(Official Crystal Isles) Refreshed the bases. Breeding Therizinos and rexes every other day. So today is a Therizinos day. Tomorrow will be rexes. Trying to get the army built up. (Official Gensis 2) Had a neighbor decide to give up Ark at least for a while. I messaged him when he announced it if he wanted to merge tribes after everything was given away with the offer if he decided to come back it would still be there. Early in Gensis 2 the two of us would constantly pass each other between grabbing metal, doing meat runs, taming dinos. And I didn't want to see all the hard work I know he put in to disappear. So he gave all his dinos away except his prize giga and his first reaper and we merged the tribes. Other than that it was typical Gensis 2 stuff. Ran shadowmane alpha now that they don't shock you off of your mounts. Ran a few Velonasaur missions just so it wasn't all shadowmane. Did tame a max level drill and saddle bag strider for my tribe level 50 lol. I know not that high but better than the level 15s we had tame before. And breed the shadowmane to try and get mutations. No luck so they will be raised and given away or sold for cheap. *Edited to fix some typos.

(Official Crystal Ilses) Refreshed the bases and bred the Theris again. Three eggs only 1 female o well knew it would take a while. (Official Gensis 2) Mainly maintenance stuff. Started building a water presence in the trench. Metal ocean platforms with ceilings 3 walls down to allow future breeding spots for water tames. Placed a tree platform in the redwoods in the south east of Eden along with taps. Getting ready for when transfers open up b whenever. And Allos I had the same fear about wild gigas myself and I commend you on actually testing it first. I used just a clone on my first kill. I don't know if they have nerfed them from what they originally did or what, but with a decent saddle and decent melee even a nonimprinted giga can kill up to a 100 on official. 100 was just the strongest I fought with the clone before I had my imprinted one.

(Official Crystal Ilses) Didn't really do much got a few female Theris from the first mating session. Hatched them and raising them with the best males I had left. Made a bunch of med brews. Finally have a line on an alpha dragon fight that will get me the important tek I still need transmitter, teleporter, and the rest of the armor. So prepped the brews and a good set of flak armor. Breed the staples. Been a bit more selective of what hatches now that I have a starter batch in place. (Official Gensis 2) Still recovering from the mesh. Birthed and raised the Reaper during two times along with hatching an egg we had of my old giga. Got the imprints needed during the Evo event just have to finish raising it. Which if there is no event this weekend will be Monday. So while I'm waiting on it to raise I took the clone of my giga out to do the velo mission. I forget how much imprints help. 4 or 5 extra bites per wave, 5000 less health, the walk speed lol. Completed it with no problems but I'll probably just wait until the other one is an adult.

(Official CI) Fully raised my female theris. So now starting the breeding program to have fighters for alpha dragon. Breed the gigas, Manti, rexes, abs small wyvs for eggs. (Official Gensis 2) Got arked......was hunting over for snails when I got pulled off my shadowmane by a carniflower. Upon jumping out of its jaws I got meshed into a rock. Lost my giga, almost max chibi,and some really good tek armor. So won't be running missions for a bit while I raise my next giga. I did have another reaper baby though and my tribemate got us two Mantis clones.

(Official CI) Refreshed the bases. Did a meat run and while it was all cooking did a berry run to start raising babies. (Official Gensis 2) Bred gigas and shadowmanes. No mutations on either but another female giga with all the top stats. Male egg will be cooked down and the shadowmanes will probably be moved off after they are raised. Cloned a organic poly gacha from a server mate so have been feeding it all of the useless mission rewards to stockpile poly for builds.

(Official CI) Started the transferring of items from one of the lesser used bases so I can let it despawn. Also began raising babies for boss fights. (Official Gensis 2) Went down into the depths to get some biotoxin. Not high enough level to use the tek bow so figured my 299 long neck and shock darts would be my best bet for the knock out missions. Wish there was more to do in the depths it's really cool looking. But like every other map water is an after thought. Was finally able to beat the Enforcer mission (I don't want to speak to how many times I failed it). So that leaves the knock out missions and the other missions that teleport you out.

Like Allos style so I'm going to steal it. (Official Crystal Ilses) Still breeding everything once a day to rebuild populations. Refreshed all the bases. Though I am thinking of letting one of them despawn (after clearing it out of course). (Official Gensis 2) This one is a lot longer lol. The shadowmane army is starting to develop. Have gotten pretty lucky with mostly female birthes and a set of twins with all the best stats so I have the start of my breeding line. Did some event Maewing hunting because I have fallen in love with the little chimera. Got quite of few decent leveled event colors. Me and my tribemate experienced our first Reapers. They are interesting. We each have fully raised one. I have a second one and adolescent and he is pregnant with his second. Have been doing a lot of the Velo missions once I realized how easy alpha is. Still need to do at least the gamma missions so we can do our first ascension. That's all for this update.

Haven't done much since the last check in. Did a few of the hunt missions on Gensis 2. Didn't really get anything good, but I did get a purple titanosaur saddle. I didn't know you could get those. Other than that we cloned our gifted female shadowmane after having it mate. It birthed another female so we are slowly working on building an army of them.

So the past two days was spent using the most of what I thought was the end of the event. Gensis 2) Mainly hunted down alphas for prime meat. Breed our 2 gigas. Unfortunately all had the low level stats so will be turned into kibble. And our builder was able to talk some servermates into making us a skiff. And the tribemate of the guy gifted us a female baby shadowmane. Finally have our cloner and teleport going so cloning our female giga (so we can make more than an egg a day) and plans to clone the shadowmane so it can breed with our male. Crystal Isles) About two weeks ago our bases got arked hard. Was a day behind refilling all of the generators. In that day every cryofridge except for 5 lost 30 days of use. So pretty much all of our breed lines gone. We had lines of Gigas, Therizinos, Thyas, Rexes, Blood Wyvs, Lightning Wyvs, Argies, Featherlights, Yutties, Otters, Ankies, Basilosaur, and my pet project of Dire Bears all lost. Thankfully of those 5 cryofridges were my everyday use dinos, our breeders personal cryofridges, and a cryofridge of Rexes. Between eggs I had put up waiting on the event and what was left between the leftovers I have been slowly rebuilding some of what was lost. Yutties, Rexes, Gigas, and Wyvs have had all the females of acceptable stock hatched while the males have been put up for imprints. I have 3 cryofridges full of babies that will be raised. And have to say without the filtering of the incubator and not having to babysit because of Maewings I wouldn't have even tried to recover. They are such a game changer when breeding. Figured I would start adding to this great discussion a) to start adding my post count to get into the trading forum, b) to maybe get some insight into other things I could be doing, and c) I miss writing. So the introduction. I am Bladesong88 and I play official on Xbox. I'm part of a tribe more often than not called Nomads. At our peak we had 7 active members, but for the most part there were four core members and we all had our specialities. One guy was our main breeder/trader, one was our builder, the third was our main resource gatherer, and I did the taming and cave running. Now we are down to two active members (our builder and me hence wanting access to the trade forum). Right now we are active on 1505 Crystal Isles and 1544 Gensis 2. Though we have some leftover dediboxes on 470 The Island. My favorite thing to do on Ark is cave running, taming, and some breeding. I'll actually start tomorrow with the what I did today in Ark because I'm doing this all on mobile and I feel like this is a wall of text.
