  1. Monolophosaurus Accommodare: The one dinosaur to truly adapt to the diverse environments of the Broken Ark!! Dossier: Common Name: Monolophosaurus Species: Monolophosaurus Accommodare Time: Jurassic Temperament: Aggressive Wild: Remnants of what Monolophosaurus Accommodare may have looked like prior to this Ark’s destruction exist in the Fertile region. However, as I journeyed deeper into the cave system I encountered larger and more deadly variants of this typically small theropod. The Bioluminescent region is home to a slightly larger variant that emits light to help it prey on Nameless, whilst deeper down I encountered a monstrosity that spews radioactive bile at its prey. Domesticated: Whilst Monolophosaurus are not particularly common, I have witnessed tribes using all three subspecies for various uses: the Green Crested Monos possess a potent narcotic venom capable of incapacitating creatures far larger than it, the Blue Crested offer unparalleled protection against the aforementioned Nameless, and the Red Crested, although not quite as strong as other apex predators, offers a potent ranged attack that makes it useful against both dinosaurs, and any tribes that stand in your way. Furthermore, it seems these creatures produce far more bile than needed to hunt, and I have witnessed tribes use this excess bile as a substitute for other resources, making Monolophosaurus Accommodare quite the nifty companion. Overview: My main desire for this creature is a dinosaur that embodies the progression aspect of Aberration. I believe there are three main factors that contribute to Aberration’s popularity within the community: the difficulty, the clear sense of progression throughout the map, and the cool lore behind the map!! The different crested monos would help make your experience slightly easier in each zone, with green monos helping you with early game taming, blue monos helping you throughout the blue zone as you deal with the hordes of nameless, and the red monos being a strong endgame tame that can serve minor pvp purposes but also serve as a boss fight alternative because I think a variety of creatures going into a boss army looks awesome!! Furthermore, to prevent your previous monos becoming obsolete, they could also passively create a “congealed bile” of their respective colour that serves as a substitute for aberration’s gems, meaning you have a reason to keep them around after you’ve progressed past their primary use! As for lore reasons, I have always been a fan of the Rock Drakes = mutated deinonychus theory as I think it adds even more to the map, and so the idea of monolophosaurus spreading out across the biomes of Aberration and evolving/mutating to suit each one is awesome to me! Whilst it may seem like a lot to add three variants, I envision these variants where there are stat tweaks (and in this case size and a couple colouration and ability changes). I also see these variants (especially the green crested) as what the dilophosaur could have been, similarly to how the Desmodus became what the onyc should have been (and yes I know monolophosaurus and dilophosaurus were not related irl but they are often associated with one another). Green Crested Monolophosaurus: Stats: Comparable but lower than a raptor/ravager Size: raptor size Abilities: Spits ranged bile that applies torpor (similar strength to a bow with tranq darts but scales with melee) Passive: Produces green congealed bile Taming: bola and passive feed narcoberries, acerbic mushrooms, or narcotic Blue Crested Monolophosaurus: Stats: Better than a carno, lower than allo Size: Carno size Abilities: Spits ranged bile that provides a slowness debuff to enemies it hits - it also passively gives off the charged light effect making it good for warding off nameless from your base Taming: Bear trap and passive feed Nameless venom Red Crested Monolophosaurus: Stats: Comparable to Megalosaurus, perhaps lower damage, higher health? Size: Allo size Abilities: Spits ranged bile that causes both damage and a radiation effect on dinos and players (dinosaurs immune to radiation and players in hazmat suits do not get the effect, but are still damaged) Taming: Large Bear trap and passive feed element ore Overall I would love for this to come to the game, and my friends and I worked hard coming up with this submission! Whilst I know wildcard does not always apply all suggestions of a submission when implementing the creature, they seem to mostly strip the more overpowered mechanics, and I don’t think anything from this submission (especially after wc tweaks things) would be too overpowered. However the most important aspect of this suggestion is implementing that sense of progression within the creature that aberration is so popular for!
  2. All these great dinos just make me wish we were getting more than one from this vote, Scorched really needs some variety and perhaps this is what it needs most of all!!
