To be fair, this already did happen in ASE quite often. I stopped wondering why, just seeking a way to make it work. Going near it with another dino is often a solution but even after regaining control it might wander off a bit when dismounting. Just mounting/dismounting a few times, get it on and off following by whistling or manual, checking tamegroups and eventualy it might get back to normal obedience eventualy. Or take off towards 50/50... ARK dino's, almost like real life kids

Ok... I agree about ignoring the childish screechers. That being said: What about the well argumented opinions about failed deadlines and false advertisements? Oh, and who is that small team with limmited resources and funds? WC had a good idea with ARK but a bad attitude with contracts so they fled in the arms of Snail to pay off the lawsuits. No one forced them to go that way but WC's founders. Snail abused all resources in game as well as in company and sold out to Nitrado. Again, no one forced them to do so but their own greedy merits. The core team might be not the largest in the world but the resources abused and wasted were HUGE. Oh, anyone mentioned their failing customer support? Nevermind, I need that copium you got while starting up another round of unofficial ASE and just have fun.

According to your logic, ASE should have died on consoles long ago. As we speak there are more people (still or again) playing ASE on console than there are ASA players. Also, no one forced that deal with Nitrado at gunpoint so they choose to dedicate themselves to that deadline. If indeed they cared about s having fun until they were realy ready they should never had announced the end of ASE servers until ASA was up and running so our choice would show them wich of the 2 we realy wanted. That way my old official tribe and alliance would still have been playing today and even considdered to switch to ASA but now it was just killed.

Try ASE. No bug issues there.

GTA trilogy still wants the rain back they put in to ASE 😝 To be fair they've prooven to handle down ports (like ASE to Switch) pretty decent but still not sure how well they handle full scale projects as they completely wrecked the initial GTA trilogy.

With my post the average total post of posters will be 3x, as used to be the standard for events. For all the "Early Birds": If you are tired of all the bugs, there's ASE. Try it, it's more fun.

Adult life: Announce scedule and stick to it, get angry customers if you fail a deadline or do not deliver as promissed. Grow up, stop wining and do as you prommised. Nothing toxic about reminding them.

ARK used to be in the top 20 on Steam but ASA is falling out of the top 100 every now and then lately while ASE managed to stay in the top 50 most of the time.

Check if your screen is automaticly adjusting size, some tv's tend to stretch to get rid of black bars.

This one is out of WC reach but very easy to solve: Get Steam and a PC or PS5.

Yup, all very valid points wich I also often mentioned in the past, my comment was more on the ASA situation and the old DLC's are included so far. I also kind of mellowed on that for ASE since I got friendly tribes providing me with striders, maewings, incubators and shadowmane breeding left-overs until I finaly paid to win myself into Genesis just before Lost Island dropped... In my defense: My partner made me buy it, I agreed on condition I was allowed to also buy Mad Max or Metro Exodus or something like that. Not a bad deal, right? In my opinion PvE and PvP can be judged same: On PvE shadowmanes were used to push people off platforms to rob their bags when drowned or killed by wilds, spacewhales were used to bluescreen people to drown them or just simply bully them away from the server. PvE has more naughty trolls than PvP since many PvE players are easy victems that don't know how to deal with unseen enemies while honest PvP gives more options to get even. But back on topic: This new system is a new level of P2W, the packs are no longer cosmetic only like the tek skins on ASE. I'll wait till the "definitive final complete edition" with all skins, dlc's, adventure packs and bug fixes. That will most likely be included in Gamepass for PS7.
