  1. Of the special dinos, which ones will be available on Aberration?
  2. The Olympus map just won the modding contest. It being a Greek themed map, they could add in a exclusive creature to that map, like they did with the Deino on Valguero. Assuming, that is, they follow tradition and make the winning mod map official.
  3. I think it would be cool to see some more Mythological creatures in the game. Like a Pegasus, Minotaur, Nemean Lion, etc, etc.
  4. Another thing I thought of, and this applies to ALL creatures: Give all creatures the ability to sleep. Now, don't have it be like the Megalosaurus where they are sluggish during the day and constantly falling asleep when you don't want them to. It could be that a creature which is injured can be put to sleep and will regain health faster. Once it has fully healed it automatically wakes up.
  5. Ohh, didn't think of that! Nice one!
  6. If the Rex nest is guarded by an Alpha Rex, it won't be a free egg. I doubt a Bronto could take down an alpha Rex.
  7. Here are my TLC suggestions: -More Tek Dinos. I'm not saying saturate the game with Tek Dinos, but a few more would be nice. Like maybe a a Tek Megalosaurus, which could be useful on Aberration. Or a Tek water Dino. All the Tek creatures we've got so far have been land/air based. I think a Tek Sarco would be cool, or, since the Sarco has already received a TLC update, how about a Tek Megalodon. -Speaking of Megalodons, how about making them a greater ocean threat? Right now when one is out on the ocean with a boat, the only real worry is the Leedsicthys. How about giving the Megalodon the ability to lunge from the water and snatch people off rafts. Or at least do SOME damage to rafts, not as much as the Leedsicthys, but even modern sharks will be hostile to boats in the water, and Megalodons are supposed to be fierce, not just swim about while boats are nearby. -Dino nests. I find it weird that only Wyverns, Drakes, and Deinos have nests to take eggs from. I think it would be cool for ALL dinos to have nests that are located in various parts of the maps. Naturally, taking them will aggro nearby dinos. Could have it be that all dino nests are guarded by Alpha dinos, which ups the danger factor of stealing them. -To go with that point ^ up there. Alpha Herbivores. -
  8. It has worked fine for me. It might have to with the fact your server is from Nitrado. I was running my own private server and could spawn one in.
  9. For those on PS4, you can spawn in the HLNA skin WITHOUT buying the season package. Only works if you're the owner of a private server or playing on single-player. Just open up command bar and type in 'GFI MiniHLNA 1 0 0' and it'll give it to you. Tested and worked! EDIT: Must have downloaded the last update to work.
  10. No, they just live in their parent's basement and leech off them.
  11. Some guy on Youtube (a click-baiter I think, not sure) says he thinks the conversation is between Helena and the system on the broken Aberrant Ark. He thinks she's trying to fix it, and Rockwell is trying to lure her into a confrontation, hence the "I'm coming for you." During the final cut-scene. What are your thoughts on that?
  12. I was going to say you can see them being dropped before entering the Overseer arena. Only thing is that on Aberration the Overseer got blowed up and the pylon it was in was snapped off, yet the drops keep coming down. Oh, and this following part is totally just a fun bit of fan-theory here, but, if the Overseer/System is generating the drops, I have this mental image of there being a room in the Overseer pylon that contains a room full of Gachas spitting out loot that is collected by drones and put in the beacons. ?
  13. Hi. I came here to ask a question about a part of the game and saw this post, so I figured you'd be a wise person to ask. I'm doing an Ultimate Ark playthrough of the game (story maps only), and I'm about halfway done with Aberration, but there is one thing I've been wondering about that the explorer notes I've read (all but Extinction) haven't answered. What's the deal with the supply drops/beacons? Are they something the previous survivors also received or is that just a game mechanic that we the players are experiencing? Witn Ark it's hard to determine what's actually story related and what's just game mechanics, and in this case, the explorer notes thus far have not yielded any answers.
