Since the update that added the winter wonderland mod, i'm having a lot of time outs. I'm playing on official servers. It starts to log, i can see parts of my base and tames render, my char is often on the ground/water below the base and then it bumps to the login screen with a message of "time out". I guess they set the timers shorter and with the slow servers i'm getting hit often with the time out. Is there anything that can be done to resolve this? Surely these time outs would put more strain on the server than a longer time out setting, since each time the server starts to send me all the rendering info over and over again.

One of many, also: Do not use cryopods on therries and mosshops, or any other dino that has harvesting levels. The cryopod wipes those and you don't get them back. !

That release note is not correct, cryopod can not be released near enemie is also on PVE!

As the title says, when i try to unpod something in my base, near an active cryofridge, the message "near enemy" pops up and i can't unpod anything. This is on PVE and they said we wouldn't get that limitation there.

Now saying that would definately have been an april fools prank.

This is the main reason most won't go to ASA. There will be no transfers to Ark 2, since that's a totaly new game with new maps and tames. And who wants to start over from fresh for a year or so, not when you have been building your stuff for years? I can understand ASA not being free, and i would be willing to pay for that since it includes Ark 2 in the future, but i wll only do that if i can transfer at least my characters and tames to ASA. (Only as a one time transfer.)

I tried taming several hawks, it's near impossible now on official servers. At X2 rates i got about 0.4% taming from a parasaur. In that valley there isn't much wildlife around and no big creatures like bronto's or paracers. The decay on the taming seems very high to, by the time i killed a second parasaur (which took less than a minute) the taming had dropped to 0.2%. This was on a lvl 95 hawk, and it was the only one around. I was realy looking forward to the Fjordhawks, it was my most preferred tame from the new map. Seems like i'll have to "buy" one now from the few that did manage to tame some early on with the rock elemental trick.
