  1. Spawns in the wasteland as a rare spawn, around sulphur pools and in medium difficulty areas. Size- Slightly larger than rex and spino. Attacks Bite- A slow bite that deals 3x damage to corrupt creatures, harvests 50% extra corrupt nodules, can harvest stone and damage even metal structures, but deals reduced damage to structures. Toggle Extended Spines- When enabled, replaces the bite attack with spine slash, and reflects 25% damage back to attackers while reducing incoming damage by 30%, but reducing movement speed to half. The rider of Spinax cannot be damaged or dismounted while active. Spine Slash- a 180° slash with hardened spikes, can be aimed forward or backwards, deals 2x damage to corrupted creatures and does not damage any structures, including OSD and element node. Jump/Slam- Despite its size, Spinax can jump, and decently high too. While airborne, this key can be pressed again to make the Spinax focus its weight downwards, slamming into the ground for big aoe. Deals 2x damage to corrupt dinos, and deals damage a second time near the feet where it lands. The shockwave does not damage structures, including osd or element nodes. Sonic Roar- Aesthetic roar, but deals damage to corrupt dinos around it and slows them. Spine Fling- Throws a pair of spines from its tail, damaging enemies with the tail whip, but not structures, including osd and element nodes. The spikes themselves deal 5x damage to corrupt dinos. Abilities Corrupt Enticement (Passive)- Upon killing corrupt creatures, Spinax infuses corrupt nodes into its skin, extending the range of if its attacks (except bite) and gaining a buff to movement speed and stamina regen, lasts 30 seconds after killing a corrupt dino, regenerates 2.5% maximum health over every 15 seconds while active Heavyweight- Spinax cannot be knocked back, and can harmlessly knock around smaller creatures to move unimpeded when sprinting. Heavy Armor- Spinax cannot be outfitted with a saddle, but it possesses a hard exoskeleton that has a base 50 armor, increasing 1 armor for every 2 levels the Spinax has, but this respects server armor cap. Immune to sulphur burns and reaper acid blood. Has a turret mode, where the Spinax will be in a constant extended spines state, and automatically spine slash at enemies that get too close, but otherwise will not move. Taming Method- Spinax is peaceful with non corrupted creatures unless provoked, but don't seem to care about survivors unless they hold black pearls, in which case it will become aggressive when close. To tame one, you'll need to calm it down by using the aroma of a rare flower... They actually find the scent very soothing! With the rare flower debuff active, a survivor can passive feed them a black pearl, allowing the tame progress to begin. After being fed a black pearl, the Spinax can be continously passive fed, but only while the rare flower buff is active, you'll have to survive anything else that comes your way while passive feeding it black pearls. Corrupt hearts can be used instead of black pearls, providing 50% better taming. Roles- Corrupt dino hunter, OSD/Node completer, Corrupt node gatherer, boss fighter, tank, spam clearer, meat shield, damage reflector, travel mount Weaknesses- Has low damage for its size without corrupt dinos around, not great at dealing with ranged or agile attackers, low stamina without corrupt dinos, vulnerable to managarmr freeze, armor doesn't protect from wyvern breath, cannot swim, will sink like a golem(still has oxygen stat). Natural Enemies- Carcharodontosaurus, Managarmr Because it can't be knocked back, Spinax is an excellent defense dino, able to keep enemies away from allies or structures it wants to defend by knocking them back without being knocked around itself. It also can sprint through enemies unimpeded, preventing it from being swarm locked. The spike armor of the Spinax combined with a high health pool means that heavy hitters like the giganotosaurus may possibly end up damaging themselves more than the Spinax by attacking them. Damage reflect does not work against titans though, but does work against bosses. Six spinax surrounding an osd on turret mode could completely block almost every threat to the osd from any angle, granted they're strong enough to survive the onslaught!
  2. Galverpeton is a curious beast, often seen feeding off the charge light provided from glow bugs and charge nodes, these unique reptiles have made their home in the complex tree system of Aberration's blue zone. They are actually quite friendly, but earning one's trust to be your own tame requires giving it a lot of its favorite food, Charge Light. Taming method- Use charge lanterns or light pets with high charge capacity to shine on the Galvero, slowly increasing taming (faster with more sources of light). Another bar begins to fill when light is shined on it, when this bar fills up it will release an Overcharged energy wave that shuts down charge sources in the area, If the charge being used to tame it shuts off, it will rapidly lose progress after just a few seconds. Make sure to time your lantern or pet shut offs to avoid being crippled by the charge emp wave, and keep up your taming progress and you'll have your very own climbing, healing, charge disabling, and energy-spitting friend to help you on aberration! Spawns in Blue Zone, clings to tree branches or ceiling, tamed by hitting it with constant charge light while avoiding light surges that drain active light sources. Size- about trike size, longer but shorter Attacks Headbutt- harvests fungal wood and mushrooms/berries. Charge Up- Rapidly increases charge amount, siphoning charge from nearby sources and increasing speed while channeling. Rapidly heals and regens stamina when near sources of charge light while channeling. Using this skill while charging disables the charge glow, stopping seekers from aggroing and disabling other charge related abilities until activated. (Normal- charge light active, use once to activate charge up, use twice to go dark). Light Surge- Releases a wave of light around it that travels farther the more charge it currently has, the light wave blinds those affected, and deals damage to seekers, reapers, and nameless. Also overcharges things powered by batteries, disabling battery operated devices for 5 seconds. Charge Bolt- Spits out an explosive bolt of charge energy that deals triple damage to nameless and reapers. Cannot damage structures. Charge Healing- Radiates a glow that wards off nameless, attracts seekers, and consumes 10 charge energy every 0.25 seconds to heal 1hp to every ally in range, the heal increases to up to 10hp every 0.25 seconds the longer this ability is held. (Needs very high charge capacity or several light sources to drain to achieve max healing) Toggle climb- Enables or disables climbing Abilities- -Leg membranes negate fall damage and allow fast swimming -Passively charges overtime, consuming some extra food. Can charge up charge batteries in inventory. (And drain them to promote self regen when Charge Up is active) -Good mushroom harvester, has 50% weight reduction for rare mushrooms, fungal wood, and aberrant mushrooms. Also harvests double nameless venom. -Immune to radiation, cnidaria toxin, plant z stun, electrophorus, and reaper caccoon acid. -Moves faster when climbing, and can fit through small gaps about the same height as a raptor. -Has a turret mode, will heal when enemies aren't in range, will fire charge bolts when enemies are in range. Roles- Harvester, ranged combat mount, traveling mount, egg hunter, nameless hunter, healer, charge manipulator, base defender. Weaknesses- head to head combat, fast climbers, flyers, baryonyx, ranged damage, torpidity(has very low torpor), low health scaling, relies on charge light Natural predators- Basilisk, Reaper Queen, Seeker, Baryonyx, Spino, Megalo, Rockdrake, Ravagers
  3. Zennahoj that sounds like a cute shoulder pet version of my arkified creature
  4. One of the largest arks, and one with the largest stretches of land, there are many things to see on Ragnarok, and many dangers scattered around the various biomes. One creature however, has adapted to live comfortably in any of the many environments on Rag, and has worked its way up the food chain not through brawn, but through intelligence. Introducing Caudipteryx! One of the most intelligent, diverse, and surprisingly ruthless creatures on Rag! Caudipteryx are medium sized creatures, about the same size as a carno. When wild, they can be found walking, running, flying, or even swimming around, often hunting smaller creatures- or avoiding larger ones. Though they usually see a survivor as food, the intelligence of this creature isn't to be underestimated. If they sense danger or take too much damage, they'll simply run away. Likewise if they observe survivors cooperating with other creatures, it can peak their interest... Just don't get too close to one, or you'll be faced with their razor-sharp beaks and the weaponized feathers on their necks. Taming method- Caudipteryx will become nuetral and avoid, but watch the player if they have a shoulder pet. If they observe the player feeding their shoulder pet, they may come close and accept food, though each Caudipteryx prefers a different food, ranging from sarco skin, allo brain, yuty lung, basilo blubber, and tuso tentacles. After feeding a Caudipteryx enough, they will enter a passive state and allow the player to mount them, causing the player to have time exact key presses to avoid being thrown off. Survive the ride and you'll earn the trust of the Caudipteryx to be your own. Abilities Bite- Their sharp beaks can harvest wood, berries, meat, and have an affinity for gathering special drops. Defeating a creature such as a sarco with the bite attack has a chance to double the tribute items you receive. Double Jump- Caudipteryx are able to do a sort of double jump by flapping their wings, and attacking while airborne causes them to slash at the ground, dealing extra damage while avoiding the attacks of other creatures. Flight- By holding spacebar, Caudipteryx can fly and glide, though these actions use a lot of stamina. Swimming- Caudipteryx are excellent swimmers, and have adapted to be able to breathe underwater, still able to bite and use their feather projectiles underwater. They can even harvest pearls! Feather Throw- Caudipteryx can aim and fire off the feathers from their necks, which are surprisingly durable and sharp! Being struck with a feathery slows and bleeds those hit. Defense Mode- Caudipteryx are intelligent enough to be excellent defense creatures, you can mark an allied tame or player, yourself, or your own structures in defense mode, and even help your Caudipteryx record a path if you want to. By default, Caudipteryx will remain still around their marked target, but if they sense any hostility toward the target, they'll enter a turret mode and fire off feathers at the hostile, they can even shoot down explosives! If they or their target take damage in this state, Caudipteryx will actively attempt to avoid incoming attacks and keep firing their feathers, making them incredibly deadly on defense. If an enemy player or tame gets too close, they'll resort to using their bite and claw attacks, and do everything they can to defend the marked target. If a path is marked, they'll even patrol the path and perform the same actions. Caudipteryx that get separated from their marked target will even automatically make their way back to it. Scout Mode- When commanded into scout mode, Caudipteryx can lock onto any creature, player, or structure and identify levels, health, torpidity, food, and armor levels of their target! When placed on scout mode without a rider, Caudipteryx will enter a form of turret mode and remain still, identifying nearby hostiles by locking onto them and revealing them to allies until the enemy gets too far away. They can't detect multiple creatures like a parasaur, but the target they lock onto will be permanently visible to their allies until unmarked! Crouch- While on the ground, Caudipteryx can crouch very low to the ground and use their flexible limbs to sort of "slither" forward. They can fit through crouch spaces! Passive Defense- If a creature tries to dismount their rider, be it a flyer, purlovia, or even a thyla, Caudipteryx will instead launch an automatic counter attack and stun the offending creature. And the last ability of Caudipteryx, is their rest ability! Caudipteryx feathers, just not the ones on their necks, are very soothing and soft. If a Caudipteryx cuddles up to an allied player or dino and uses their rest ability, all the allies in range will start to get a slight healing buff, and players will be completely insulated from the elements while nearby! If Caudipteryx has extra food, it will even feed starving allies by 10 food points to prevent them from starving to death. And that's it for Caudipteryx, all terrain and with many uses, I hope you like them! The image is an ai generated representation of what I think they should look like.
