  1. I was wondering what the point of it was. There is no trace of my original post. Was only questioning the need. I have played Ark a long time and it never needed that kind of function hiding a specific type of unofficial Ark Servers unless it is check. Always been filters that reduced the list.
  2. The player created servers button is an unneeded addition, It would have been in ark a long time ago if its only purpose wasn't to make player hosted dedicated unofficial servers less visible. Work around is load singleplayer, Press the "~" key then type " open IPaddress" Example open 216.134.226.143:7779 . The need information can be found on the battlemetrics server list until they figure a way to block them from collecting the information.
  3. All I see is gripe about a lot of things that has been resolved. The game is buggy it is ark, the phrase "I got ark 'ed" did not come from a perfect world. I hate the fact you cannot mine metal on the main metal mountain without getting stuck in the mesh by land. As far as servers it is fixed people and communities can host their own on their hardware regardless if it is rented or not; the only thing still under exclusivity is renting a dedicated Ark server. So what is your point about $10,000? I just want a full fledged event and not a half cooked Turkey... Its Dec 2 and still no Turkey. Just keep in mind we want things to be successful, because if it is not you can forget the DLCs and we will have lost the most economical time waster most of us have been a part of in our lives. We could be spending $$$ on dinos like SC players buy ships. Remember you love the game or you would not be here.
  4. Xbox delayed more than once. Ragnarok is a prime example of Microsoft dragging its heels. As for being thankful for console adopters, I am, But that does not change the reality that console game players are not the best or fastest testbed for new content or to find and fix bugs. Wild Cards problem is once the game full released they quit testing Beta content among the wider community.
  5. You do realize PC has always been the testbed for Ark as Microsoft and Sony have to sign off on patches. By releasing it on PC first then console you get fewer bugs and patches before the game is stable and enjoyable. As far as delayed release not being set as an expectation for consoles, Suck it up, because of consoles we have not had a proper full-scale holiday event since full release on Steam PC. Every Holiday event since release has been lackluster or canceled altogether.
