    I have a strong feeling you are using a poor translater and thank you for the effort to communicate in english but it seems a few things are getting lost in translation.
    The person responding to you ealier is a volunteer and not a WC employee.
    The sad fact is that WC kind of abbandoned this forum, what used to be their main communication, in favour of Twitter or Discord.
    The modderators here only make sure the forum is used in a decent way, they can't make any official statement outside that scope.

    Would personaly not go for the short breeding cooldown in PvE to prevent your server become a Farmville Boxbunker server.
    The maturation should be so that anyone should be able to grow a fully imprinted Giga solo in a good weekend gaming day.
    Boosting taming more than breeding to encourage people to active play over afk breeding is good.

    Autodecay over 3 weeks is good, we all have a busy week every now and then. Just make the timers more equal, seen servers with 2 weeks on thatch and an eternity on tek. Often the tek players are less active since they feel they have beaten the game already and loose interest.

    And as the other poster said: reusable bolas, like recollecting part of the arrows and parachutes with durability instad of one time use. Torches are repairable already.

    Most convenient without ever becoming OP: Increase stacksizes and make more spoiling items stackable.

    Console framerate

    Let's remind ourselves how fantastic ASE looks on current gen consoles even in performance mode (stable 60 fps), is ASA going to be an upgrade, or a massive downgrade?

    If the dips would be not under 20fps I would considder it an upgrade to be fair. ASE currently runs on the PS5 with fps going all over the place, from decent to negative. Concerning ARK just a stable fps is more important to me than high fps.
    In general it seems that many big titles lately have issues with optimisation on high end PC's while consoles seem to get the better deal if it comes to stability but ASE never got simple things like font size and UI properly set up for a common "on the couch, feet on table, 4K"-console experience. With that in mind my expectations are low.

    From what I've seen so far the building system seems the best upgrade to me but the graphic "upgrade" is all over the place and depending highly on the settings. What most annoys me is that many gameplay footage show the "improved water physics" by making every charactar and dino look like to swim in a milk spill the moment they are in the water.
    Not even mentioning that it seems many of the ASE bugs concerning inventory are still present in ASA, without even the complication of server transferes.

    Tl;dr: Just a stable game with these improved building system and I would be happy. For all I care it looks like Borderlands!

    Sorry man, there are so many contradictions when reading your posts. Earlier you said you wanted to get a PC and now you claim you prefere not to want get involved in PC gaming due to communities? As far as I understood "Star Citizen" and "Elite Dangerous" involve an online community.
    Indeed online communities can be vile, a good example is a certain guy calling out other people as AC gamer or Minecraft player. Personaly I don't play either but it seems there are plenty people that do like them and that is completely up to personal taste.
    So yeah... I can see why the communities turn vile towards you.

    I do vallue a good conversation with a good reasoning but that is the thing that you did not provide yet. Instead you turned rather agressive when people ask you why you do what you and pointing out your action seemed not logic. Again you state YOUR assumption as fact.

    And another tip: You can ignore people, just hit that button if you can't do it yourself. I know I should but I'm just too curious to what moves people.

    I've been playing official until WC abbandoned it earlier this year.
    As we speak I play on an unofficial server now, the "Nightmare" variant: Always night, Pelagornis replaced with Summoners, no insta tame, no fibercraft... Absolutely easy mode!
    But yeah, what would you know.

    Drop the attitude if you only assume how people play a game. You could tell us likewise but keep in mind we just react to what you say about your oewn actions. No one assumed you burn your money (wich is your own good right, stupidity is not prohibited) but YOU announced it.

    In that case why even bother playing on console and not buying a PC - WICH WOULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU INSTANT ACCES TO THE GAME - already ages ago? We all know that ARK always was more playable on PC than on console.

    There is no game like Ark. I find it so fascinating that someone could even be on this site and not understand how much people love the game.

    Why do respond to him different than to me? I called it a dumb move, for the very same reason.
    Anyone that spends that much money to gain just a few days earlier acces to a fun but flawed product should ask himself a few questions. Incase anyone spend over $500 for the same reason on any other game my (and very likely his) reaction would be the same.

    What strikes me more is inspite your appearant love for ARK you didn't follow the news close enough to realize the delay was imminent. Also the insinuation that someone else is "just" higly boosted PvE only player does not make any sense.

    If you are the dedicated hardcore PvP competetive gamer (read: toxic wannabee) why on earth are you even play ARK, with all his flaws and cheats, and not a game that is truly fair PvP without the constant change of rules?

    Yes we can blame WC. This certification is a matter of days, not weeks.
    Both Xbox and PS had a few debacles this generation so we can't blame them not certifying a game wich is likely to cause a flood of reimbursements. Besides, WC had already issues with ASE when people lost acces to the cosmetic MTX on PS. Sony does not tollerate that.

    Failing certification is completely on WC: If they present a working product it WILL get certificated in no time.

    i don't believe that Wildcard is toxic.  quiet and uninformative yes, but toxic no.  and i believe that wildcard is quiet and uninformative because of how toxic the community is every time they do release information.

    No need to turn this around. People were mostly hyped with every farth on Twitter, it was WC that changed the story time after time without communicating in a proper way.

    And WC not being toxic? If I had acces to my history of their custommer support I could show you a few things but the whole Snail power abuse speaks for it self.

    I like a civil but honest discussion without death threads or white knighting. We all know everything and everybody has their or it's own flaws (we like playing ARK,not?) so no need to sugarcoat every thing.

    To those who carried out these despicable acts, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. You all didn't even stop and think that the delay is possibly because the devs are working around the clock to make sure ARK Ascended's release onto consoles is good and polished. Would you rather they released it and just see a bunch of bugs or crashing? PC players had a LOT of issues from the start, so I've seen in various videos across YouTube, and the devs have been working at their best to iron out the bugs and clean the game so it runs smooth and looks good while doing it. Developing a game of this size, beauty and detailing takes dedication, time, patience and perseverance. If you have no appreciation or acceptance for any of those qualities, which all the developers of ARK are teaming with, than perhaps this isn't the community you belong on. I'm personally awaiting its release for Playstation, I'm waiting just as long, if not LONGER than Xbox players, that doesn't mean I'm gonna throw a fit or hold a gun to someone's face and say "Release this or die"! That's just stupid, childish and wrong. It'd be threatening someone if I don't get my way. Actons like that don't make you unsatisfied customers or consumers, that makes you BULLIES.

     

    Remember people... be patient, tolerant, expect the unexpected... but above all? Be KIND to one another, especially the people who create this wonderful game.

    The title is wrong. Very wrong!

    The delay was not sudden, it was hinted by the deliberate vague wording of the CC last saturday. It is also not the first delay. It was, as usual, very poorly communicated. This poor communication is systematic and as ussual the part of this very forum that is desinged for this (https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/forum/6-announcements/&) was "forgotten" or deliberatly ignored, again.

    So the title should be something like "Toxic company and the toxic part of the fanbase you deserve, we need to talk".

    And I hope the people that can behave decent, both fans and devs, can have an open healthy discussion of all things concerning ARK.

    Every ARK player and his mother in law knows already for a few years what deadlines mean to WC and the ultimatly vague wording from this very CC indicated the delay was certain.

    Ps: Hope you bought the Series X and not the One X, at least then you can play Starfield now. By the time it's finished ASA might have been launched.

    What you say was true the last generation but only top tier PC's are significant more powerfull. What you also don't realize is that servers are a bottleneck quit often, so for that there is not a big gap between PC and consoles anymore.
