  1. If you dino wipe it's pretty instant. I would fly to herbie island and enter the command then fly back to the mainland, as the map loads in the new dinos will start loading in aswell.
  2. They have just started spawning in my game today, the alpha dinos now spawn as skeletal versions. I haven't seen any skeletal herbivores though. If you kill all the alphas you see they should start to spawn in. Or if you are on singleplayer you could use the admin command to wipe all wild dinos.
  3. Flew around ragnarok for a bit looking for griffins but none had respawned, the last time I was here I tamed a blue one during the July colour event. Went to my makeshift base, a roughly L-shaped set of foundations 2 wide with a wall along one side and crafting area in the corner. Did some work on the base and then dino wiped and headed out again. Found and tamed a couple of griffs lvls 55 and 85 one was red body with brown wings and the other was red body with black wings, levels aren't great but I got them for the colours just wish I could breed them. Flying the higher level griff home, to gain some levels, I spot a 135 quetzal in the snowy place, I took the scenic route home, glad I was on the griff instead of my usual argy mount as it makes solo taming a quetz loads easier. Tamed up the quetz, eventually, and she is gorgeous, red wings with a body that is such a dark red it looks black or it's black with red highlights, she may also be the highest level quetz I have and will definitely be bred. That took up most of my time so I packed up what I needed and headed back to the island to make the most of Fear Evolved.
  4. I am on xbox, playing singleplayer, I don't have the moon but get everything else. When dodorex spawns it can be anywhere on the map, luckily for me he doesn't despawn in the morning, so I just fly around the map until I hear the music or see him (whichever happens first).
  5. You can use deinonycus eggs (fertilised ones) as well to help boost kibble production and get rid of low level wild eggs.
  6. I thought that only applied to taming, only recently started breeding and raising. I'm glad I have found out though. My goal is to breed boss fight dinos on the island and move all non essential dinos to another map to breed for colours, I have set my sights on Valguero for my big dino zoo as it's seperate from the story arks.
  7. Thanks for the info, I didn't realise that would work.
  8. Turkey trials AND winter wonderlanad? Thank you Wildcard. I have yet to experience the turkey trials, so I am excited for that, and winter wonderland was fun last year, can't wait to see what it brings this year.
  9. Try to make some of each type of kibble if you can as it could want any of the possible care requirements, I am not sure how many times you can freeze it and change its need for each imprint.
  10. Cryopodding dinos can reset the care requirement, when you unpod it it may want another kibble or a walk or cuddle.
  11. Managed to tame a couple of the coloured tapejaras on my way back to base, my work here is done. Decided to check the production outputs of the gachas before I left and 1 of them produces clay, that is going to make life on Valguero so much easier, podded up the pair and off I go. Sitting at the map selection screen about to return home to the island when I decide to visit rag and see if I can get an event Griffin in purple. I had a sleeping bag by the ob at the northeast guarded by a poison wyvern, so I have downloaded the empty cryopods and several stacks of narcotics and am good to go. Before I take off on my next adventure I take a moment to appreciate the autumnal colours on the trees, and oh look an orange drop in the distance, this might not be so bad.
  12. Jumped over to extinction to test wether the skins from the orange drops are unlocked or just a one time find, they are not unlocked so I need to chase more orange drops. Headed out through the sanctuary and discovered extinction is still running christmas colours, the gacha clause was a big clue, so I decided to stay for a while and tame some coloured things. Went to the snow and got a low level (15) green and red owl then headed to the desert and have tamed a collection of christmas kentros. Gonna see what else I can grab while I am here and then try for the christmas Tapejaras I passed in the sanctuary, if they are still there, on my way back to the island.
  13. 40.8, 69.8 and 38.3, 63.1 and 22.7, 14.7 are the three locations where I have seen him.
  14. The 'have YOU seen the dodorex' thread has a list of places where people have seen him.
  15. Seen him at 35, 60 and at 45, 70 or thereabouts. I can check actual co-ords when I get home from work.
  16. I am not sure there is a guaranteed way to find him but I have found him twice near the twin pillars, once to the north on the mountain and once in the trees to the south.
  17. I have found a few but greens and reds are definitely more common.
  18. Finally getting all my resources in one place, started building a storage warehouse near the hatchery by green ob, should make it easier to transfer stuff to other maps and bring things into the island. Another dodorex night happened while I was retrieving items from the little island at carno island, after realising that the loot is nothing special I carried on with my endeavours. I have condensed 3 bases worth of resources down to 2, just need to craft at main base and transport to the hatchery, decided to go and check the iceberg mini-base because I haven't a clue what was left there. On my way up the West coast just as I get level to the iceberg and ready for a stamina stop I spot him. Dodorex encounter 3, I gain stam at a safe distance and launch my attack, after my previous experiences I feel confident I can do this with ease no matter how long it takes. I was wrong. I approach as before and attack his hind quarters but I had not come to a stop and slowly got closer to the business end. I found myself within bite distance and pulled away to turn around and reposition myself for a continued attack, no such luck. I had his attention now and he turned to give chase and unfortunately he chased right of the edge of the cliff. To make matters worse he missed the side edge of the ice shelf and landed in the ocean. A lot of kiting later and a few near dismounts treacherously close to a snappy mouth and I emerge victorious albeit very cold and half dead. Unfortunately by the time I returned to the zomdodos I was unable to claim any. Win some, lose some. Things I have noticed; no moon present on this map dodorex doesn't despawn in the morning, arrival message shows but no leave message When I have found dodorex in the daytime he is level 1 dodorex doesn't drown no skeletal dinos are spawning.
  19. Loaded my game after the patch and was wondering what might have changed when I noticed the fireballs in the afternoon sky, I was confused by this as until now I had only seen them on dodorex night but now they are permanent. I checked my storage box and discovered that the spooky pile items no longer despawn, halfway to new skins. Went for a fly to look for skeletal dinos and it's dodorex night again ( I exited the game after a dodorex night and thought I had more time before the next one). I didn't find any skeletal dinos, and still haven't, but I did find 4 gacha clause(s), 2 on herbie island and 2 on the mainland opposite. I discovered some new orange drops loaded with stuff for taming and old skins that I didn't have, so thats cool. Went to check on the dinos I have on the twin pillars and thought I would have a look around the mountain to the north for any event coloured anythings. On my way up the mountainside I see dodorex basking in the midday sun without a care in the world. I fly wide and land on the mountain to get stam and then off I go. I fly slowly up to ddrex from behind and come to stop by the base of his tail, my argy lets loose a flurry of kicks which doesn't seem to bother dumdumrex, a few stam stops and some rinse and repeat action and the beast dies without even trying to fight back. My eager trigger finger means no dermis this time so I check the loot bag and... some berries a stone axe and a handful of arrows, so no improvement there but at least I was able to claim a small horde of zomdodos which I left at the base of the pillars.
  20. Xbox - singleplayer. Got back to the island, but not before the event started, in a mad panic I managed to craft 4 cryofridges and enough cryopods to almost fill 3 of them, had to pool the resources of 3 bases to do it though, and finally proved to the wife that (sometimes) hoarding is a good and valuable thing to do. Got most of my dinos safely into storage at the hatchery by green ob and then tamed some more dinos, have almost filled 1 fridge with argents, and collected some loot from the spooky piles which all despawned, so that was a waste of time. Took my battle argy out scouting for the dodorex, not to engage just to see the beast for myself, flying over some trees the music kicks in so I dive slowly into the treeline. As I break through the canopy my torch breaks and at that exact moment dodorex lurches from the right and takes a bite at me, jump scare moment of my life, I bank left and flee the scene crossing a river and landing on a cliff to heal and see if he gave chase. He did, but now he is stuck in the water and can't climb out over the banks, so I start straffing runs and after a few or more stamina stops the beast fell on the edge of the river. I eagerly open the dropped loot bag to discover garbage, I get better loot from alpha raptors, not even a dodorex mask skin. That was all pre-update, post update adventures coming later.
  21. Sorry if my earlier replies seemed curt but I was trying to wake up, drink coffee and get dressed for work whilst flicking through the unread topics. In general I either name dinos the first thing I think when I see them or I already have a name in mind and am just waiting to find the dino. I have a light blue and pastel pink Argentavis named Bubblegum, a host of black and blue or purple or red argents named after Edgar Allen Poe and his works. I am currently looking for a blue Gallimimus to name Zippeau (dinotopia reference).
  22. Are they collectable/harvestable from the gravestones that were in the trailer? I haven't logged on yet so I still have no idea myself.
