  1. Sauropelta is cool. so, why not strap a big ass gun to it and make it cooler? A large well armored nodosaurid found only on center, Sauropelta is a gentle but powerful beast. Double the size of the arks ankylosaurus, It spends its days between the rocky pillars foraging in the undergrowth, often approaching survivors out of curiosity. Its spiked sides and heavy armour prevent it from being carried, but its weight allows tamed sauropelta to undergo the massive stress of cannons and missiles being fired from arrays on their back. Dual cannons or quad missile launchers make sauropelta an amazing creature for taming rock elementals, karkinos, or prolonging seiges. being flipped on its side will grant sauropelta massive damage reduction from projectiles, and give it recoil damage to melee attacks. However, this mode constantly drains its stamina. They also LOVE Wood, healing rapidly from it. While their melee is low, they have immense stamina and weight. Their consumption of rotting wood in the wild has made them love wood products, and they can carry it at 90% weight reduction. They are also adept at gathing it due to their stiff bony tail, which is topped with a metal axe by most survivors for optimal gathering.
  2. Basic Overview Monolophosaurus is well known for being extravagant, with its display and glorious head crest. However, those that reside on aberration have taken it a step further and drugged up. Their bite contains the same hallucinogens as the various mushrooms of aberration. It also has the benefit of being able to drive things insane, causing them to go into a rage mode. Spawning Generally found in the fertile zone, Monos will wander about in areas where raptors would otherwise be found (less getting pounced off your mount). If they find prey, the whole pack will jump into action. They can occasionally be found in the radiation zone, making it even more dangerous then previously. however, this comes with the benefit of them also attacking creatures like abberant carnos which are all over in the radiation zone. Domesticated Being so fond of mushrooms, Monolophosaurus approach players who have mushrooms. It is important to seperate them from the group, as they are very unsocial in large groups. Its crest will light up one of 4 colors, each one corresponding to a type of mushroom found on aberration. Feed it the wrong one, and it may eat you instead of following you home. After Domestication, Monolophosaurus can provide a tribe with various enhanced bio-weapons, such as bullets tipped with toxins and traditional narcotics depending on which mushrooms they last consumed. They are also capable of a powerful leap, launching themselves across gaps with ease. They are also immune to radiation, and their bite can cause smaller creature to flee in terror (including both nameless and seekers, allowing you to venture into the radiation zone without constantly managing your light pets). On larger creatures, it can cause some to be driven mad and attack everything. They also receive the same +1 style pack boost as sharks, but with each number also increasing venom affliction % Mechanics Explained The toxic venom works like a combination of the fear roar and the annoying red mushrooms. It causes targets to flee, and be unable to see in a drug induced haze. This is useful for caves, as being able to cause a pack of ravagers to turn tail and flee after being struck several times is incredibly convenient. Its not simply a one hit and run attack, though. each bite only transfers a small amount of venom to the target and will effect them only once enough has built up (amount needed is based on drag weight). Creatures under a certain drag weight will flee (think parasaur size and smaller), while larger ones will be driven into a rage mode where they attack everything around them until they die or the venom wears off (this includes allies and others of the same species).
  3. Diabloceratops is adapted to the desert in a way that benefits almost everyone. It had adapted to be able to sort through cacti and bushes to gather specific plants. It can specify which type of plants it prefers, ranging from large quantities of narcoberries and cactus sap to high strength fibers and polymers. which it can convert into various stews in its kitchen saddle. It can cook various brews and stews on the go, and a few unique concoctions, including healing salve that boosts the passive regeneration of other creatures. Dossier Common Name: Dibble Scientific Name: Diabloceratops Eatoni Time Period: Cretaceous Temperament: Aggressive Wild In the wild, Diabloceratops gather in groups of moderate size, making them a serious threat to anything on scorched earth. However, they have developed a unique relationship with small creatures, where they help feed by sifting for roots. They often leave behind piles of wood and insects in their wake, allowing creatures like archaeopteryx to feed of overturned insects. They will attack other creatures that approach without hesitation, but will lower its guard when sifting roots. Taming Taming Diabloceratops is certainly worth the effort, if you can seperate them from their group. When they sift the soil and sands for roots, Quickly running up to one while it forages will increase its interest in you, and if you peak its interest, it may follow you home. However, if you are too slow to feed it, it may decide to ruin your day. Its been well documented by survivors of cases where Diabloceratops follows them home before relentlessly attacking everything in sight. Domesticated Many tribes use Diabloceratops as an alternative to industrial cookers, as it can brew and stew large quantities of healing salve, stews, and enhanced narcotics. Some tribes are known to strap large kettles to the back of their Diabloceratops, using it to boost their other tames regen and, resistance, or other effects. By feeding other creatures with these soup pots, they successfully boost their efforts for boss fights, wars, or just general survival in various desert storms. The applications for this go as far as any soup you can brew, and you can apply the effects of them to other tames and allied survivors. It even works with items such as wyvern milk. They can also brew a specialized healing salve from honey, citrus, and sulfur, which boosts natural regeneration for anything that consumes it. Survivors have used this to help unconscious tames on critically low health heal particularly fast, especially considering that it can be boosted with Daeodon's healing to quickly heal large groups of tames after encounters with broodmothers or a prolounged tribe war. Controls Primary Attack - Head Slam that causes knockback and (65 Base Damage) Secondary Attack - Side Check, Slams Body to the side staggering combatants (30 Base Damage + 3 second stun) Soup Boost - Boost All allied tames in a radius with the effects of whatever soup is in the pot upon its back, extending to everything from Focal Chili to Shadow Steak and Healing Salve (lasts 270 seconds) Gathering Swap - Change gathered material to a specific berry or plant (aka gather only narcoberries, mejoberries, sap, etc.) Gathering list includes Wood Thatch Cactus Sap Narcoberry Stimberry Mejoberry Tree Sap All other Berries Design Diabloceratops Maby Look Something like this, with a large pot of soup situated upon its back.
