It has already been said that officials are being closed when Ark 2 comes out. Cedric has made it very clear in more than one post. "We are putting all the event items into the HLNA store so you can have a last chance to get them all and so that when Ark 2 is released they will still be available to all the people who play on unofficial servers, which we will be keeping on". Keeping the unofficials on. Bc pay-per-month. Officials not staying on. On the plus side, the release of Ark 2 has already been delayed and given the track record of 'major' releases we still have plenty of time left with Ark 1. Fyi - total time of Gen 2 delay ('delay' being defined as "confirmed date" changing from originally announced date to actual date of release) was only just shy of a year. For a single DLC. G2 was announced just over 2 years before it was finally released - the G2 announcement is still available online if you care that much.

Except it has been. I know you like to provoke, but an official announcement has, indeed, been released. The delay has, in fact, been confirmed.

It's already been delayed as of a while ago. It's now (hopefully) around end of Q1 next year.

That's odd, considering it wasn't released on the 3rd at all. That was its intended release date but for those of us who remember it and didn't just Google something the delay was hideous. I mean, my calendar may be wrong but.... it isn't.

See my above post 😉 1) "Sparse" is very different to "completely empty"; 2) It's comforting to know that every single week you will spew forth some inanity with a terrible stink of self-righteousness; 3) I saw no screaming nor any demand for boosted rates. Honestly - scroll up! The ONLY mention of boosted rates is yet another clown criticising people for demanding those rates despite the FACT that nobody has done so here. Erm.... no. It did indeed "used to be" 3 months but has not been that for.... 3(?) DLC's now. I can tell you for a fact that it was changed to 2 months quite some time ago. So no - transfers do NOT open after 3 months. But nice try at being superior on the internet! However, maybe next time you stop and find out the facts of a situation BEFORE you make an arse of yourself in public 😄 Anyway, I'll be off now to go get a life or find some meds in my mum's basement or something equally "edgy"....

This is simply hilarious! "Welcome to another Community Crunch. Soon we will tell you about some things. No Evo. Bye" Seriously? Sooo..... no info? At all? Nothing about the transfers being opened? It's been 2 months (Dec 14th + 2 months = Feb 14th) and as 2 months is now the time period servers remain closed for after their release people are expecting to see them open. OR JUST SOME SORT OF HINT ABOUT WHEN IT WILL HAPPEN WOULD BE A MARKED IMPROVEMENT OVER THIS! Honestly, the continuation of this farcical "weekly info update" is now nothing more than: "Hey, here is yet more stuff people have done that we have had absolutely nothing to do with but will use to pad out the complete nothing it has taken us a whole week to not do". The fact that someone really does get paid actual money to avoid doing anything other than repost fan-art is genuinely shocking.

Wow. Yet another TOTALLY EMPTY Crunch. This has stopped even being unintentionally funny now. Get a grip. It has now been 2 months since LI was released so where the hell are the transfers? Or even - and I know this is going to seem TOTALLY REVOLUTIONARY but - some bloody information about the date? Oh yeah I forgot - it's this shower so I'm just being ridiculous in my wild expectations of some actual communication with the playerbase. What a joke.

Erm... that IS the complaint now. The "community manager" has put out multiple Crunches with NOTHING in them. Not a thing. It is in no way "damned if you do damned if you don't" cos there simply is NO "do". No. They're not.

Yet another week of absolutely nothing. No evo, no anything in the crunch at all. Nothing. "Here are some pictures we had nothing to do with creating and now go do yourselves. Oh, positive vibes and all that crap too". Going to go play minesweeper cos that is less tedious than getting continually fkn kicked out of LI for no reason at all.

How is this Crunch even.... anything? This is just another example of Cedclown doing jack. No EVO, and then.... no anything else. No news, no updates on anything, no apologies for yet again not bothering to tackle the cheating that is becoming a bigger part of this game than the actual game now... The brainstorming session this week: "Hey - here's a GREAT idea for a Community Crunch... let's give them nothing and tell them nothing then just re-post some links to stuff we had nothing to do with creating and call it a win!" How this charlatan continues to draw a pay-cheque baffles me. You can't even ask him questions any more cos as soon as you do he ignores you then you're blocked for not sucking up like a fanboi...

The "event" part is the turkeys etc; the "evo" part is the rates. This means that there will be coloured dino's, chibis etc and the rates during the event will be as posted (x3 on officials with x1.5 on hex's). How is this hard to grasp?

So do I. I currently have just under 200 of them (although that is dropping as now it is x3 they're getting squished) but our tribe cap currently shows 86/500. Know why? Bc cryopods and not selfish/spiteful. Who exactly can "play fine"? People.... on servers that are not G2? Well, as long as they aren't on Lagnaork / Extinction / Aber-render-hell of course. Yes. But then, that isn't the point despite your obvious attempt to sneer at someone with a genuine grievance. You see, the problem here is - it really and factually IS a fundamental flaw in the game itself. The numbers are readily available to be viewed online providing you would actually care to bother to. There is NO G2 server that is not having serious issues and crashing multiple times in every 24 hour period. None. Fact. And even the ones that "only" crash 2 or 3 times per day are in the same boat as the rest with the inability to mate/tame anything except for VERY few instances that are down to luck alone as the thing that does actually manage to mate was ready and something else on that server happened to die or get uploaded at just the right moment. Oh, and just to illustrate this point: One of my G2 servers is now on its FOURTH hardware allocation. It continues to crash multiple times daily and is losing around 4 hours in every 24 and if those 4 hours are in your 8 'Saturday hours' then you are losing 50% of your weekend time playing. Additionally, that server - like all the others - is still a place you can not build on skiffs except very rarely due to someone else's misfortune nor, as I said, can you currently tame or mate etc. On top of that, due to the incredibly bad connectivity half the logged players get randomly dumped out with disturbing frequency. As if all of that were not enough, the saves are now taking anywhere between 30 seconds and 3 minutes (opposed to the expected, and usual for this game, 14-18 seconds) and are not every 15 minutes but.... well it seems to be whenever the poor dying server feels like doing it. That could be 3 minutes between saves or as long as 19 minutes - who knows any more? It has gotten so bad now that I find it un-playable. And that is not "I will not play that as it offends my privilege" it is "nothing responds - commands just do not execute so it is technically impossible to complete simple tasks". Therefore I, along with a good number of people I talk with, am waiting out the event - with its additional strains on the servers compounding everything - on a totally different map despite the fact that this is the complete opposite of what I would wish to be doing because at least that map bloody works!! More or less. So now, please tell me exactly how you think your response is in ANY way at all something that can possibly be viewed as other than sheer ignorance wrapped up in a completely, offensively arrogant attitude. I am simply dying to hear how your appallingly smug, self-righteous comment can be justified in any remotely plausible way.

It is. Nope. "Some" players didn't like something. Very very different from "all the players were robbed" as you seem to be implying here. I mained CI and have several thousand hours on it - still could not care less about griffins. That is due to the fact they are utterly worthless. I was neither "malcontented" nor even slightly aggrieved by the apparent (and until now unknown to many including myself) "CI griffin robbery". On the other hand, reapers are actually both functionally useful and beneficial so, as a result, are worthwhile having.

Sssooooooo...... Everything in this Crunch is, in essence, 100% worthless as the transfers are STILL locked, we are STILL waiting on the rollback/fix which means there is STILL no point playing as everything we have done for the last 28-odd hours and everything from now until they FINALLY fix what they broke and roll it all back again - EVERYTHING done in this period will not count or show up anywhere. WHY are people even bothering to cry about no Evo - you could have x100000 and it would mean absolutely nothing as it will all be as if none of it was ever done when it rolls back. Which may or may not even be this year considering we are halfway through October..... And now to compound the problems we are all having to suffer through - the Fear event is now going to be running ACROSS the Extra Life Event! I mean, how ridiculously and badly planned is this shower? Last year the Fear event ended the day before E-L and it was still a bloody nightmare with performance etc. So now, with the whole G2 farce continuing and turning out to be the best thing possible for new releases like New World etc as people are fleeing Ark to buy & play those games now, they choose to change the dates of the Fear event to run straight through E-L? What - you think it won't be a complete disaster? Are you kidding me?!!?! But no - as usual when everything goes horribly wrong like this, there is NO communication about it from the "community manager" or indeed anyone else from WC. We get a meaningless and really rather ridiculous update but no fix for the broken and stasis-bound game as a whole. People crying over no Evo event when the game isn't even running? Changing dates so as to have Fear running at the same time as E-L..?.... Hahahahahahahaha! The horrendous, yet somehow now incredibly comical, state of this mess is stunning!

I guess breed-able will be noglin (bc G2 isn't broken enough...) and griffin. Why these 2? Because the 2 most wanted / longest asked for are rock drake and reaper - so OFC it will be noglin and griffin! Oh yeah, and "due to popular request" some sort of pointless monkey re-hash will no doubt magically appear somewhere while they're at it. Fix G2? Hard. Easier to just throw fluffy toys out at streamers instead. Meh... Having said that - I would like to thank whoever is responsible for the most recent server patch. Honestly - thank you for this one.

Let's be frank here - you probably have the time to do a degree in micro-electronic design, hand-source the finest materials, design and then manufacture your own gfx card by the time Gen2 gets seen I paid just under £9 for Ark, roughly the same for the 'everything else' bundle and I will be damned if I spend more than that for Ark 2 - if I even bother; cos in all honesty, an Ark with no machines or tek etc is basically Prim+ with added extra Vin Diesel and while I enjoy his films (mostly) that just doesn't sway me. If I wanted to play Prim+ I would have done so already. Sod paying top-whack for an entire (no doubt buggy as all hell for the 1st 6 months anyway) game of the crap! And finally as it is becoming almost obligatory now: *ahem* You nearly had Ark 2? You! Nearly had Ark 2? <sniggers> YOU NEVER EVEN HAD YOUR GEN2!! <holds arms out, swaggers around>

" Ok, so that is kind of terrible news. Yes I did just say "kind of". While I am sure almost everyone will be, completely justifiably, enraged by this I am personally quite happy. You see, some short while ago I was having a chat, a debate if you will, with someone in a Discord about the Gen2 release and I told them quite clearly it would not be in March. No way. As you can imagine, we got a little "into it" and the result was a bet. I held fast to my assertion that in NO way would Gen2 be released in March and would be no sooner than May, if not June and quite possibly even later. They were equally adamant that as it had already been terribly delayed beyond what would be considered 'acceptable' there was no way any studio would let it be delayed further. Therefore we agreed that whoever was correct would receive from the other person the following: 100 large tek walls; 100 tek foundations; 200 tek ceilings; 4 tek dino gates & frames; 4 tek behe gates & frames; 2 tek generators; 2 transmitters; 2 tp's; 2 cloners. Honestly, I CAN NOT FKN WAIT for them to log in when they get in from work cos my new base is going to look awesome!! So a big THANK YOU WC - your continued ineptitude does actually bring great joy to (admittedly very, very few) people at certain times \o/
