  1. Which platform are you on? I'd love to potentially trade sometime if you're on PC!
  2. Currently my best stats (pre-imprint, of course) are: H: 2392.1 S: 1575 O: 690 F: 6762 W: 522 M: 352.7 Always looking to improve on that if anyone is looking to trade.
  3. I admit the Pelagornis isn't for everyone, but we really enjoy ours: We do a lot in the water, so having a mount we can fly in and land in a water pen and dismount directly into the water is phenomenal. Swim back up under it, mount, and leave. I've used it to kill Alpha Raptors in a pinch. No joke. Granted, finding one with 404 base melee has helped tremendously with that. They do gather Organic ridiculously well. I can't deny that the mantis on SE are faster, but you don't have to transfer back and forth to capitalize if you just need enough to make up a set of Ghillie or something. They look great in Cherry Red. Supposedly, we'll eventually be able to use fishing rods off of their backs. Their maneuverability will make them far better than a boat. They're quick on the water with a few points into speed (or an imprint). Because they aren't (typically) built for combat, you can afford to dump points into weight and stamina instead of health and melee. Still not going to be using them for farming metal, but transporting things around the map (moving eggs from base to blue obby on the Center for trading, for example) is a breeze. They can squeeze through a doorframe with a door attached, just as long as the door is opened IN. They can attack while on the ground in the same vein as the Tapejara and Wyvern. Good for harvesting baby dinos you don't want...and they won't eat the profits so you can cook up that prime. They make adorable noises.
  4. PvE or PvP? If there hasn't been a death message and the server hasn't restarted yet it could still be under there. In PvE you can sometimes use the K-orbital camera to get a view under the map and with some creative whistling and a Ptera get them to follow out (you mount and climb higher, they try to follow up in a straight line and pop out of the ground). We actually had a Pelagornis clip through the map after being picked up by a tamed Megalosaurus for fun and it wouldn't acknowledge the ground at all. Uploading and re-downloading him got him back on solid ground, thankfully.
  5. Yep! We've been pumping our egger troodons in food just to make maintenance easier (same strategy we took with our achatina, since paste and organic poly are light and the paste is capped). I just hope whatever is coming that uses troodon egg kibble will be worth the pain to actually get the little bastards.
  6. Had one spawn on top of our building, wiping out about half of our greenhouse before managing to clip through the base and kill off all but one of our Archa (no huge loss, just frustrating) and destroy all of our stockpiled supplies from Scorched Earth to keep our whips and things repaired. Lost the bookcase we had some of our Scorched blueprints in as well, so I guess we better not die with this stuff since we can't replace it now... I agree with the above posts. Allos need to be disabled until a fix is in place. This is the only dinosaur that does this crap, why is it so difficult to fix? This first popped up at the end of July. It has been almost 6 months from then and still nothing despite how gamebreaking they are.
  7. I just had a level 5 Tuso we were experimenting with lose interest in the animal in its clutches and grab me as well, resulting in a 150 perfect mosa stuck in some rocks with exactly the same side effects you list. Fingers crossed we get as lucky as you did. In the meantime, we definitely won't be messing with squid... Update: A small patch freed our Mosa just as it did your Plesi. Thank goodness!
  8. A while back a way to freeze a baby as a baby was mentioned for Tek tier. Will this still be coming and if yes, will this be a way to draw out imprint times to make it less punishing for advanced tribes? For example, can I put the Quetz I'm imprinting in stasis until I can log in again? Is anything in the works to get water veins and water wells functioning in PvE Scorched? I totally get the need to keep people from blocking them off completely, but as it stands they're useless. Any chance to get a toggle in the radial menu of a Wyvern to switch special and alt fire and have their controls line up with other flyers? (C for special, right-click for pick-up) Would implementation of a way to switch chat view to tribe-only, local-only, and local+tribe-only be possible as a means to filter out global? Are there plans to fix the exploit involving Wyvern milk having no expiration timer when stored in the Obelisks? Are there plans to reevaluate the block on building near supply drops or at the very least the size of this restriction in PvE? 14 foundation diameter is a bit extreme when you consider how many drop locations there are. Would it be possible to change the supply drop system to be random locations and have them detect structures to always stop on top?
  9. Good grief have I got a short list for this! A while back a way to freeze a baby as a baby was mentioned for Tek tier. Will this still be coming and if yes, will this be a way to draw out imprint times to make it less punishing for advanced tribes? For example, can I put the Quetz I'm imprinting in stasis until I can log in again? Then some TLC questions: When will water veins/wells in PvE be usable with pipes? Any chance to get a toggle in the radial menu of a Wyvern to switch special and alt fire and have their controls line up with other flyers? (C for special, Alt for pick-up) Would implementation of a way to switch chat view to tribe-only, local-only, and local+tribe-only be possible as a means to filter out global? Are there plans to fix the exploit involving Wyvern milk having no expiration timer when stored in the Obelisks? What creature would I most like to see? That would have to be Sinoconodon - I think it could be an interesting addition to the Redwoods.
  10. At least from what I've seen, you can drink from a well or fill a Morellatops from it whether it is locked or not (owned by anyone). By all means, let people drink from them in PvE, or come up with an alliance build option so that allied tribes can form communities around veins.
