It sure does remind me of the little horned toads that we used to play with when I was a little girl. Except for the tail and claws almost make me think of a sabertooth and the spikes look like they are from a porcupine. It looks extremely scary. I can say that for sure!

After you tame a little beetle, just put a large and a medium (have not tried other amounts or sizes yet) poop in its inventory. After about 30 or 40 minutes go back and look in its inventory and be very very surprised. -
Okay.. now that we have had some time to actually see these little beetles for ourselves.... THEY ARE SO AWESOME! We spent this evening taming five of these guys and thought they were very easy to tame. But it was when we looked in their inventories later is when we really got excited! WOW! They only need a few poop in them and they make six fertilizer and ten oil. NO MORE THATCH and no more running around picking up tons of poop! Way to go developers. You have hit a home run with this one!!!

Okay... clarification time. I am hearing that the beetles don't eat poo in our yards but a picture is being shown here to make us think that they do? We don't want people throwing a bunch of stuff out there that is not true. Does anyone know any info that is actually fact yet? LOL

I was hoping that would be the case but I saw this. Survivor, 3yerrt asks, “Will we have a desert biome on the current ARK?” and Jat repied with this: There’s going to be a massive desert.

I love these digests! So much great information. I am very concerned about where the desert biome is going to be. We have our huge base just east of the snow biome now and because of all the talk of the snow biome growing larger, we thought it might be better to move more south and west. Now I am wondering if we are moving right into the area for the desert! I think I would rather stay where we are if that is the case. Is there any way that you guys can release a map showing an approximation of where the desert is going to end up?

What a wonderful time we had last night. There were over 60 people on our official pve server! We waited patiently for the ball to drop at midnight and when nothing happened, we all started telling ARK stories and jokes and really got to know each other better. When the ball finally dropped all the way into the water, there were fireworks, some amazing music and a great announcement from Studio Wildcard wishing us all a Happy New Year! WOW! You guys did such an excellent job and all of us on official pve server 374 were just ecstatic to be a part of the wonderful event. We know there are going to be bumps in the road but we are here to help smooth those bumps out. Here's to a great year ahead!

Oh my goodness! I need a dodo!! I am going to be a good survivor for sure! I want to have a visit from Raptor Santa. I wonder if he can fit down our new fireplace chimneys!
