  1. I'm 99% sure that the Nameless were people that fell into the Less-corrupted, liquid Element ore. Corrupted creatures have been taken over by the powerful, mutated element veins. This leads me to believe that different element "structures" (Types/variations/edited versions) Have different effects. Liquid element ore: Mutation Mutated element vein: Corruption Element vein: More powerful creature (Seen in gasbags, gachas, velonas, etc.)
  2. There's actually a tomb of ascension in extinction. Maybe we could go back there??
  3. Also HLNA stated that element can corrupt humans- so maybe we could see some in Genesis part 1 or 2? The idea doesn't seem far off... You have the zombielike Army of The Damned from Atlas and zombies from Pixark, and since it's obvious ideas are shared through the different Dev teams, we could be seeing corrupted survivors sometime in the near future. It would be easy, just equip an AI survivor with the corrupted armor set, make 'em aggressive and watch all Hecc break loose.
  4. It seems like Helena regrets being Homo Deus at times. Maybe in the past, others saw disappointment and unhappiness in Homo Deus, so some rejected the offer.
  5. Hey TinnyHippo, you're on the internet when I search "Ark Genesis Corrupted Skins Full". Cool.
  6. I assume Genesis was just like the ARKS in the way that it was meant to test us- to train us. To train us to exit (Beat?) the simulation, and slay the King Titan on Earth.
  7. I know I'm exited! I hope we get to meet Diana and Mei Lin, like we met Helena and Rockwell... But I suppose it wasn't a good thing, the run-in we had with Rockwell... Rockwell's a bit of a Jerkasaurus Rex
  8. It is, is it not? The good, pure, blue element I mean. The stuff the Gasbags and Magnamar feature? The pure element can be seen most commonly on their bellies, and doesn't seem to effect their temperament.
  9. Yeah, true. Once I found info on black pearls that stated they can be fed to an animal for extra taming affinity... Spent the next 2 days farming Trilos to help aid with Rex taming. Complete disappointment.
  10. Perhaps you are correct- I just assumed that they had been released, because this is what happened for GC 1 and 2, and it would be pretty unprofessional to just put half-baked information on the OFFICIAL WIKI. But in retrospect, that's what I just did on this page... My bad.
  11. I assume the reason that the info slots are blank is because nobody has found them and edited the wiki yet. That's how it worked for GC I and GC II. I'm very active on the wiki.
  12. https://ark.gamepedia.com/Genesis_Chronicles
  13. Aw man, Genesis Chronicles III are out. I can't exactly pop onto Ark and find 'em. Also I don't have any of the new updates due to a lack of internet. I'll get the updates as soon as Christmas comes around. Also: Here's a laugh. On the 14th I'm dressin' up as the Grinch for a children's event and takin pictures with the kiddies. Anyways, we can finally see what the full Corrupted Avatar Skin looks like. I'm exited.
  14. Very true- I keep thinking story-wise and not business-wise... I kinda forgot that this is a video game and the devs have to get money from it lol. I'm trying to say I think we'll be staying on Earth, because of: 1. ARAT PRIME, which is on the other side of the planet 2. I think that the reason we had to svae Earth, is because there is something very important there aside from the city, which the only use it provided us survivors was an abundance of element dust, a haven and lore- That's it. The reseed protocol did't even take place within the city... The city is just a hollow shell of what it once was. We need to reach that "higher plane" that Rockwell was talking about. THERE is where we will find our final answers, and either save Earth again, or beat Rockwell into a pulp.
  15. What do you mean here? The moon was going to hit earth? I just inserted the image because tbh, it looked pretty satisfying. We needed to come to earth to save it, and complete the reseed protocol- but you have a point. What's in it for us after we complete the protocol? Homo Deus? Helena describes being Homo Deus as being a terrible chore, not a reward. Also, why did we even need to save Earth?? Of course the ARKS where becoming deathtraps to to the system trying to overachieve and it only would have gotten worse (And probably ended with all humans goin' bye bye if Helena hadn't stopped that problem by enabling us to be relivable) as Helena stated, but what's the use of having us humans around? What's so important about Earth!? Is there something special there, or was all of this just because Helena wanted to see that last sunrise?
  16. Not sure how I'd feel about going to new planets and whatnot, but if that's what we're receiving here, I'm all for saving another planet or two.
  17. Again with the extra quote bubbles! Whhhyyyyyyyyyyyy?? I think that we'll control some sort of avatar, because of the corrupted AVATAR skins (I know you usually don't base info off of skins, so sorry ) I think that's how we'll respawn- We'll be controlling an avatar of ourselves, or something like that.
  18. WafflePancake That's an interesting spin on things, but HLN-A has clearly stated that Genesis is a simulation, along with the Devs. I think some of your theory might be correct, however. The lunar biome might be in the simulation, so we can find a way to fix the broken moon orbiting Earth- but I doubt it. I see no reason to fix that big grey hunk'a cheese.
  19. I admit it was a complete guess, and it's probably the Island with some inconsistencies. Who knows... I however believe Genesis is after Extinction, and the reason there are no HLN-A discoveries there is because it's not important anymore. (I mean it is... after all it IS the other place where ARKS were tested besides ARAT PRIME, but we cleansed it of the corruption-or at least started to protocol that should cleanse it. Of course the map doesn't change, for the same reason as aberration hasn't landed if we beat extinction and choose to transfer back to aberration.) The only thing happening in Extinction is... well what the ARKS were meant to do, restart life. Life in Extinction is the same as life in any other ARK, (except the humans there aren't in any sort of ARK.) with water, dinos, plants and broken PvP. The city isn't even there afterwards, as in the end of Extinction The Island lands down next to it and blows it up. But when we play it, it is.
  20. ? Ugh, inconsistencies... also just want to spit something out here- I'm buying myself Atlas for Christmas.
  21. Something I noticed- At the end of extinction, you see survivors and dinos alike exiting what ark we perceive to be as The Island- I don't agree. The areas, and map border look different, not to mention the giant Tek bridge leading out of the "ARK". Did you guys notice the unusually vibrant coloring on the exiting dinos? I mean, they could of course be mutations, but really, that's not very likely. I think that what we are seeing is the end of Genesis Part One, where we exit the simulation and arrive on the corrupted Earth. Why I say this, is because you can still see the massive element vein in the background. This is probably wrong- but any good info helps, right? Happy Friday!
  22. Quick thing I noticed- There will be BIONIC creatures in the Lunar Biome in Genesis. There is ONE Bionic creature that isn't a skin in the game. The Enraged Triceratops in the Hellish Watelands of Extinction. This is a very strange design choice, and the Enraged Trike is: 1.VERY Rare 2.Not mentioned in any note 3.Not mentioned in the story in ANY WAY This is very strange indeed. Wish I knew more- Yet I don't. Happy Wednesday.
  23. Ok, first of all why is there an empty quote box up there? @_@... Second of all, I still think we are Homo Deus, because after we kill the Alpha King Titan, we receive the "HomoDeus" Skin set. After the endgame cutscene, I'm 99.999% sure our implant is gone, and it's replaced with a glowing outline that appears when you access your inventory. Also, when you access your inventory, your implant is replaced with a Homo Deus Record. This begs the question- What of us is being recorded? Our existence as a potential Homo Deus? Are there other Homo Deus that are out there looking for new Homo Deus? Or is it just a fancy-pants name that makes us feel good about beating Extinction? Also, we are definitely related to Homo Deus in some way, as we constantly spaz out between being "Human" and Homo Deus. This can be seen in the Ascension cutscenes, and even at the beginning of the Genesis Reveal Trailer. I tried to insert a Picture file, but it claims to be too large. Just watch the reveal trailer, and you can see that our survivor has glossy, shining hands with lines (Veins?) just like your everyday, garden-variety Human-God thing Homo Deus. Also I can't help but notice that Helena's head has been enveloped in the Homo Deus-ness-ish whatchamacallit. Does this suggest that time passed? Or can Helena change what parts of her are Homo Deus-ey, like how we can take off and put on the Homo Deus skins?
