  1. First, The reason why I give it dose abilities is because of the tributes it eats. I mainly did it because I want to find another use for the Tributes than just for to summon the bosses. And besides if I some how win I doubt Wildcard will keep all the abilities I put into the submission anyway. Second, It's not meant to replace the Stego. Like I put in the submission it takes less damage like the Stego but it doesn't have the same health (plus its not really meant for soaking turrets). As for the Kentrosaurus I can see why you think it might out shine it or people might not want to tame one anymore. But to be fair the Kentro is meant to be more of a guard dog/living spike wall, were as my Saurophaganax is a multi use Dino (not to mention that people have been wanting to ride the Kentro for awhile now so I figured this is the next best thing lol).
  2. Wild (Dossier): This has to be one of the most creepiest looking Dinosaurs ive seen yet. Saurophaganax Maximus doesn't even look like your typical theropod and looks more like a straight up demon. With its spiky body and fiery eyes, im sure it would give anyone nightmares. But despite its looks it seems to be more friendly towards the larger herbivores than the smaller ones, but im not sure why though. Iver because they rather hunt smaller prey that are easy to kill and won't even fight back. Or maybe it's because of what dangers lurk from the wastelands that they briefly made truce with the other dinosaurs. So far ive notice that Saurophaganax has an easier time dealing with corrupted creatures than most dinosaurs and usually winning. Domesticated (Dossier): Taming one is no easy task, because of its spike like armor its super hard to penetrate it with arrows or darts. Luckily one crafty survivor came up with a way to knocking one out, by using a Dodo strapped with Poison Grenades all over its body as a sacrifice to the Saurophaganax. Once it eats the poor Dodo it ignites all the grenades and it went to sleep. Once everyone figured this out everyone started to get their hands on one of these scary looking things. After studying the Saurophaganax I finally figured out how they were able to survive for this long. It's because they seem to be copying abilities from other dinosaurs, almost like a Lyre Bird on steroids. Because of this tribes use it if they only want one dinosaur and want to use it as a dinosaur equivalent to a Swiss Army knife. It also makes a great companion with the Enforcers. Whenever you want to take on some Corrupted Dinos or gather some element, these two go together hand in hand. Habitat (In Game): Saurophaganax would be a rare creature to find in game, it would basically be as rare to find as a Quetzal (or even a Giga like on the Island map). The reason for this is because of how overpower it might be and also to give players more of a challenge to find one. The mostly likely spot to find one is at the "Sunken Forest" era. You may potentially find some in the "Wastelands" but it's even more rare of a chance to find one out there (and also extremely dangerous with all the Corrupted creatures running around). Your best bet is to find one in the Sunken Forest. Behavior (In game): It's really aggressive towards survivors and or any small Dinos (like Dodos or Compys). But anything thats as big as a Trike, or even bigger like a Bronto, it will leave it alone and roam around peacefully. But if anything hits the Saurophaganax it will obviously fight back. Also if theres a corpse near by then much like the Argentavis and Meganeura it will agro on to it and eat it (and fight anything thats eating the corpse as well). Taming (In Game): Like its mention in the Dossier you cant use Tranq arrows (or darts) because of its tough skin. The only way to tame a Saurophaganax is by using a small Dino (like a Dodo for example) and filling its inventory with Poison Grenades as much as you can. Then lure the Saurophaganax to the Dino your going to sacrifice and have it eat it. You will know it worked because it will do a special animation were it grabs and swallows the prey whole. A few seconds later after that happens you will hear a loud boom sound coming from the Saurophaganax and it will start to cough (as green smoke comes out of its mouth). Depending on the level of the Saurophaganax you will have to repeat this method multiple times before it gets knocked out. For example it may take 5 (or 6) Dodos full of Poison Grenades in their inventories in order to tame a 150 Saurophaganax. The only down side to this is that the grind in order to make all of those Poison Grenades. Its preferred food is extraordinary kibble. Saddle: The saddle can be learned at level 70. Much like any other saddle in the game it requires hide, fiber, and metal in order to craft it. And it can only be crafted in the smithy. Size: The Saurophaganax is a big apex predator but if your expecting it to be the same size as a Giga (or a Carcharodontosaurs) then your mistaken. In game it would be bigger than an Allosaurus, but smaller than a T-rex. Basically another mid to large size carnivore. Speed: Its faster than a T-rex, but much slower then a Giga, Allo, or even Yuty. It's as fast as a Carno or Raptor. Also like a Yuty it drains a lot of stamina whenever your fighting or sprinting. Attacks: It has three different attacks, each one for different damage and uses. Bite: The Saurophaganax most powerful attack is it bite. A level one Saurophaganax can do 70 damage per bite. Head Butt: It dose less damage than its bite but it has a lot more knock back in comparison. A level one can do 66 damage with its head butt. It also dose a lot of damage to Corrupted creatures (but more on that on the "Abilities" section of the submission). Tail Slam: The tail slam is the weakest move it has but still useful. Even though it doesn't do that much damage (a level one will do 40 damage), its a good way to fight any creature thats attacking you from behind. It can also impale Dinos with the tail attack (again more on that in the abilities section of the submission). Abilities: Recoil Damage: Much like the Kentrosaurus (and Arthropluera), whenever the Saurophaganax gets hit by another Dino (or from an enemy Player) it will be hit by small amount of Damage back at the attacker. Impale: Another thing it has in common with the Kentro is that it can Impale creatures with its tail. Using the "Tail Slam" attack will Impale most creatures, but unlike the Kentro it can impale multiple Dinos at once. Imagine it impaling 5 Raptors while they're on the Saurophaganax tail. Also it can impale bigger creatures but only Dinos that are the size of a Parasaur or an Iguanodon. Armor: It's takes half the amount of damage from any creature in the game (similar to a stegosaur when it's in "Harden Plate Mode"). Harvesting Wheel: Just like a Moschops you can level its harvesting on these specific items. Raw Meat Raw Prime Meat Raw Fish Meat Raw Prime Fish Meat Raw Mutton Element Dust Corrupted nodule Weight Reduction: It has a weight reduction on all the resource from the "Harvesting Wheel". Except for Raw Prime Meat, Raw Prime Fish Meat, and Raw Mutton. Raw Meat 50% Raw Fish Meat 50% Corrupted nodule 80% Element Dust 60% Corrupted Killer: Its "Head Butt" attack dose double the amount of damage to Corrupted Dinosaurs. Not as much damage compared to the Enforcer but still able to hold its own with the more stronger Corrupted creatures like Giga's and Reaper's. At the same time though this isn't meant to replace the Enforcer. Instead it's meant to go along side the Enforcer, to just like in the Dossier. Much like how people say that Argy's and Anky's go well together, same goes for the Enforcer and the Saurophaganax. Roar: It has a roar (like most large carnivores do), but it dose have some what of an effect that isn't just for show. It can scare away smaller Dinos, (pretty much anything thats smaller then a Carno). Kinda similar to the Parasaur's "Honk" ability. Power Mimics: Depending on the tribute it eats, it will be able to use that creatures abilities for a short period of time. All the effects last for 15 minutes, where as the Giga heart effect last for 3 minutes. It's Basically like how players eat soups and stews in the game. The only tributes it won't eat are Alpha versions, Boss Trophies, and any other tributes that aren't mention on the list. Allosaurus Brains: The highest level Saurophaganax will be the pack leader. Also much like the Direwolf and Raptor it can be trigged by roaring (but you obviously need more than one Saurophaganax and they also need to consume Allo Brians too). Argentavis Talons: Able to "Rapidly Regenerate" from eating corpses and have a 50% weight reduction on almost every item in the game (think of it as like a larger Sinomacrops). Basilosaurus Blubber: Gives the rider an insulation buff and automatically generates oil. But unlike the Basilo (or even the Tuso) its much faster and it requires fish meat in its inventory. Megalania Toxin: Immune to any stamina draining de-buff and gives wild Dinos and enemy tribes Rabies when using the bite. Megalodon Tooth: Allows the "Head Butt Attack" to do a bleed effect now and able to find Wounded Dinos like the Direwolf's ability. Sauropod Vertebra: Dose 20% more damage with the "Tail Slam" attack, and takes 30% less damage from Cannon Balls, Ballista Turrets, and from Rocket Launchers. Sarco Skins: Swims 30% faster in the water and regains stamina twice as fast. Spino Sail: Gains the "Hydration" buff and takes 20% less damage from water or amphibious creatures. Titanoboa Venom: Immune to any torpor. Granted I know some of you are think that "I thought it was already immune to torpor"? While yes that is true but with the Titanoboa Venom it won't get any torpor at all (including when it loses stamina). Also it will inflict torpor with its bite. T-Rex Arms: Gives the Saurophaganax 20% damage for its bite attack. And gains the ability to make non-allies poop and be stun briefly when using the roar. Yuty Lungs: Can use both "Courage" and "Fear" roars like the Yuty when the Saurophaganax uses its normal roar. You can also buff a certain group of Dinos and have them briefly on your side. But instead of wild Carnos, it's wild Allosaurs. Fire Talon: Immune to any fire or flame attacks. And with its Bite it will light any player (or creature) on fire. Lighting Talon: Immune to any electric attacks (including the Eel and Cnidaria stuns). And when it bites it will shock and stun its enemies (like the Jellyfish). Poison Talon: Protects the rider from Poison Wyvern and Basilisk poison attacks. While also giving enemies the "Gas Burts" effect while using the bite attack. Rock Drake: Able to camouflage and immune to Radiation. (Also to become invisible like the Rock Dark you would just simply press the same button you used for the roar) Corrupt Hearts: Can replenish its health by a 100. Much like what Nameless Venom dose for Rock Drakes. Gasbags Bladder: When using the roar it will blow other Dinos super far (much like the Gasbag) and also giving players the "Gassed" effect. Giga Heart: This is the Saurophaganax favorite food, giving it a Giga heart is like giving Popeye his spinach. Because when it has this effect on it almost because unstoppable. It will have 50% damage, 40% stamina recovery, 40% health regeneration, 40% movement speed, and 30% damage reduction from anything. Weaknesses: Penetrating Armor: Any creature that can bypass the Saurophaganax spiky armor can do decent amount of damage to it. Whether it's the Amargasaurus armor spike debuff, The Arthropluera's acidic spit, or even the Reaper's Acid cloud. Tribute Timer: There's a 60 second cool down before being able to use any tribute items again. Also you cant make the Saurophaganax eat multiple tributes at the same time. Anything Element: It takes 20% more damage from any element related attacks. From Tek rifles, to Tek Saddles, to even from Tek Grenades. Inspiration: My inspiration for the Saurophaganax came from a hand full of different creatures (both in real life and fictional). In terms of the design I based it of the Allosaurus from "Jurassic World: Dominion" and "Battle at Big Rock", but bulkier, more demon like, and with spikes/armor of an "Armadillo lizard" (and the eyes of the 1998 Godzilla from the Poster). But in terms of its powers and abilities it mostly came from the "Lyre Bird" which can actually copy the sounds of any other animal or anything in general (like a chainsaw!). Also I wanted to use the Saurophaganax as another way to use tributes then just for summoning bosses. Hope you guys like my idea and consider giving it a vote. If you guys like this idea I gave to the Saurophaganax, then your going to love my other ideas to creatures they might also add into the game.
  3. Nice, some of these concepts kinda remind me of my own ideas for Saurophaganax (although my ideas are much more longer and more wild in comparison lol). 👍
  4. Wild (Dossier): Gomphotaria is the first ever Walrus species I've discovered on the Arks. They are really common to find on the beaches and shores, but I have found some in ice caves but they're not as common. The females are somewhat docile were as the males are extremely aggressive, not to different than are modern day Elephant Seals. Also the males have huge manes like a Fur Seal where as the females don't have manes at all. I have also discovered that whenever the Gomphotaria is attacked or feels threaten by another creature it will not only attack with its large tusk, but it will also shot out giant snowballs from its month with devastating effect. Domesticated (Dossier): Once you feed it some dead fish, pet it some times, and do some tricks with it, you got yourself a tamed Gomphotaria. Survivors tame the Gomphotaria because of its abilities to keep the survivor and their fellow tribe mates warm from the most extreme cold environments in the Center. Tribes that tend to go to war with one another also find use for the Gomphotaria in that it's completely immune to any freezing or snow attacks from other creatures with ice powers. It can also hold its own with most sea creatures you may come across in the ocean. Survivors have discovered that it can shine bright lights from its green eyes almost like car headlights, making it easier to see in deep dark bottom of the sea floor. Between that and it's wild ice powers, the Gomphotaria is an excellent tame for both the water and in the snow. Habitat and Behavior (In Game): Like it says in the dossier the Gomphotaria can be found in any of the beaches and the sea shores of the Center map. They can also be found in some parts of the snow and ice parts of the map but they're not as common to find. You can find them at the "Penguin Pound", the "North Ice Cave", and the "South Ice Cave". Also there is some notable differences between the male and female Gomphotarias. The males are a bit taller (about the same size as a Carno), have larger flippers and have manes. Where as the females are shorter, don't have manes, and their tusk aren't as long or big as the males. They also have different abilities and attacks then one another (but thats for the powers section of the submission). But both male and female Gomphotaria have spotted patterns around their bodies (similar to a leopard seal). The wild males are always aggressive towards Survivors and will attack automatically. Where as the females will only attack if you hit them (whether it was an accident or not). In game if you find them on the map they would be iver walking around the beaches (and or on the snow). That or they will be swimming in the water close to the shore eating fish. Taming: Because of the males being really aggressive you need to offer it dead fish in order for you to gain its trust (much like the Carcharodontosaurus). You would also need to do the same for the females as well. Note that you can be able to use the Ichthyornis "aura" effect from the dead fish to make the progression bar go faster and to make it trust you more quickly. After you gain the Gomphotaria trust you will have to do a little mini game in order to finish the tame (yes, a mini game). What type of mini game you might ask, well if you ever been to a Zoo or an Aquarium you would see seals doing tricks and being trained to perform. But in this case for the Gomphotaria, it would be training you to do tricks for it instead lol. Basically the Gomphotaria would emote and you would have to use the right emotes in order to guess it correctly. For example if the Gomphotaria waves at you, you'll have to wave back to it. If the Gomphotaria roars, you would have to use the cheer emote. If its crouching down on the ground and puts its flippers on its head you would have to use the scar emote (etc etc). If you use the right emotes then the Gomphotaria will clap and the taming bar goes up, but if you get it wrong it will just shack its head and you will lose some of the taming progress. If you get the emotes wrong three times in a row not only will you have to start over the taming proses (yes including giving it dead fish), but the Gomphotaria will attack you out of frustration and you'll have to lose its agro in order to try taming it again. Also you will have 10 second window in order to do the emote, other wise it won't count. Once you do this enough times you will have tamed the Gomphotaria (for example a level 4 would take 10 emotes in order to complete the tame). Abilities: Both male and female Gomphotaria have abilities and powers that are the same, but at the same time they have abilities exclusively depending on the gender. Cold Immunity: Both Gomphotaria are immune from any ice or freezing attacks which includes the Managarmr ice breath, the Fenrir bite, and even freezing attacks from the Ice Titan. Not only that but it will also give the rider an Hyperthermal insulation buff that will keep you warm from the coldest place on any map. Also (another thing similar to the Magmasaur is that in stead of lava) it will not take any damage from cold water (like the water in the snow cave from the Island map). Rivalry Buff : Much like the Triceratops the Gomphotaria has a rivalry buff but unlike the Trike it mostly effects water creatures. It will only get this buff if its close to a Megalodon, Manta, Angler Fish, Electrophorus, Baryonyx, Sarco, or even a Rhyniognatha. When the Gomphotaria has the buff on it will get a boost both in health and damage. Glowing Eyes: Both genders of the Gomphotaria can make their eyes glow like the bright lights of a car, but this effect only works in the water and at night (you also cant turn the lights on or off). Mobile Refrigerator: It can store and increase the spoil timer on any consumables. Even items that you wouldn't be able to put in a fridge like Organic Polymer, Leach Blood, Ammonite Bile, Wyvern Milk, and even Lesser Antidote. Healing from Fish Meat and Snow Owls: Just like the Baryonyx it heals much faster from raw fish meat than from normal raw meat. Also like every creature in the game it can be healed by the Snow Owls Encapsulated ability. But unlike most creatures it heals much faster when it gets healed. It gets double the amount of time to heal compared to other Dinos. Attacks: The Gomphotaria dose a bite attack (which dose similar amount of damage to a Allosaurus) but what makes this bite attack special is that it ignores any type of armor. Because of its sharp tusk it can do damage through the players armor (just like the Gigantopithecus). Also if something is attacking it from behind it can turn around to bite at any direction (much like a Sarco). Male Gomphotaria Abilities ♂️: Giant Snowballs: It shots out a large snowball from its mouth and once it hits the opponent not only will it do lots of damage but it will also freeze your enemies (think of it like a mini Ice Titan). But the down side is that theres a 30 seconds cool down in-between shots. This snowball attack can be used underwater. Roar: The Gomphotaria has a roar that gives a boost to allied Dinos just like the Shadowmane. But when the Gomphotaria roars it gives an effect that allows players and Dinos to be immune from any freezing attacks for 30 second and it increases their damage by 20%. But much like the Shadowmane you need to have the male to be mate boosted in order for the effect to work and theres a 28 second cool down in-between roars. Hair: With its large mane you can cut it with scissors to get extra hair and much like an Ovis it slowly grows back over time. Female Gomphotria Abilities ♀️: Small Snowballs: Just like the male it can also shot snowballs but the main difference is that they're smaller and theres no cool down in-between firing a snowball. Also they don't do as much damage compared to the males. Another difference is that when the female Gomphotria shots a snowball its a bit more rapid (its nowhere near as fast as the Velonasaur quills but still faster than the male Gomphotria). Also whenever something gets hit by the female Gomphotria snowballs it will get the "Frozen" debuff (much like when you get hit by the Ice Wyvern breath). This attack can also can be used underwater like the male. Milk: If you tamed a female Gomphotria and put a lot of raw fish meat into its inventory then you can set it to wandering to have it produce "Gomphotria Milk". Theres two reasons why you would need Gomphotria Milk, one is that its the only food the babies will take (much like Wyverns). And two is that if you drink the milk it will give you 787 Hyperthermal insulation and brief immunity to any stun effects. This may come in hand if try to go to any ice caves and are too small for the Gomphotria to fit through. But much like the Wyvern Milk this buff only last for 180 seconds from the time it was used. Speed: Male and Female Gomphotria are somewhat slow on land but in the water it's much faster. Not as fast as a Sarco or Ichthyosaurus but both are defiantly faster then a Baryonyx and Carbonemys. Saddle: The saddle for the Gomphotria is learned at level 43 and you would need hide, fiber, and metal in order to craft it. It is also only crafted in the smithy (and of course in the Tek Replicator). Weaknesses: Super Slow on Land: Granted it's still faster than a Carbonemys but it's not as fast as a Raptor or Carno. So if you think you can out run a Giga with the Gomphotria your super wrong lol. It's much more suited for the water especially with the rivalry buff. And while on land it's meant to be more of a support creature like the Yuty. Weak to any Fire Attacks: Because of its ice abilities and having sensitive fur, any fire attacks whether its from a Fire Wyvern, Flamethrowers, and or fire arrow will do double the amount of fire damage to the Gomphotria. Cnidara Stunlock: The Gomphotria is not immune to the Jellyfish shock damage so don't use it to hunt the Cnidara. Just try to avoid it like your riding any other water mount (except for the Basilo or Tuso of course lol). Tusoteuthis Grab: The Gomphotria can also still be grabed by the Tuso so be careful if you come across one in the ocean. Thank you for reading this and if you like my idea for the Gomphotria then your going to love my other ideas for creatures they could add to the game. Granted I know they recently change it so the same person cant win twice but still if you just want to see my other ideas in the regular chat rooms, I'll be more then happy to share those ideas with you.
  5. Heres my idea for the Euoplocephalus, make it deflect "Bullets" and have it be a "Mobile Fort". Wild (Dossier) "Euoplocephalus Tuts is one of the most aggressive akylosauridae I have ever encountered so far. It really prefers not to share its personal space with any other creature, it doesn't matter if it's a carnivore or a herbivore. If anything get to close, it will fight it (even if it is own kind). Heck taking this dossier was a bit of a risk with the Euoplo spotting me half the time. I have also notice that its armored like skin is really durable compered to other creatures on the Arks. And if something dares to challenge it, 9 times out of 10 the Euoplo will win most fights." Domesticated (Dossier) "Taming a Euoplocephalus is no easy task. Because of its armor nothing can penetrate its skin, Tranq darts (or arrows) will only bounce off of its body like a rubber ball hitting a cement wall. However some survivors have found the Euoplo's one weakness, it's under belly. If you can some how manage to flip it on its side you can unload all of your Tranquilizers onto its belly before it gets back up. Once tamed the Euoplo is probably the best war mount you can ask for. Seeing that its armor is almost indestructible different tribes use the Euoplo as a shield. They even trained them to lay down on its side like a Fort. If you want a living tank that can also gather efficient amount of gems. Then look no further than the Euoplocephalus." Habitat (in game): Unlike the Ankylosaurus, the Euoplocephalus can be found in the "Fertile Regions" of Aberration. Very rarely will you find it in the "Bioluminescent Region". Most of the time a wild Euoplo will be seen wondering around alone (like most creatures in Ark). It will be rare to find multiple Euoplo's in the same spot (kinda similar to the Therizino spawns on other maps). 1 to 3 will spawn in certain spots around the map. Behavior (in game): Another thing that is different between the Euoplo and the Anky is that (much like what is said in the Dossier) the Euoplo is really aggressive. If you get to close it will attack you (much like the Therizinosaurus or a Kentrosaurus). But not only will the Euoplo attack players, it will also attack other Dinos (including other herbivores). And yes, much like what it is said in the dossier they will also fight their own species. How this works is basically if two Euoplo's aggro each other than the two fight for the territory until the one with the less amount of health will run away from the winner and be far enough away to lose aggro. Taming (in game): In the Dossier it says that the only way to tame it is by flipping it on its side and shooting at its belly. Now keep in mind that all of these ideas I have on Flipping the Euplo aren't multiple ways of taming it, these are just simply ideas I have so this way Wild Card can pick which one fits best for the game. Which ever method that gets picked, the Euoplocephalus will be on its side so you can use Tranq darts (or arrows) on its belly. But you have to be quick because you will have 20 or 30 second window before it gets back up. Rinse and repeat until it gets knocked outed. Idea 1, C4: Even though the Euoplo takes reduced damage from explosives (more on that latter), it may not always workout. Put to little it won't fall at all but if you put to much then you may accidentally kill it. About 15 or 20 C4 should be enough to make it fall over. Idea 2, Basilisk or Reaper: Use a Basilisk (or a Reaper King) and burry underneath the Euoplocephalus and when you emerge out of the ground it will cause the Euoplo to fall on its side. Idea 3, Karkinos: Use a Karkinos and try to pick it up. But because of how big (and how heavy) the Euoplo is it will force it to fall over (basically no matter how many times you try to pick up the Euoplo with a Karkinos, it will always fall on its side). Idea 4, Purlovias: Granted this method is kinda similar to the Basilisk and Reaper idea but with a different twist. You use two or three Purlovias and when the Euoplo gets close enough, they will pop up and make it fall over. Granted I know tame Purlovias won't attack wild Dinos when its burrowed, but unless A) The devs decide to change that for "Ark: Survival Ascended". Or B) You get people from different tribes to help you and have the Purlovias aggro onto them while at the same time they hit the Euoplo. But the problem with this method is that its way to complicated. Even if the Purlovias can attack wild Dinos, you need to put the Purlovias on passive as soon as the Euoplo is flipped, have them burrow again, and at the same time your supposed to be Tranquilizing the Euoplo too. I can imagine this being a nightmare to most survivors but at the same time I tried to come up with a way to make the Purlovia more useful. Preferred Food: If you want to get 100% taming effectiveness on the Euoplo, then you gotta use "Extraordinary" kibble. If not then like with most herbivores you can also use Crops or Berries to tame it as well. Size The Euoplocephalus is definitely bigger than the Ankylosaurus but not by much. In fact its as big (if no slightly smaller) then a Stegosaurus. Attacks: Tail Swing: Much like the Ankylo it dose swing and do a lot of damage, but also it dose some knock back as well. Broken Bones: Whenever you use the tail swing attack it will give the enemy Dinos (or players) a status effect called "Broken Bones". This effect will make the enemy very slow and drains stamina quickly. Similar to the Sabertooth Salmon ability the "Blood Drain", but the only difference is that its not a bleed effect. In fact you won't be able to regenerate health while you have this effect. Another difference is that the stamina drains by almost double the amount of time. Also this effect dose stack (in terms of how long the effect last, not by damage). So if your hit once the effect will last for 10 seconds, but if your hit more than that (lets say 4 times) then it will last for 40 seconds. Tail Slam: This is for any creature that tires to attack you from behind (kinda similar to a Kentro). Not only dose it do more damage then its "Tail Swing", it has a bigger knock back effect. Stunned: This effect happens whenever you use the "Tail Slam" attack. It's similar to the Microraptor effect (or even the Baryonyx water spin), the only difference is that your tame is stunned, not the rider. You cant get dismounted from this effect, unless of course if you jump off your mount (or going on foot) then it will have an effect on the player. This effect last for ten seconds and the only creatures that aren't effected by this stun effect are Alphas (like the Basilisks, Karkinos, and Surface Reaper Kings). It dose have a cool down between each stun (probably 60 or 70 seconds). Bite: Even though it can bite its defiantly one of its weaker attacks. It even dose less damage compared to the Ankylosaurus bite attack. It can also harvest berries with its bite attack, much like the Anky but not as efficient though. Abilities: Deflecting Bullets: Like it says in the Dossier because of its hard armor like skin it cant take damage from bullets, arrows, and other projectile weapons (with a few exceptions). Also if a bullets (or arrows) does hit the Euoplocephalus skin then it will ricochet into another direction (kinda like what happens in "Star Wars" whenever a laser blast hits a lightsaber). It might even bounce back to the player it shot from. Mobile Fort: You can make the Euoplocephalus lay down on its side (just like how you can make the Chalicotherium and Megatherium sit down). This plus its "Deflecting Bullets" ability makes the Euoplo a mobile fort. Also because of how big the Euoplo is, 4 or 5 players can hide behind it. Recoil Damage: Much like a Kentrosaurus and Arthropluera, whenever the Euoplo gets hit by a Dino (or another player) it will be hit by a small amount of damage back at them. Armored Skin: The Euoplocephalus armored skin is so strong that it takes damage reduction from almost anything. Similar to the Doedicurus ball form but the only difference is that the Euoplo doesn't need to cure up into a ball in order to have damage reduction. It has it on 24/7, even when its not laying down on its side. It doesn't matter what Dino (or weapon) you use on the Euoplo it will always have a 60% damage reduction from most creatures (including the Giga and the Carchar). The only Dinos that can do a significant amount of damage to the Euoplo are ones that can by pass its armor (but more on that when we get to its weakness). Immune to Bleed: The Euoplocephalus is completely immune to any bleeding effects. Whether it's from a Ravager, Deinonychus, or even a Giga, it won't have any effect on the Euoplo because of its armor. The only way to get the Euoplo to have any type of bleeding effect is to flip it on its side. Broken Bones: (Apart of this was already mentioned in the attacks sections of this submission) ⬆️ Stunned: (Again go back and read the attack section) ⬆️ Weight Reduction: The Euoplo is the ultimate Gem harvester in the game, not only that but it also has really good weight reduction for all three gems as well. Both the "Tail Swing" and the "Tail Slam" can harvest gems. Even though the Euoplo is an "Aberration" exclusive for "Ark Survival Ascended" and Extinction will come much latter for "ASA". But when it dose come out and when they make you able to transfer other creatures to different maps, then you can transfer the Euoplo to "Extinction" so it can harvest Red Crystalized Sap, Blue Crystalized Sap, and Fragmented Green Gems. It will also have weight reduction for those items as well. Green Gems 80% Blue Gems 80% Red Gems 80% Fragmented Green Gems 50% Blue Crystalized Sap 50% Red Crystalized Sap 50% Weaknesses: Soft Belly: The Euoplos belly is the only part of the body that isn't armored and can take normal damage. Flipping it on its side: The way you tame the Euoplo can also be used to kill it easier. Because of its armor it will take awhile to kill any Euoplo (doesn't matter if its tamed or not). So all the methods (or ideas) suggested to tame the Euoplo can also be used for killing it as well. Slow Moving: The Euoplo is faster then a Anky but its not a speed demon. If you expect to make a quick get away from a Basilisk or a Reaper, your mistaken. Your best bet is to stand your ground and fight. Penetrating its Armor: Any creature that can bypass the Euoplos armor will be something to look out for. Whether its the Amargasurus armor spikes debuff, the Arthropluera's acidic spit, or even the Reaper's acid cloud they all ignore the Euoplos armor buff and do normal damage to the Dino. And if you guys liked this idea for the Euoplocephalus, then your going to love my other ideas for different creatures they should add to the game.
  6. Wow, 8 years of Ark. Time dose fly. I still remember back when I first played the game when it first came out on Ps4. Despite my minor issues with the game I still never get tired of playing it. And every time they add in something new, whether it's a new creature or weapons it makes a whole new fun experience for me. So Happy Birthday to one of my favorite videos games of all time, "Ark: Survival Evolved". 🎮 🥳 🦖 Also im surprised they picked Ragnarok and not Aberration. And im hoping that this means we will get an exclusive creature for "The Center" map as well. 🤨🤔
  7. Here's My Idea for the Corythosaurus, give it a "FLAMETHROWER and LOUD-SPEAKERS!". Dossier (Wild) Corythosaurus Casuarius is very similar to its close relative the Parasaur in terms of behavior but not in terms of habitat locations. The only place were I found Corythosaurus is anywhere thats hot. From what ive studied not only does it prefer hot climates, but some how its skin is immune to fire! Ive even seen one of them swimming in lava, crazy right. But thats not all, whenever it gets attacked by a predator it lets out a Honk similar to the Parasaur's. But the main difference is that unlike the Parasaur's horn were it scares away small predators, Corythosaurus horn is actually more irritating to the point it hurts their eardrums. Which gives the Corythosaurus enough time to escape. Dossier (Domesticated) Once tamed survivors use Corythosaurus as away to help themselves from the intense heat. Because of Corythosaurus unique abilities most survivors equip a tamed Corythosaurus with a Flamethrower and two speakers on each side of its saddle which helps amplify its Honking noise to the point were it irritates even larger carnivores like a T-Rex. In any case Corythosaurus is a welcome addition to any tribe that wants to explore hot places or make a quick get away from most creatures. Habitat (In Game) Just like what it said in the dossier its commonly found in hot areas, it would be commonly found in the Dunes (or even in the World Scar Trench), very rarely is it found anywhere else. Much like the Parasaur it spawns from 1 to 4 in certain areas. Behavior (In Game) Also like the Parasaur it's a passive dinosaur that will not fight back and will only runaway if its being attacked. Taming Much like the Diplodocus its both a "Knock-Out" Tame" and a "Passive Tame". Attacks It can do a headbutt attack but it can also do a tail whip attack that has a small knock back. Abilities Immune to Fire: The Corythosaurus is completely resistant to Lava, Fire, or any type of heat status effects. Also Riding a Corythosaurus allows the rider to not be affected from the heat effects or fire attack as well (similar to a Magmasaur). Weight Reduction: Any berries that are picked up by the Corythosaurus or put into its inventory will get a weight reduction of 50%. We're as any Vegetables get a weight reduction of 75%. It also has a weight reduction for oil, sulfur, salt, and Propellant for 50%. Bare Back: You can ride the Corythosaurus without a saddle but like the Tropeognathus and the Andrewsarchus its true potential is with the saddle. Saddle The saddle would be learned at level 70 and can be crafted at a Fabricator (or in a Tek Replicator). The saddle is crafted with the same ingredients as the Tropegnathus saddle but with less amount of resources. It also requires sulfur and any quality of Flamethrower to craft the saddle. Dino Whistle: Much like the Parasaur it has a "Honk" ability but it doesn't scare enemies, instead it cause the Dinos pain from the noise (kinda like a dog whistle). As soon as any creature hears the Honk of the Corythosaurus it cause them to stop what they're doing as they try to block out the sound. You can use this ability without the saddle, however though it will only work on smaller creatures no bigger than a Raptor or a Dire Wolf. But with the saddle it can effect Dinos as big as a Giga or a Carchar. With or without the saddle the effect last for 40 seconds and has a cool down of 150 seconds. The only creatures that aren't effected by the "Dino Whistle" (even with the saddle on) are... Titanosaurs All three Titans Meks Humans Parasaurs Other Corythosaurus All Bosses Flamethrower: It works very similar to the normal flamethrower in the game but with longer range, longer Enflamed effect, and it dose slightly more damage than a primitive flamethrower. It can also passively heal any creature with fire abilities. It requires flamethrower ammo in order to use it on the saddle. The dinos that can be healed from the flamethrower are... Fire Wyverns Ember Crystal Wyverns Magmasaurs Phoenix Amargasaurus (but only when it has the "Heat Spikes" on) Stats It would have slightly higher Health and Melee Damage but at the same time it would have less Weight and Speed compared to the Parasaur. The rest of the stats would be almost identical to the Parasaur stats. Weaknesses Attacking: Just because the Corythosaurus "Dino Whistle" ability disables most dinos that doesn't mean you can take on every single creature you see. The "Dino Whistle" is meant to be iver a distraction or to be used to trap (or possibly tame) the Dino as its disabled. Much like the Parasaur its not much of a fighter, it would be better if you used the ability then send in your heavy hitter to finish the job. Freezing Temperatures: Because of Corythosaurus being more used to hot temperatures it cant survive in cold climates. It can however go into water or ocean biomes (it can even swim well in water) but if it enters a snow biome or any place that has ice it will slowly die. Ice Attacks: Again because of Corythosaurus skin being more used to fire or lava it will not react well on anything thats cold or has a freezing ability. Ice Wyverns, Managarmr, Fenrir, and Amargasaurus (with the ice spikes on) can do significant amount of damage to the Corythosaurus. And even Snow Owls can harm the Corythosaurus, which I would not recommend using the healing buff on any Corythosaurus because it will slowly kill it instead of healing it. Electrical Storms: The saddle will not be able to work during an electrical storm. And that's it, those are all of my ideas for the Corythosaurus. Let me know what you guys think and if you like this then you guys are probably going to love my other ideas for more Dinos they could also add to the game.
  8. Nice, finally. I know everyone is already saying that its a "Giga TLC" or "Its a Yutyrannus 2.0" but we still have to wait and see how the mechanics work in game and how much it differs compared to the Giga and Yuty. Im still curious though how are you going to tame it though and what map (or possible maps) is it going to spawn in. 🦖🤔🏞️ (It still would have been epic if it had missile launchers and a chainsaw for its saddle, that would have make it even make more op lol.) 🚀😉💥
  9. Thank you for your ideas👍. I know it looks or sounds kinda lazy with just the chainsaw on its head. I just thought not only would it be cool to have but to also have the Carchar stand out a bit more compared to the other Dinos and their saddles, that and also I didn't wanted it to be to complicated. But your idea of a muzzle type of device on the Carchar dose intrigue me, maybe I'll try to do another drawing with that in mind next time. 🤔
  10. Okay 1, What do you mean "Carcharodontosaurus doesn't need to be in the game", people like big theropods, whats the harm of adding in just one more. And Second, it doesn't have to make sense this is Ark after all, ever sense they add in tek saddles and all the other crazy stuff they added to the game they can pretty much do what ever the heck they want. You mean to tell me the devs are going to be like "We can add in a giant space whale but a Dino with a Chainsaw and Missile Launchers on its saddle, thats too far fetched for this game". lol 😆
  11. Well I certainly want this and im sure there are some people out there that want it. Plus I think it would be really fun to run around in any map with that stuff on its saddle, if we can get the Tropeognathus with a Jet engine and Grenade launcher then why not have Carchar with Missile launchers and a Chainsaw! 😎💥
  12. Even though it didn't win the vote at least their finally going to add in the Carcharodontosaurus at some point. Now Im wondering what they plan on doing with it, Im hoping they will us my idea (but I doubt it). 🤞
  13. A bit disappointed that the Carcharodontosaurus didn't get picked for the Lost Island map but oh well. Hopefully they will add the Carchar in a future map. #AvengeCarcharodontosaurus ✊🦖
  14. True but just because they didn't add all of the ability's for the Dinopithecus that was proposed in the fan submission, that doesn't mean that they will do that all the time. Plus we did get the Tropegnathus which inspired me to make my wacky idea for the Carcharodontosaurus.
  15. If you guys like my crazy idea of having the Carcharodontosaurus have a giant chainsaw and missile launchers for its saddle then you're going to love my other wild and wacky ideas for other creatures. 😉👍 (This is another drawing I made for Carcharodontosaurus but without the saddle) Let round 2 begin! 😏🔔
  16. I know it was your idea, my idea is completely different obviously. My idea for the Carchar was to have it be a glass cannon, it wouldn't be as tanky or as powerful as a Trex despite it being slightly bigger than it (I picture it as having similar stats to an Allosaurus). Though I do like your idea of giving it more armor rating of 100 instead of 25 armor for the saddle. 👍
  17. And don't forget I also put missile launchers on both sides of its legs. 😉
  18. #AvengeCarcharodontosaurus ✊🦖 (By the way this was one of my crazy ideas for the Carchar)
