A large AOE Ground stomp?
Mammoths alr have a ground stomp, just right click, it got decent aoe and knockback also. -
What is this "ab" you speak of? I'm still trying to beat The Island. Doesn't help that I regularly reset my data for some reason.
I just can't wait to have all of the DLCs beaten.
Just know that it hasnt been the same ever since the date when the second paid dlc for ark been released.
QUESTION. Let's say I transfer from scorched with the chainsaw engram learned, to Extinction. Will I still own the LEARNED chainsaw engram along with any unlearned scorched engrams ON Extinction? Then will I get the Extinction engrams along with that? (Not immediately of course, I still have to unlock them) Then what if I MINDWIPE, will I still be able to unlock the Scorched engrams, even if I'm on another map, or do I need BPs?
Any engrams u learnt will stay, only disappears when u mindwipe.
Once u are on ext u can learn the engrams exclusive to that map.
If u mindwipe u need to go to the specific map to learn their exclusive engrams again.

I noticed that it was no longer guaranteed 2 per kill ever since aber was released. I used to farm them as part of my meat runs regularly before and after aber release. Before aber it was dropping 2 each regularly. My guess was it had something related to nameless venom which is not supposed to drop regularly.I swear at one point in time it was a guaranteed drop to get 2 per kill, and I'd have oodles of em.
Eh, I restarted my data again and I'd have no use for them anyways. Very discouraged with my progression in all of my playthroughs. Can't even beat the first boss- The caves intimidate me and I never wan't to go for artifacts lmao -
Yes i read have read that before. It clearly says it is after Nerva lost his men and beasts to kill the overseer before Mei Yin got to him, otherwise she would have to fight his army as well. We also know that the survivors take on the Alpha variants of bosses, as Rockwell in Scorched Earth mentions back on The Island you needed 8 artifacts to summon a boss, but he only needed 3 for access to the manticore. (Definitely gamma manticore then.)
I have all the notes on ARK except for the HLNA and mobile ones printed out in a gigantic sheet that I read ritually- I'd recommend you guys do the same, as that's how I get all of my little details for theorizing. There's some good stuffs in there! -
Pc never had times 4. It was times 2 for a long time before the recent rate change, where current 1x is same as the previous 2x so pc and console had same rates for CI.Because it was times four for pc crystal isles console has times two. The summer Evo was times four. We now enjoy times two, 2 and 4 are very different in terms of rates -
Fun fact: Mei Yin defeated the Alpha Overseer solo with just a sword.
Im more curious as to where u got this from. Based on the island explorer notes, it was Nerva who defeated the overseer but he lost his men and beasts to defeat it, then Mei Yin shows up for her revenge.

We never had 4x. The rates from the recent evo events were 2x of the old rates, which is 4x of the even older rates back in 2015. Now that the old 2x is the new permanent 1x, the rates are still the same like what@GP said.Because we had 4x for weeks. Not everyone follows these forums and just know what they experienced in game... not necessarily caring much what the reason for the 4x was.
EDIT: and yes I know the base rates have now increased and what we considered 4x for those weeks would now be called 2x. 2x what the rates are today. -
Then why not u just spawn a very high lvl tame like lvl 10000 and do what u want in sp?I didn't read the whole thread, so i dunno if its been suggested, but for us who play SP, why not give us an option to turn off nerfs for EVERYTHING? I mean, if i wanna go around one shotting everything with a Giga, or traveling the across the map in 30 seconds with a Wyvern or Mana, that should be for me to decide, since im only playing by myself. -
The x4 is with comparison to ark rates when it was released in 2015. At that time x1 rates are half of our current x1 rates, so when current x2 becomes default x1, it will be x4 of the original in 2015.So.... It's too confusing... Now Rates are x2 because of Evo event... They will become permanent.... Then where did x4 come from? x1 will be equal x2 now Isn't it? Why is it stated that 1x will be equal x4? Even if you check rates on wiki, niw is x2. I don't know what rates you compare. Write it so that everyone could understand... Not only you with some rates in some developer's folder no one knows...
So. Can someone tell me... Will the rates be as they R now or will be doubled? Because what I see in this article - they will be x4 - doubled. -

I got a quick maths lesson it appears someone on the team cant add up.
- Boss Fight timer on Valguero has increased from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
When u increase the timer from 20min to 30min its 20+10=30 you know not 20+2 at the moment its 22min and not 30min how is it even possible to get a simple maths wrong?

I prefer raising multiple gigas at a time, like 10 at once, so i can see it in another way, each giga took 1.4 days instead.Yeah u're right Castlerock...they are crazy...14 days for grow 1 dinos...alarm every 8h...we need to play a game and have a life, not work.

I can't see anything good for PVP player...i can undesrtand that the develop team need to implement also for PVE players, but in PVP we lost tons of dinos in fight...and you will increase RHINOS maturation...Giga need 7 days to growth...so for 7 days i have to put clock alarm every 8h...
Make this game...like a game, not a work.
Gigas still takes 14 days to raise not 7.

Unlocking any locked container should NEVER be bound to the same key as opening said container.
Just use F and there wont be any issues. -

What's the issue? I tamed a 150 on rag desert with no issue on current 2x.I love all of this news, but there is one issue I wanted to ask about that I don’t see anyone else asking. Is there a way to make the underwater goggle effect work on every map and not just on the island? I keep missing out on underwater event coloring because I can’t see any of the creatures clearly and the effect doesn’t work on either the goggles or the tek helmet outside of the island map.
Use a gas mask in fpv, can see very clearly.When i use 19 carnos will they give 95% dmg now? Or can only the first carno make 5%dmg and after 10 sec the next. Work this whitout rider?
It doesnt stack, just refreshes the timer on the bleed with each secondary attack.

U cant die from hunger or thirst while offline. I had my char hungry or thirsty before when i logged off, 1 week later when i logged on my hp is still the same as when i logged off.Thanks for the birthday gift ARK!
Was waiting next to a mission booth,on Ocean biom E,to transfer to other server.On me I had building blocks for a new base,equipment and like 5 tops dinos podded.
When I got back from work and loged on I discovered I have been killed. [emoji33]
Not only that it was also such death that my body didnt remain or my equipment.[emoji22]
Where I stood there is nothing that could have killed me,except screwing with the server timer,making me die from hunger.(result of the event patch I bet)

Btw to run CI you need paid ARK game at least The isle.
CI is not stand alone game.
Now u are just mentioning stuff not relevant to my original post. And it still doesnt mean CI needs to be paid for in order to play, standalone or not.
The playerbase couldnt have paid for Crystal Isles, it is free like the center, rag and val, they paid for the base island map and whatever paid dlc they owned.

All i said was CI is free, i never mentioned anything about ppl waiting for improvements and fixes, those come separately when they are ready.How do you know that people are waiting only for CI and nor for "they paid for the base island map and whatever paid dlc they owned" and improvements and fixes for that?

No, all i am saying is just that CI is a free product, no one is paying for it.You mean that with Crystal Isles we don't get bug fixes, and other improvements on Ark code?
Like patch notes promise jet another onetime minwipe so i supposed that problems with traveling between servers and loosing avatars will be solved? -

U forget to mention that it is only until CI is released on console. After that it cant be found on other maps. On pc it is only found on CI.-
