Not sure why people keep saying "rates haven't increased" despite there being several very clear mentions (in-game and in the community crunches) that the rates were increased to 2x for a tiny bit BEFORE they became the default with the help of an event.

Leading up to the event, they had a 2x event active, so you won't notice any change. However, the evo events will probably be 4x (given the old rates) while now it is 2x. As for the people complaining about updates, do you know of another game of this scale, with this many types of assets that has smooth updates on each server and overall? Pretty great how people can complain about a few minutes late update or losing stuff to it; just stop what you're doing 30 minutes before it and relax. As far as I'm aware, they don't say "we'll be back in 15 minutes exactly so you should be fine", so simply don't expect it.

Usually the servers suffers when there are excessive structures and such, so what can they really do? Wipe a tribe for having too many structures or too many dinosaurs? It would be extremely unfair to punish one tribe even if they could be causing the issue.
