think notho has the potential to brighten the seas up a bit. Really only one criticism I face with this one and that's the whole static electricity tail stun thing way too similar to baryonyx, if you are still going with some kind of tail ability maybe something that works like this: When exposed to warmth for abit of time similarly to the boiling pot ability it can transfer its warmth to its tail spines allowing it to scorch enemies (works like fire breath for wyvs but less damage and has a steam effect rather than a fire effect) I'll let you choose how long that lasts. Besides that overall really like this one the heating Abilities and bio Spit (speaking of that since it's sticky and mucus like i was thinking maybe it can be sticked onto animals with water buffs to make their buffs last wayyy longer) really nice touch without being insanely op it might be a Lil too much for some but not me
  6. HE'S BIG, HE'S BAD, AND HE LIKES HIS FISH Yes Aram is back....I was very late to this vote I had alot planned for this vote particularly but it all came too sudden unfortunately Saying that I decided to one of my favorites back for another spin alot of people seemed to like it and I additionally thank you for the support during the round when It was active it's such an honor being part of these subs Also sidenote:With the release of Rhyniognatha there might be some issues surrounding the idea of the creature but I'll change as much as possible during the vote, this creature is just here for those who wanted it as I know many did if you have any suggestions or ideas please leave them below While you're Checking this out make sure to check out these other cool subs: Tylosaurus Design/location Aram is slightly taller than a rex, it has an upright position unlike Quetz (wish Quetz would've maintained the dossier position tbh) They are mainly found in the Cliff zones of The Center specifically but you can also find them in the center cave. Sexual dimorphism included- Males have a kingfisher inspired color palette with a extravagant display of picnofibers while the females have more brownish colors and have less picnofibers ECOLOGY/BEHAVIOR: Aram spawn in little clans of 3 usually one Alpha male and 2 females but it is possible that with enough in one area their might be a whole community of them including a Matriarch (Highest lvl Female Aram) Neutral They primary hunt fish but if the opportunity presents itself they'll eat smaller animals They actively fish in the wild similarly to a stork they'll jolt their necks and lunge after their prey TAMING METHOD: Gain trust from a mother Aram by dropping by and feeding it fish on occasion, then after you can help it build it's nest, the more materials the more it'll incubate, if any predators do make their visit if trust is built enough the female will defend you from said predators, but you need to make sure to make the nest picture perfect, the Mother will make subtle remarks to where the materials should be put, when finished the female will give you approval to be a parent, Be warned though the Alpha male does the occasional fly by to check on any intruders DOMESTICATION: Maneuverability: Galloping is needed in order to take flight, the longer the gallop the faster you'll be during liftoff A Slow gradual Dive bomb, strictly for mobility, catching up to other flyers, not for attacking but can be paired with the spear attack to hit smaller flyers the longer you dive the more damage output your spear move will have Using the dive you can also dive underwater Swimming is included too while they aren't the best at it is possible Can carry multiple smaller tames for transport (weight class troodon and below) in its mouth Can glide over bodies of water and slowly regain stam. Not as good as regaining stamina through normal means but it makes it good for those tough times where you have to stop for stam so often. Speed boosts from incoming waves and waterfalls (Could be handy in Asa when proper water mechanics are implemented) Turning like a dime, It can glide and dive sideways, albeit nowhere near as fast as Desmodus and Griffins but more or so used as a means of escaping and hitting targets Attacks Bite- Fairly weak but fast and easy to use Nab- can be used to grab smaller creatures aswell as chuck them at opponents the higher the weight class the higher the damage Spear bomb-Can Strike targets with an absolutely devastating dive spear attack on either land or in air takes a lot of time to build but it has a fairly good damage output and is effective against saddle armor and player armor for more pinpoint accuracy it has a marker to perfectly pinpoint targets and strike Hip Check- This is more of a passive ability and can be activated if you're flying parallel next to a flier, you can knock them off coarse using your massive wings (a nice addition for keeping your target at a steady pace and preventing them from being too fast to catch) Can Swallow Anything below Phiomia size with low health giving it a health boost! SADDLE: Their saddle is sort of steampunky with a few modern elements (Art coming soon) it includes a pair of goggles that greatly enhances their vision being able to see clearly underwater and being able to pinpoint from greater distances HISTORY: Arambourgiania while very hard to pronounce, is one of the biggest Pterosaurs only being outclassed by Hatzegopteryx and the Quetzal in weight, it was found in 1940 by Camille Arambourg by chance in Jordan (A middle Eastern Country), it's name means In honor of Arambourg, ofcourse referring to Camille, it probably would have had a wingspan of over 7 feet (23 feet) some estimates putting it around 12 feet. It lived in the Late Cretaceous and while it is an incomplete specimen based on other Pterosaurs we'd assume it would have a pretty close lifestyle to Marabou Storks or Shoebills. Sidenotes: I don't want this to be another Quetzal If anything I want it to encourage a Quetzal TLC Quetz will be the heftier sky base and Siege while Aram will be more in the Wyvern class if anything, I'd like it if we can have another big flying tame to It will not have a platform saddle, I want to keep this separate from Quetzal It's glide and dive mechanics are not that fast much slower than a Griffin and can't be used as an attack, they're just a meer boost in maneuverability, the dive will make it slightly faster than average and the glide will keep you from losing stam as fast Cosmetic thing Ig:They actively fish in the wild wait long enough and you'll see it hunting fish
  7. I really like the idea you got going for it but what I'd say to do is come up with a few more abilities for it
  8. I love it! I'm all Aboard for the gorgeous feather hype train especially after gigantoraptor another dromaeosaur would be lovely I know alot of people are bored of them but not me some kind of late game dromaeosaur would be a nice sight and I think you portrayed this pretty well the mesmerizing thing is pretty unique for a rideable and I'm all for gliding, my favorite part of the sub is definitely the mirror taming method it's amusing but so unique at the same time only thing I'd say give it a little bit more differences than Deinonychus and The Utahraptor in game other than Solid!
  9. Design/location: Archegosaurus also known by it's lesser known synonymous term Menonomenos is a relatively large temnospondyl that makes its home in the Fertile and Blue lakes of aberration. -Blue lake variant, luminous muted alpine newt inspired pattern -Fertile lake Variant, smooth newt inspired palette -Sexual dimorphism I may include, females will generally have smaller tassels and will be of darker hue than males -13 meters in length a few meters less than ark's ingame sarcosuchus ***ECOLOGY/BEHAVIOR*** -Passive Menonomenos will spawn solitary but you might see the occasional pairs of two. On occasion they go out of water more or so at night time they're up and moving about but during the day they spend most of their time on the benthic part of lakes snagging the abundant amount of aquatic fauna Lampreys and Menonomenos have a special symbiosis in which lampreys get food and comfort inside of Meno's Jaws and the Menonomenos gets a certain chemical as a waste product of them granting it an easier time digesting food. ***TAMING METHOD:*** A female Meno lays eggs hidden on aquatic plants and rocks, the eggs being sensitive to touch; you'll have to gain the respect of the mother to acquire one. Transport the Meno to a safer location via whistle within a given timeframe, Small predators will try to take the egg away from the mother Don't worry about larger predators when near a mother meno you'll go undetected as Meno eggs are off the menu for most large predators. ***DOMESTICATION*** Menonomenos make for fantastic support mounts to allies being able to swiftly maneuver around the battlefield and assist those in need Menonos have a "Soak meter" they need a good supply of water to function 80% or more soaked will give Meno a hydrated boost increasing speed and causing them and the rider to be more slippery to catch ( Karkinos, Desmodus,PTs and Griffins have a harder chance grabbing your char) ***CONTROLS*** ***(Space bar)***-Mucus secretion/belly slide, pressing space bar once will have Menonomenos secrete a sticky liquid like mucus around itself ***(Holding Spacebar)*** your Meno can belly slide using it's own mucus to slide about at fair speed *(Left click)*-Bite which is fairly weak ***(Right click+hold)***Lamprey projectiles: Meno can aim lampreys and spit them out using it's elastic jaws Lampreys will stay on a target for 40s after which they'll drop off and conceal into small balls which can be picked up again ***(C)***-Spit mode switch Spit modes include: Attack- Lampreys will slowly drain the health of a target Healing- Lampreys will heal a target (could be additionally good for taming if you went a little overboard on damage and made a close to knocked out tame bloody) Paralysis- Lampreys will inject a shocking secretion if applied enough will paralyze a target for a 20s (Additonaly these "modes" can be turned into consumables as well, Healing elixirs, tranquilizers and more) ***SADDLE:*** Meno's can be ridden without saddles but they do have a saddle that adds to the overall quality of it as a mount, it allows them to keep soaked for longer while giving them a little more protection ***EXTRA NOTES:*** Extremely good in water being able to move in almost all directions (Sideways,Back,Front, Up and Down) at a fast pace Lampreys will become docile and attract to your mount automatically in which they can be collected via Menos option wheel. If you check it's inventory, said lampreys will be stored as icons similarly to the fish basket system, except they won't be counted as creatures sort of like an accessory. Gross but using Meno's option wheel you can breed the Lampreys inside of it's mouth
  10. Omg that is unbelievably perfect thank you so much for the suggestion
  11. Design/location: Archegosaurus also known by it's lesser known synonymous term Menonomenos is a relatively large temnospondyl that makes its home in the Jungles lakes and swamps of Ragnarok There is an extremely rare cave variant that sports a more luminous muted alpine newt inspired pattern Normal Variant sports a smooth newt inspired palette -Sexual dimorphism I may include, females will generally have smaller tassels and will be of darker hue than males -13 meters in length a few meters less than ark's ingame sarcosuchus ECOLOGY/BEHAVIOR -Passive Menonomenos will spawn solitary but you might see the occasional pairs of two. On occasion they go out of water more or so at night time they're up and moving about but during the day they spend most of their time on the benthic part of lakes snagging the abundant amount of aquatic fauna Leech and Menonomenos have a special symbiosis in which leech get food and comfort inside of Meno's Jaws and the Menonomenos gets a certain chemical as a waste product of them granting it an easier time digesting food. TAMING METHOD: A female Meno lays eggs hidden on aquatic plants and rocks, the eggs being sensitive to touch; you'll have to gain the respect of the mother to acquire one. Transport the Meno to a safer location via whistle within a given timeframe Don't worry about larger predators when near a mother meno you'll go undetected as Meno eggs are off the menu for most large predators. Smaller more determined predators will be attracted to the sight of eggs however (Kapros and below) DOMESTICATION: Menonomenos make for a fantastic support mount to allies being able to swiftly maneuver around the battlefield and assist those in need (As a pvp player specifically I think it would be refreshing to take a break from the countless amounts of dps tames and soakers and make a mount that can support, it can get pretty stressful at times) Menonos have a "Soak meter" they need a good supply of water to function 80% or more soaked will give Meno a hydrated boost increasing speed and causing them to be a Lil more slippery to catch Maneuverability: *(Space bar)*-Mucus secretion/belly slide, pressing space bar once will have Menonomenos secrete a sticky liquid like mucus around it *(Holding Spacebar)* your Meno can go into a belly slide using it's own mucus to slide about at fair speed Attacks: *(Left click)*-Bite which is fairly weak *(Right click+hold)*Leech projectiles: Meno can aim leeches and spit them out using it's elastic jaws Leeches will stay on a target for 40s after which they'll drop off and conceal into lamprey balls which can be picked up by meno and used again as ammo •(C)•-Spit mode switch (I was originally going to have these relate to shrooms but I think this submission is already filled to the brim with things I'd just be pushing it over the edge) Spit modes include: Attack- Leeches will slowly drain the health of a target Healing- Leeches will heal a target (could be additionally good for taming if you went a little overboard on damage and made a close to knocked out tame bloody) Tranquilizing- Leeches will apply narcotic effects to the target You can stack up to 15 leeches on 1 target SADDLE: Meno's can be ridden without saddles but they do have a saddle that adds to the overall quality of it as a mount, it allows them to keep soaked for longer while giving them a little more protection Sidenotes: Extremely good in water being able to move in almost all directions at a fast pace Leeches will become docile and attract to your mount automatically in which they can be collected via Menos option wheel. If you check it's inventory, said leeches will be stored as icons similarly to the fish basket system, except they won't be counted as creatures sort of like an accessory. Gross but using Meno's option wheel you can breed the Leeches inside of it's mouth (Black and white as of current I originally planned this for abberation but now it seems like I need to make some changes in order to fit this map, New art will be coming soon)
  12. HE'S BIG, HE'S BAD, AND HE LIKES HIS FISH Hey! 13. (Completely unbiased) This is my favorite submission in the top 10, I'm a huge fan of cassowaries and avians alike, I remember I had a project back In the 6th grade where I had to make a clay model of two of my favorite animals at the time and I'm not even kidding about this! I chose the Cassowary and the Axolotl, pretty coincidental i find a axolotl profiled fellow with a cassowary based submission, story time aside I think this animal could be good from both a PvP and PvE aspect ofcourse it's mother like tendencies being good from both sides I find to be one of the more defining parts sort of like a branching out what oviraptor could've been. It'll be unique enough from other theropods to make it not feel in the same vein as another "Chomp Chomp bite" dinosaur", furthering from combat and more on environmental while I would like it in a more tropical style map scorched earth fits it as the desert is where its more commonly depicted in science and media, (I've been on a disorganized tangent for a solid minute lol) I have an idea for the submission not utility wise but purely about the fun usage of it, maybe it can have a sliding mechanic, being able to strafe and skate on the dunes slopes?
  14. Fantastic submission! Honestly Ledu is pretty well rounded it's claw attacks while comparable to the therizinosaurus are unique enough to make it stand out as a pvp mount, another platform saddle creature is nice to see especially one with some combative capabilities there's honestly not one other platform saddle creature I can think of that is more utility useful than this one, there's not too much to note on this one a short and simple submission that is unique and looks fun to use, furthering on that note I do have some questions and ideas, is this going to be a soaker? You had stated that it would be durable similarly to the stegosaurus, if you're going through with that route maybe don't make it a full on one or less comparable to other soakers the combat soaking function, and agility while also being more over the lines of a rex tier would make for an overpowered mount, also here's an old idea I had originally from one of my submissions, maybe it can duck and weave attacks I'm not entirely sure how it will work but it'll be pretty fitting
