    So is there any info on an update for the pc - xbox version of ark? We are losing characters when uploading/traveling maps like the ps4 and xbox had. We literally can't play the game in fear of losing our tribe, tames, progress, etc.

    No. Offical will effectively be 4x always and smalls will be 5x always. So smalls is more than official

    Don't know if you using it but oviraptor's decrease breeding timers and stack up to 2 or 3 times when over encumbered and placed on wandering.
