  1. Slightly off-topic because I told my Discord circle about this critter: I'll repeat what I said in the previous vote; At first, I didn't vibe with the creature at all. But now I'm smitten with it. And that's because you put a lot of thought and effort into Mira's abilities. If it wins, I'll name one after you. I'm impressed with it's abilities. I hope it wins.
  2. Although it technicallly doesn't 'belong' in Aberration, I do believe it should be in the game. When I first saw Mira, I did not vibe with it all. (Maybe because of the early art made for it) I'm looking forward to see if the Mira makes it 1st or 2nd place.
  3. WHOOOO GIANT CHICKEN!! LET'S GOOOOO That was my second pick in the vote! I can hardly wait for it to be added in the game.
  4. Although I'm happy Fasalo won because I'm tired of seeing the Giant Beetle. This does feel suspicious somehow. Prior to the second and final voting round, Moa and Gigantoraptor had the most votes and replies. If you recall the previous vote and the Rhyniognatha winning, there was hype for Panthera Atrox alongside Gorgonopsid. And get this: Allegedly, some of the votes Atrox got are from someone's OnlyFans subscribers. No joke. But the big cat didn't win fortunately, so Rhynio swooped down and stuck the landing as the winner of the vote. But then you have to wonder if Rhynio did win or accumulated votes fairly. WildCard does need to look into this and use a different and more secure voting system. This is shady. So shady in fact that the cold nights on Scorched Earth are lukewarm compared to this.
  5. You know, that'd be on brand. Considering one of the proposed utilities for the Fasalo is vicegripping rock golems.
  6. YES! Although Fasalo is a bit much for my taste, I'm happy it won! Congrats to this big beastie from the late Triassic! I'm honestly excited to ride it. Maybe it'll improve Golem taming.
  7. That'd be hilarious. But let's wait and see who will win. We already had a insect win the last vote, so the Bastion Beetle can piss off.
  8. To the people who not only don't want the Moa but also BASH it: Knock it off, we've already had enough negativity thrown towards a creature simply for being "underpowered" or "uSeLlEsS". Let us have this (that is if the Moa wins). You guys almost had the Hatz, Gorgonops, Bastion Beetle or whatever animal that you wanted so badly but didn't make it to the finals. Don't ruin it for PVE players or Ark breeders who want creatures like the Moa, or the freaking Bison that's bashed to hell and back. And remember: WildCard studios will nerve PVP-oriented creatures. Heck, they might get nerfed to the point that they're so weak that they're as useless as the Moa. Not even melee, stam, or health mutations can save them from lack of utility. If I were you, I'd save your b*tching till the end of the finals. Alright, rant over. _ _ _ Cap, I have my favorites, but dang your submission is darn impressive. You have my support, and the Moa has my vote! I'd be flabbergasted if it wins and ends up in the game. I'm looking forward to the results.
  9. I was salty when the giant Steppe Bison didn't win, and I'm still pissed about it. I was dreading how awful the Charchar would be if it had the previously-speculated bite cooldown. The Charchar is the final creature to be added in Ark 1, I hope the people who voted for this guy are happy now. And the lot relentlessly bashing this dino on Twitter can stuff it. Ark 2 is coming, but that won't be until 2036.
  10. P R E A C H. I missed the entire Love Evolved event last year when I suddenly broke my leg that week. It was painful and depressing.
  11. WildCard studios; As if you couldn't stoop any lower, you took a piece of someone's culture that's sacred to them, and you reduced it to a offensive joke. And one of the new chibis you put the Native headpiece on is a bloody MONKEY, of all the animals to choose from it had to be a bleeding MONKEY. Enjoy getting cancelled, WildCard. Good luck trying to justify this. You'll need it.
  12. I may have lost my gear, my podded tames, and items that were in my inventory, it was all worth it in the end. At the end of the day, money was raised for sick kiddos. And a surprising huge amount too. I'm proud to have played Ark Official in it's glitchy state during a important annual event. Next year I'll start contributing to this noble cause.
  13. Am I seeing it right? Are we getting a X-Thylacoleo too? To me, the patterns appear to be rosettes. Similar to that of a ocelot or clouded leopard.
  14. I thought the Maewing was going to be small. Small enough to be picked up. Not sure how I feel about it in general though.
  15. I'm excited for this event. Now this begs the question... will holiday themed events still happen on Ark 1 after Ark 2 is released?
  16. I'm excited for this! I love Christmas, and I'll join a PVP Extinction server just to watch players endgame each other over the loot Raptorclaus drops. Like chaotic last-second Christmas shopping.
