  1. I understand limiting dino spawns can be somewhat handled by lowing the percentage chance they may spawn as well as lowing the percentage of the overall count they can make up. I also know that other dinos such as Titanosuar have a had cap limit of 3 on most servers. If we use a mod and it has an over abundance of giant turtles spawning, I would like to be able to set a hard cap of 10 giant turtles, instead of having 400 running around the lake in Valguero. I thought I saw once how to do this and checked my old ini files but am unable to find it via google or may own files, any help wou
  2. Not that this at all answers your question, but... we use Custom Dino Levels by KitzyKatty and it works well and has 3 settings to choose how you wish for it to work. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2182894352
  3. Where are update notes for prim+ ?
  4. Paragraphs are your friend. Atlas was rumored to be the next hot thing that people would run to, that worked out wonderfully. Ark is a game, a flawed game that is fun for many different styles of gamers as it is a sandbox and allows you the ability to have your own server configuration and hosting. Wildcard is in the business of making games, as Ark is nearing its end of life as far as product sales, it would make sense that Wildcard would attempt to make the best next game that they are capable of making in order to create as many future sales as possible. Ark is not a subscripti
  5. We have always loved prim+ and wish they would spend just a little time polishing it and fixing some of the bugs on it. We do not play it often because it is so frustrating at times due to coding errors. If it were treated with a little respect it could be a fun alternative back to basics type Ark game.
  6. Thank you so much, on island I had the 3 different types in 3 different containers so was no overlapping and did not run into this issue.
  7. Gasbags spawn just fine but I am unable to get the Velonasaur to spawn on Scorched Earth. I have Crystal Wyverns, Gachas and snow owls on the Island just fine, but for some reason in desert having issue with Velonasaur. I can manually spawn one. Any ideas would be appreciated. **From Wiki** admincheat SpawnDino "Blueprint'/Game/Extinction/Dinos/Spindles/Spindles_Character_BP.Spindles_Character_BP'" 500 0 0 35 admincheat summon Spindles_Character_BP_C ** ConfigAddNPCSpawnEntriesContainer=(NPCSpawnEntriesContainerClassString="SE_DinoSpawnEntriesBadlands_C",NPCSpaw
  8. Easy way to lower foundations, not as fine tuned as others but easy is as follows. Place down one pillar. While standing and looking in same direction place another pillar closer to you by half a foundation distance. Once those 2 pillars are side by side you can move and look at them. Pickup or destroy first pillar and replace it with another. This will lower it. then remove 2nd pillar and replace it as it will lower it more. Each time place a foundation to side of pillar you just placed to see how low it is. If you place pillars in the direction you are facing you can step them
  9. Not why this got moved to the workshop. I still need to find out if there is a log file I can check upon crashes to help troubleshoot the reason for a crash? In the above instances I ran thru what I considered basic troubleshooting steps but it was not enough so I need to see if there are log files that would explicitly show what caused it.
  10. Never can figure where to put things in these forums. Olympus Map crash on server not on single Area is about loc 30,8 small iceberg area with wyverns. Problem is fly through area will crash to desktop and can not reenter game if did not die and character is still in area. Main Mods, Olympus, Primal Fear, Primal Fear Boss I removed all 3 mods from local pc, reinstalled. Started single player game, added each mod individually, once all 3 were added it worked fine with me flying through the area. Backed up Nitrado server Changed Map from Olympus to something else,
  11. I am building a new server to add to our cluster and was messing around and started it out default vanilla, no mods, no ini adjustments. I went and picked up rocks on the beach as it was my understanding that this would demonstrate current gathering rates. I was picking up one rock per attempt. Is this a valid way to test gathering rates, and if so why am I not picking up 2 rocks? This is on Nitrado.
  12. Ok thank you, that is what I thought but it seemed the jump was pretty noticeable is all and wanted to be sure.
  13. I adjusted them all and for sake of space in this forum I did not post every change, I just raptoring wanted to know which way to go you freaking jerk. 14. We are not using single player settings, wanted to use a little of them on a fresh map for more casual walk thru. Thanks though?????
  15. A friend and I are playing on our private hosted server. We did not want to use the single player settings as we did that once on Xbone dedi and felt too easy and now are on pc. So I looked up the changes that single player settings made and found a page on the wiki. https://ark.gamepedia.com/Single_Player Question is PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[0] Default is 0.2 SP Multiplier is 2.125 which makes the result 0.425 for bump in health for SP settings. If I wanted to just add half the change to our server would the line be... PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[0]=0.312
