(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Went to the Eldritch Isle to tame a pair of featherlights. Used the unicorn because why the hell not. Was lucky enough to find a male and a female, close to each other, with male being 130 and female - 135. Tamed them. Returned to the base, put them in the greenhouse. Took a wyvern and went to get some resources, game crashed, wasn't in the mood to wait through the loading again today, so decided that's enough singleplayer for today. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base. Took a wyvern to fly around a bit. Found a unicorn, but didn't tame because I don't have carrots or kibble (since side-bases are kept small, with only bare necessities, and crop plots, refrigerators, and egg farms are not that), plus I already have unicorns on Valguero - better ones, at that, since the one I found was only level 20. (Official, Extinction) Fed dinos. Due to lags nearly lost my wyvern to my own spike walls. Not fun.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos, bred tek rexes and put eggs in the fridge, killed a 130 alpha carno, didn't have chibi on me, but at least Phobos got some exp. Checked Edgy (my red and black moschops that I tamed during Halloween event) to grab all the fiber he accumulated, turns out he was stuck on the leash's edge for a long while, not harvesting and not in range of the trough, so he only had half food left, mounted him and turned him in the direction of bushes so that he'll be able to wander and feed himself again.

(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Finished the greenhouse. Tamed a dung beetle (red, named Apple), put her (since I use Better Dinos mod, dung beetles aren't genderless on my sp save) in the greenhouse. Finally found a unicorn! Tamed him, named him Everest. He's pretty cool. Gonna find a female for him at some point and breed some unicorns (will have to remember to further adjust breeding times before that, though - it's still a bit slow and I realized that I forgot to alter the mating interval at all). And, well, that's all that happened today.

(Official, Valguero) Did a berry run with Atlas (mammoth), put berries in troughs. Bred tek rexes. Unpodded Marblehoof, put eggs in the hatchery, equipped chibi, took Phobos and went to the Beaver Lake to hunt whatever I'll find there. Spent about an hour killing everything in sight. Found no alphas. Returned to the base. Put meat into troughs. Podded Marblehoof, picked up eggs, logged off.

(Official, Extinction) Fed dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base. (Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Built the greenhouse more, it now has all the crop plots (that's 12), irrigation, walls, and I started building the roof.

(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Found and tamed a female bos (Animals of Atlas mod). Adolescent, unfortunately, so she'll have to grow before she can be useful. Figured out the art of riding a bloodstalker enough to sling to the nearest floating island, then to next, then back to mine. Started building a greenhouse (frame of wooden foundations, center made of decorative foundations from eco's Garden Decor, all set to mud, glass parts not built yet).

(Official, Valguero) Filled troughs with berries, unpodded Marblehoof, equipped chibi, took Phobos and went to Redwoods. Took a look at The Lair, only one Broodmother this time, but while I'm not sure if I need gasmask, I don't want to try and go in without one, so didn't chomp it. Found and killed an alpha raptor and an alpha rex. Phobos got a new level. Got thylacoleo'd off Phobos, the results were somewhat predictable: Phobos went "Om", Phobos went "Nom" and the thyla was no more. And then the game crashed. ... After logging back on, rode to the tundra. Only one alpha carno there, but killing everything in sight gave Phobos plenty EXP, so when I was returning to the base he got another level. Marblehoof 3 hours away from his last imprint. Podded him. Put meat in all the troughs. Added more flowers to the beehives (pretty sure a full stack of flowers used to last longer). Cleaned the inventory of one of my lymantrias of saddles and weapons that I got during Winter Wonderland and never bothered to do anything with, and ground them up. Placed all the mats accumulated in the grinder into appropriate vaults. Logged off.

(Official, Extinction) Finally I logged on to find myself IN the house, exactly where I was when I last logged off! Not on the roof, not on the porch, not in the trough. In. The. House! Fed the dinos. Gonna refresh base on (Official, Crystal Isles) and check if wyverns need more crystals, and then it's enough ARK for today (and yes, it's barely any ARK today, but it's still enough).

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos, noticed I'm low on flowers for the beehives and mushrooms for the trough near gachas, so went to the swamp to get more. 400 mushrooms and even more flowers - I'm not running out any time soon now! Beetles did their thing, so I had plenty of fertilizer to add to my crop plots. Didn't breed rexes today. And that's all.

(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Added Dino Storage mod. Pretty awesome! Went to grab mats (was low on metal, and no poly because I play low-tech, so had to kill some penguins), found a male 145 bloodstalker (I use Cross-Genesis 1, so spiders, swarms, and all happens on CI just fine), started taming, but Shiny! Dinos picked just that moment to turn a nearby raptor into an Enraged one, so I had to fly away, land on a cliff, and spend a whole lot of time killing the raptor because it really wanted to kill me. Me and my wyvern got a ton of EXP from it, which wasn't exactly how I planned to gain new levels, but... Well, I decided to just not learn new engrams beyond the nearest goal (ptera saddle). Naturally, while I was doing that, the bloodstalker already forgot me so I had to start taming again (really glad I used Immersive Taming, and not their vanilla taming method). But in the end I tamed the spider, named him Slinger, and tried to figure out the trick to riding a bloodstalker. And decided that for now he'll sit at my base, because it's just too complicated for me. Also the juvenile ichthyornis starved while I was doing all that. After returning to my base and crafting and installing the Dino Storage Terminal (the "Primitive" mesh fits really well with the house's looks, so that's bonus), I made the saddle for ptera and went to the lower islands to find and tame a better ptera. Found a level 100 female, gray. Tamed. Returned to find my wyvern being attacked by an enraged tapejara. Had to cheat because no way to fight it, and other than killing it (or exiting and re-entering the game, which would turn a wild Shiny into a normal dino, just a very high-level one, but I forgot about that because my wyvern was being killed), there's no way to get rid of it. So I used playersonly and killed it with a command. Also after that changed my settings to lower max possible Shinies (to 26) and their max level (to 250), because that, at least, would make Enraged ones a bit less likely to appear and a bit less troublesome to deal with. After that I took my wyvern and went to look for a unicorn again. No luck, but found a really nice 145 Courser, so I brought him back to my base and tamed him. And that's all that happened today.

(Official, Valguero) Big meatrun, big berry run, bred tek rexes, placed all the eggs, both new and old, (25 of them) into the hatchery, made some shotgun ammo because I'll probably have to kill all the babies (after so many times I don't really believe that a new melee mutation will happen), unpodded Marblehoof to raise him some more. Right now I'm just standing in the hatchery, maybe will actually do things later. Or I wont and will just stand there until rexes hatch. ... Imprinted Marblehoof. 1 imprint left, and I think it might fit into the remaining maturation time. Less than two hours until rexes hatch. After done with rexes, will check on (Official, Extinction) and (Official, Crystal Isles) bases. No singleplayer today, because I've been playing it a lot lately, and sure, it's awesome, but I have other games to waste time pointlessly in, and I've been neglecting them because of that. ... Rexes hatched. Mutations in general: one. Mutations on health or melee: none. Noticed that my plants are almost out of fertilizer, so took the few bits I had in a beetle and fertilized what I could, then loaded the beetles with fresh feces. I just kinda forgot about them and the plants because I rarely tame, so I don't often need kibble, or the ingredients for it. ... (Official, Extinction) This time was in the feeding trough upon logging on. Fed dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base.

(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) The last time ended at me respawning at my base... Which is not exactly the truth. I CHOSE to respawn, but the game froze, computer started lagging, so I killed the game in task manager. So today I found myself alive, near the rex, BEFORE the fight, with my wyvern perfectly fine. I killed the rex and went to fly around some more. I found another wyvern, level 20, dark red, white, and some other red (I have an event enabled, don't remember which one, so interesting colors show up from that too, not just form Shiny! Dinos). Tamed it. Wouldn't have tamed if it was high level (that'd be too powerful to have before I can even ride a ptera). Threw a bait to a level 5 dragon, she took it, but then she noticed me and tried to attack. Very rude. I lured her away and stole her egg. Sure, level 5 is not gonna be any good, but mother has decent colors. Spent some time searching for a unicorn, because Better Dinos turns them into actually useful creatures, so I want one. Didn't find it. Back on my island found a juvi ichthyornis and tamed it because I had some baits left anyway, so why not. Plus I needed an opportunity to see if my maturation/imprint settings are right (seems like they are. Well, maybe cuddle interval needs to be lowered a bit).

(Official, Extinction) Logged on to find myself on the roof again, which means it's not someone messing with me (because I patched up the holes, so nobody can walk in anymore) but some sort of a glitch instead. Fed the dinos. Now gonna log onto (Official, Crystal Isles) to refresh the base, and after that it's (Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) until I feel like that's enough ARK for today. ... (Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Got some metal from small rocks. Made it into ingots. Put all my equipment into the wardrobe and jumped off the roof, to respawn on White Shoals, because I'm not getting any closer to ptera saddle engram by sitting on my extremely safe floating island with nothing to kill. Got two levels, died a bunch of times, tamed a level 5 tropical wyvern, spent some time flying around, then lost the wyvern to a level 15 rex, respawned back on my base, and decided that it's enough ARK for today.

(Official, Valguero) Fed dinos (used Midnight instead of Phobos or Deimos for gathering meat today, because what's the point of having a cool black allo if I never use her), saw and killed a real nice wild deinon, checked nearby nests - no eggs from it. Bred tek rexes (that's 15 eggs in the fridge. 1 more breeding and I'll hatch it all), put rare flowers into my beehives. Extinction and Crystal Isles side-bases can wait until tomorrow, I don't feel like visiting them now. ... (Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) "Takes forever to load, so won't add a new mod just for one item" said I yesterday. "Wow, those dilos are amazing I need them in my game NOW!" said I today and added a new mod (Dino Hoarder's TLC). Since the whole "no adding new mods" thing didn't work, next time might as well add CKF Legacy too, sure, even longer loads, but at least CKF's stable bedding instead or those stupid torches. ... Since I exited to add CKF Legacy anyway, while I'm at it halved fishing and crate loot quality and lowered the effects of crafting skill. Not to vanilla settings, but just for it to be less overpowered. And added Upgrade Station mod, because I remembered that I have some creature and item mods active, so gotta have a way to get the modded stuff at qualities above primitive. I think those are the final changes to my current singleplayer settings, everything seems nice enough, and I can play like that with no problem (in about 20 minutes, because it really takes a long time to load). ... Taming the pachycephalosaurus. And THEN I'll kill it. Exp from taming+Exp from killing+hide! ... Tamed, killed. Not a lot of hide, but at least some. Found a Shiny ovis (level 350, which is the max I set for Shinies), killed it, got tons of hide, tons of pelt (which I threw out because too heavy, and I'm unlikely to ever need it anyway), mutton, too (threw out most of it). Used the few bits of mutton I kept to make some baits, and tamed a level 130 meganeura (one of the reasons Better Dinos mod is awesome: meganeuras are tameable and useful instead of forever wild and only good for chitin). Achieved level 12. Built an upgrade station with all the addons and a saddle emporium workbench. And that's all for today.

(Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) Finished the base (except forgot to add more furniture to the second floor, so that'll have to be fixed while actually playing). The base now consists of the house, stable (6 stalls, each is meant for one horse, but technically could hold two, as it's 2x2), pen for probably bos (from Animals of Atlas mod), dodo coop, hatchery (thermal torches. I don't quite like them, I prefer hay bedding from CKF Legacy version when it comes to primitive AC options, but it takes a ton of time to load as is, so adding another big mod just for one item is not something I'm willing to do), and a workshop (currently it just has two tables with a mortar&pestle and a food bait station, and a refining forge (CKF one). After I was done building, I turned Exp gain on (0.3), and started to actually play. So far so good, didn't cheat. The only downside is that I picked a floating island that's too safe. When it comes to hide, my only option are the otters (well, there's also a trike and a pachycephalosaurus, but they're both Shiny, if I attacks them, it'll end quickly and with a respawn screen). And I already ran out of otters. And two of them (out of four) I didn't even get to harvest because they shot right into the sky. Tamed a ptera, low-level, pink. Hope by the time I get a high enough level for the saddle I'll manage to get enough hide. Didn't do anything on servers because spent all day in singleplayer. Feeding dinos there and whatever will have until tomorrow.

Finally filled in the holes in the house because while that time when I logged on to find myself on the porch can be blamed on a minor rollback or something, today's me logging on to find myself on the roof definitely was someone coming in through the holes and putting me there. Gonna feed dinos on (Official, Valguero) and check on the wyverns on (Official, Crystal Isles), and then the rest of my ARK day will be building a base in singleplayer, because I feel like I have a good idea for it for once (good idea that ISN'T a castle. Castles are cool, but I always end up with them, so it's kinda old at this point). ... (Singleplayer, Crystal Isles) The house is built, just gotta add more furniture, lights, and set all pillars to be the same (I'm using CKF, and the whole thing is built of villager tier pieces, except for the top, which is stained glass from Eco's Garden Decor)). The house is tiered, because I was aiming for a vaguely-Asian look for it. Doesn't exactly look the part, but still pretty cool. I consider that's enough for today (especially since I have another game I gotta log into today - have a goal in it, and it's not gonna reach itself!). Tomorrow will do the furniture, pillars and all, and start on the rest of the base, it's not gonna be much, but at the very least I gotta build a stable and a few pens.

(Official, Valguero) Bred tek rexes. Went to the redwoods to throw cluster grenades at Broodmother. Game froze. Damn. .. Back on, I'm alive, Phobos too, turns out there's still two broodmothers, still mate-boosted, AND there's an alpha carno in there, so alpha-boosted too. Grenades didn't wound them even in a slightly visible way. Should have brought regular ones - cheaper, could have made TONS. Ran out of grenades, not gonna go down there and bite the spiders myself, so just gonna hunt stuff and then head back home. ... Phobos got a new level, I killed 4 alpha carnos (and regretted not taking my chibi with me. oh, well). Back to the base, troughs refilled (including the water pen one), made a lot of grenades so next time I decide to throw explosives at the Broodmother I'll have plenty. Logged off.

Only fed dinos on (Official, Extinction) and checked on the base and the wyverns on (Official, Crystal Isles) today. Tomorrow will try to actually play on (Official, Valguero), at least do a metal run, or maybe hatch a ptera egg, or something. And refill the herbivore/mixed troughs, that will be done even if I don't really play.

(Official, Valguero) Fed the carnivores, bred tek rexes (DIDN'T forget to pick the eggs up this time), put the eggs in the fridge. Don't want to actually play today, so that's all.

(Official, Valguero) Bred tek rexes, got distracted, missed the eggs. Oops. Mindwiped, because I learned the flamethrower fuel engram, but the flamethrower turned out to be pretty meh. Chainsaws are better. Raised baby ptera some. Marblehoof, too. Base nearby decayed, so got myself some stuff from there (lots of dead cryopods! Some nice saddles, too). Podded the ptera and Marblehoof. Fed basilos. Now just gonna quickly check on (Official Crystal isles) base and feed the dinos on (Official, Extinction) one, and that's enough ARK for today.

(Official, Valguero) Went to the mountains near Beaver Lake to take a look at carno's new textures because I don't own any carnos but still curious, saw a wild 55 giga (way closer to the lake than they ever normally go), noped the hell outta there as fast as Phobos' legs (and his normal for a giga stamina, which is crappy) could carry me. Did find a carno to look at, though - they're a lot nicer now! Might even tame one some day. Fed the dinos, bred rexes, put eggs in the fridge. (Official, Extinction) Fed the dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed base.

(Official, Valguero) Did a big metal run, took Phobos to Redwoods for some hunting (2 alpha carnos), tried chomping the broodmother, but there were two, mate boosted, so had to retreat (Phobos wasn't hurt much, but he was hurt visibly, and that's never a good sign). Returned home, fed the dinos, logged off.

(Official, Valguero) Didn't breed rexes because they aren't ready yet. Put the eggs into the hatchery. Repaired three best SCUBA tanks. Put on mask and flippers, and went into the Abyss. By the way - water pen is a really convenient thing to have! Now I can take an argent to get to the starting point of my underwater adventures, since I don't need to pod the flyer and carry it with me, but instead just leave it safely near the water pen. No tusos today, and only one plesio. First thing I encountered (right at the entrance!) was an alpha megalodon, but that's not a problem at all for Killer Sausage - he's pretty strong. Loot was unusually good: three tuso saddles for me to grind for resources, 2 electric prods (also ground them up), riot chest and helmet BP(over 400 armor both), plus as usual, a very high armor megaloceros saddle BP. And a 85 armor giga saddle BP - that's even better than the one I used before! Now that I returned to my base, I'm going to just wait for the tek rex eggs to hatch. ... 15 eggs, no mutations. Unpleasant result, but an expected one. ... (Official, Extinction) Fed the dinos. (Official, Crystal Isles) Refreshed the base.

Thanks! I decided that since I have long since lost the allo on my previous one, it would be better to make an avatar with an allo I actually have (the new one is Midnight - even blacker than the first, wild-tame full black I had that was wearing this name, thanks to having Actual Black as the spine color instead of regular black, and a lot more powerful too, as she's fully imprinted and with better stats to begin with).
