  1. so with that nat message and having the map revert back to the island, what you need to do is start single player on the map you want to host, so extinction, once you load in, you can back out and then should be able to host a dedicated on extinction. if you want to change maps again, you'd have to load that map in single player first then back out and run the dedicated. it's super annoying, but that's wildcard.
  2. I think there was a post about running a command to get it to show, I think on the second page of this post. And I guess it wouldn't matter, just something that all your servers have access to is really all that's needed. just put the network drive location in the cloud part of the config file. Are you trying to run them both on the same PC?
  3. So I just killed some spinos, which are classified as huge and didn't once get either ambergris or a magma egg, so it should be good. as for the health, yeah, I'm still looking into that as well.
  4. Okay that's what i found as well but just wondered. ConfigOverrideSupplyCrateItems=(SupplyCrateClassString="DinoDropInventoryComponent_Carnivore_Huge_C",MinItemSets=1,MaxItemSets=2,NumItemSetsPower=1.0,bSetsRandomWithoutReplacement=True,ItemSets=((SetName="Fert Magma Egg",MinNumItems=1,MaxNumItems=1,NumItemsPower=1,SetWeight=500,bItemsRandomWithoutReplacement=True,ItemEntries=((EntryWeight=250,ItemClassStrings=("PrimalItemConsumable_Egg_Cherufe_Fertilized_C"),ItemsWeights=(50),MinQuantity=1,MaxQuantity=1,MinQuality=0.1125,MaxQuality=1.125,bForceBlueprint=false,ChanceToBeBlueprintO
  5. How do you keep the eggs from disappearing when they are dropped?
  6. I agree with the non-dedicated hosting, the tether is a pain, and I was only playing with one other person. I also ran a win10 server for about 6 months and loved it, mostly. After our last map I did decide to go with a nitrado server, as we were going to start fresh and I wanted the server to be up more of the time and also be able to attract more people. I will also give a shout out to Beacon app, as it's been super useful in configuring the settings.
  7. The game should save automatically to whatever profile you use to host the server. So, unless you're switching hosts each time, it should save. Or maybe if you didn't play or let the server run long enough it might not have saved.
  8. If you uploaded your character on CI, then you would be able to just create a new one on Ext, that way you would still have your old character. Or just leave your CI char on CI and start a new one on Ext.
  9. The closest I got when running win10 servers was someone had made a program that would upload the map, obelisk, and character files to drop box, then you could run it on another computer and kind of sync them up. Though it wouldn't work on your server on your xbox, since you would need access to the files and such. I ran a win10 server for like 6 months and at first it was nice but after a while I wanted access to a few of the other settings that weren't on win10 servers, and I wanted the ability to actually cluster servers.
