  1. Random White Floating Dmg Trying to make a base in the blue zone but in the spot i want to build i'm always constantly getting these weird random white floating damage signs saying 1, i know white floating dmg means environmental damage or whatever but the thing is i'm wearing a full hazard suit plus the aquatic mushroom affect and i'm still getting the floating dmg. There is blue little spores floating around which cause the frozen blue mushroom plant affect but again i have my hazard suit and the aquatic mushrooms but it STILL happens. Is this a bug or can i do something about it? Please help! Link to pic of what it looks like: https://imgur.com/yxRuwPS
  2. Crash Error: Assertion failed: ActualIndex >= 0 [Please help] Crash Error: Assertion failed: ActualIndex >= 0 [Please help] I've been recently getting this crash and i can't seem to find a fix for it, First off a couple days ago when i tried playing ark it said i had to install it, but it was already installed. All the files were also still there. So I tried finding ways to fix it but found nothing that worked so i decided to just install it again, but when i did and tried to get into my single player game on the island it constantly gave me this crash error: Assertion failed: ActualIndex >= 0 [File:H:\Thanksgiving\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\UObject\WorldSerializedObject.cpp] [Line: 128] VERSION: 302.4 KERNELBASE.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007fffaf90a839) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] ShooterGame.exe!FOutputDevice::Logf__VA() (0x00007ff65ce238e8) + 159 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\core\private\misc\outputdevice.cpp:145] ShooterGame.exe!FDebug::AssertFailed() (0x00007ff65ce23e85) + 178 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\core\private\misc\outputdevice.cpp:220] ShooterGame.exe!FSaveFileObjectReader::operator<<() (0x00007ff65cf16095) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\private\uobject\worldserializedobject.cpp:130] ShooterGame.exe!operator<<() (0x00007ff65ce93f9f) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\public\uobject\propertytag.h:74] ShooterGame.exe!UStruct::SerializeTaggedProperties() (0x00007ff65cea163a) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\private\uobject\class.cpp:757] ShooterGame.exe!UObject::SerializeScriptProperties() (0x00007ff65ced61a8) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\private\uobject\obj.cpp:1065] ShooterGame.exe!UObject::Serialize() (0x00007ff65ced60ac) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\private\uobject\obj.cpp:1023] ShooterGame.exe!AInstancedFoliageActor::Serialize() (0x00007ff65d6a83ea) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\instancedfoliage.cpp:2467] ShooterGame.exe!WorldSerializedObject::SerializeObjectData() (0x00007ff65cf17ba5) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\coreuobject\private\uobject\worldserializedobject.cpp:680] ShooterGame.exe!UWorld::LoadFromFile() (0x00007ff65d946cf9) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\world.cpp:6493] ShooterGame.exe!AShooterGameMode::LoadWorld() (0x00007ff65c2bc77b) + 722 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\projects\shootergame\source\shootergame\private\shootergamemode.cpp:2277] ShooterGame.exe!AShooterGameMode::InitGame() (0x00007ff65c2a4e5b) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\projects\shootergame\source\shootergame\private\shootergamemode.cpp:1147] ShooterGame.exe!UWorld::InitializeActorsForPlay() (0x00007ff65d93afba) + 43 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\world.cpp:3215] ShooterGame.exe!UEngine::LoadMap() (0x00007ff65d9104f4) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\unrealengine.cpp:10176] ShooterGame.exe!UEngine::Browse() (0x00007ff65d90b002) + 38 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\unrealengine.cpp:8884] ShooterGame.exe!UEngine::TickWorldTravel() (0x00007ff65d90bce0) + 68 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\unrealengine.cpp:9056] ShooterGame.exe!UGameEngine::Tick() (0x00007ff65d6470ac) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\engine\private\gameengine.cpp:1143] ShooterGame.exe!FEngineLoop::Tick() (0x00007ff65bd9a065) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\launchengineloop.cpp:2432] ShooterGame.exe!GuardedMain() (0x00007ff65bd9449c) + 0 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\launch.cpp:140] ShooterGame.exe!GuardedMainWrapper() (0x00007ff65bd9b5ca) + 5 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\windows\launchwindows.cpp:125] ShooterGame.exe!WinMain() (0x00007ff65bd9b6f8) + 8 bytes [h:\thanksgiving\engine\source\runtime\launch\private\windows\launchwindows.cpp:209] ShooterGame.exe!__tmainCRTStartup() (0x00007ff65e95daf1) + 21 bytes [f:\dd\vctools\crt\crtw32\dllstuff\crtexe.c:618] KERNEL32.DLL!UnknownFunction (0x00007fffb24f7bd4) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] ntdll.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007fffb294ced1) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] ntdll.dll!UnknownFunction (0x00007fffb294ced1) + 0 bytes [UnknownFile:0] I've tried some ways to fix this but none have worked so far, so far I've tried This: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/484317-gamecrash-everytime-since-thanksgiving-update/&do=findComment&comment=2690991 + Verifying my files Both didn't work, I want to keep my progress since i've pumped probably 100+ hours into it already and i do not want to loose it. I can't even get in the game to upload my dinos incase for some reason there really is no way to fix this and i loose everything i've done. I don't care about loosing my character i just need the progress on that island. Please if anyone can help me fix this problem i'd so greatly appreciate it 12.12-20.38.10.crashstack

  4. Pixel-like/blurry graphics I've been playing ark for a while and I've constantly had these strange graphics issues, in the distance the trees, grass, basically everything always looked so off like extremely pixel like and overall just really bad looking. I am thinking it's my monitor because it's not really a monitor for gaming or anything and its also really old but i'm not 100% sure. It's a dell monitor that I've used in the past with my old PC (which had the same exact pixel graphic issue) and i recently built myself an entirely new PC which i use now for ark and i'm still having the same distant pixel graphics like my old PC i used. Is it my monitor or is it something else? I have all my graphics on epic and my resolution is also max. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. Ryzen 5 2600, 16GB ram, samsung SSD 860 500gb. Greatly appreciate anyone who can help me out, thanks. Sorry for the bad quality pics i had to make them smaller to fit the size limit.
  5. Way to make certain dinos spawn more freq? Just wondering is there any possible way to edit how much a specific dino is able to spawn? I want to up the spawn rates of allos on the island map but i'm not sure how, i think there is a command for it but i can't seem to find what its called or where i need to place it. Thanks to anyone who gives me an answer.
  6. 100% imprint on first imprint? 100% imprint on first imprint? So I was imprinting a megalodon and when i completed the first imprint it immediately finished imprinting, it was already 100% imprinted after just walking it once. How do I fix this so it can be normal and I will have to do several imprints before 100% imprinted? Thanks heres my settings Baby mature speed : 3.0 baby food consumption speed: 1.0 baby cuddle interval multiplyer : 1.0 baby cuddle grace period multiplier: 1.0 baby cuddle lose imprint quality speed multiplier: 1.0 baby imprinting stat scale multiplier: 1.0
