AS someone playing a fungus leshie in Pathfinder 2e, I think this would be very unique. It would be interesting if it have some kind of useful resource, like yeast (yeast + giant bee honey = mead = Scandanavia) (yeast + fiber + long grass/savoroot = bread) Maybe it naturally spawns rare mushrooms and the other types of mushrooms from Aberration. Maybe it can have some kind of brain washing zombie effects (cough, cough, noglin, cough) that would turn the effected creatures into zombie bombs that explode into spores and shrapnel. Maybe they can act as a shoulder pet and keep micro Raptors, pegos, icthyornis, titanomyrna and purlovia from making you feel like you walked down the wrong street in Washington DC at midnight.... Maybe all it does is allow you to hug it which just triggers a really off putting and disturbing voice clip that says "I love you!" with a slurping, wet voice that is clearly inhuman.... Yeah...... Ideas.... I am going to go back and put my squid hat back on so I can finish worshipping Cthulhu.
