Well my idea with it would be a fairly limited range where in my head is see this as a good pvp shoulder pet bc sometimes u run into those players that hide sometimes and with this pet u can easily locate, with this fairly limited range I don't think u can find a base due to how close u would have to be, I do see what u mean tho

A new shoulder pet that can detect enemies like a parasaur, obviously limited range so it's not crazy, and similar activation to a light pet if that's possible
