  1. Slizarus, I'm curious. Are you having serious spawning issues with dinos in the different biomes? That's another big one people will not stop complaining about. It gets to the point where u cant find a single creature.. Especially in arctic and volcanic. It's nuts. So broken
  2. Bloodstalker taming broken again! DO NOT TAME! -Everyday it's a new problem with stalkers, they are completely ridden with bugs (at least taming them). This isn't another cryfest about how many bags it takes. I've tamed well over 100 stalkers since I got on genesis, trying to get a good line going. Yesterday, the entire day, stalkers would grab you, start reeling, 2-5 secs.... dropped. Over and over, on every stalker. I was only able to successfully be drawn in all the way one time, by dangling with another stalker, about 2 walls height below it. After that, all went back to the same. Additionally, the stalkers that were running around on the ground would actually RUN from me if i went near them, or if i punched them. This is completely opposite of their normal behavior... up until now I was able to tame many on the ground. After a while, i gave up. -Spent the better part of today trying to tame a high level stalker, with 10-12 tames on me - mix of moschops, ovis', frogs and such. Found a 130 above one of my spawn spots, bug repellent and guillie on the entire time. I fed it ALL of my but except 1 dilo (which apparently they will no longer eat. I had 3 out, and no matter what it would not look at them. After the initial start (gave it some bags), fed all the tames... and i scan it, showed 100% efficiency. Then I take off guillie, again kept reapplying bug spray, grabbed 800 bags (just in case- even though we are on 3x). It grabs me fine, starts eating the bags.... rescan as its consuming them.... RESET EFFICIENCY and actually WENT DOWN- from 57.1%- to 55.1. So I lost 2% for feeding it a horde of tames? This is getting nuts. What the hell does wildcard want from us to tame these things? The feeding creature idea was fantastic---- as an idea. It sucks, is boring and isnt even working. It is simply not worth taming stalkers if you are stuck with a junk efficiency. Not if you want any hope of getting stats. Anyone else having issues? This is beyond frustrating... how are we even supposed to know when it's fixed? Or should we just keep taming stuff, feeding it to a spider to end up with a lose ?
  3. Bloodstalker Taming & Behavior BUGGED Hello, Official PVE Genesis. I've been taming bloodstalkers, pretty much exclusively, since i switched over to PC. I've tamed literally hundreds of them, trying to get a bloodline going and mutating them properly for the first time for fun. I'm fully aware of all the updates up until now. All of a sudden, as of today, stalkers just continue to drop me after snagging me. It's borderline impossible to tame them. I actually watched 3 consecutive bloods grab me, drop me.... fell to ground, watching it.... dissappeared. Grabbed by second, dropped, it dissappeared. Rinse and repeat with 3rd. They drop you within 1-3 secs, barely enough to get you much fall damage (although im running max health for bloodbags). The only time you can get grabbed, if you are lucky, is being DIRECTLY underneath them, for any hope they will pick you and not drop you. This is inconsistant with anything I've encountered in the bazillion snags I have had. Up until now, you would only get dropped if you got blocked by something, like a big rock, or those damn mushroom/petals on the side of trees. And even then, they would sometimes pull you for 10-15secs before they let go. I'm literally out in the wide open, no obstructions. This literally just broke in the last 24hrs, I assume there was a micro patch that did this. Oddly enough, their behavior is also completely affected by this when they are on the ground. I had a damn 140 on the ground, where ya know.... they normally chase you. Nope. This one is literally running from me when i punch it. I repeatedly killed myself, restarted my comp, game a few times, everything. Come back on, spider continues just jetting at about 3x normal of what the wild ones do. Normally, if you come near one, they priority aggro you, now? run! WHAT IS GOING ON. HALP
  4. Shadow, as another guy said, GET A REFUND if you can. I do love this game, but it is an absolute mess. I have played wow for many years as well, and Blizzard customer support is bar-none. They are fantastic and fair and actually give a poop about their customers. Wildcard could care less, genuinely. I have played Ark on all maps, from about 1 month into release... And no, not "release date." This game was out for years, literally, before "release." It has ALWAYS been ridden with bugs, some literally still exist to this very day. Some have been taken care of.... some. But do not expect, in any way, that WC cares about us, beyond our payment to them. They just pop DLCs out like candy instead of fixing and polishing their product. The players have become complacent, and at this point, accepting of it. It's pathetic and bothers me to. It's embarrassing to know that the code for any one of these problems could be fixed quickly. This is not a super complicated game by any stretch of the imagination(programming wise, not gameplay). I just this week sent in two tickets over two problems that randomly caused exclusively by the game, glitching multiple non-replaceable tames that had stats I will never see again. I'm talking hundred of hours, taming the same poop to find stats RNG rolled at tame. A sarco is the equivalent of a dodo to most ark players, they are completely antiquated. They are bug-ridden and there are many tames better than them, that aren't "hard" to tame. So the developers probably just left them alone and don't care. If there was a major glitch with a super common tame, like a Rex, they are more likely to fix it eventually. No disrespect to your tame choice, but they are just broken and aren't going to be fixed. If there were one thing I could change, it would be Wildcard selling the game to another software dev, not AAA, but one that actually cares about their product and will clean up this mess, and balance it out. TLDR: Get your refund, you have NO CLUE what you are getting into. Unless you like self abuse, quit Ark. In all sincerity. It's a bug-ridden mess and you will be disappointed a lot.
