It’s an online FREE game. You aren’t owed ANYTHING. So, let’s scrap the self-entitled bullpoopy temper tantrum you’ve been throwing and analyze YOUR choices because, frankly, no one forced you to play the game. 

YOU chose to play the game of your own free volition with the knowledge that server closures are a potential future outcome. You whine all day about sound business decisions, yet you forget the simplest of things: you could have prevented this. 

You chose to play on official servers. You could easily have played on or started an unofficial server to avoid all your current troubles. You went into the gaming knowing this could happen, accepting the risks. Now you want to complain and blame someone else for the choices you made? 

Grow up. That’s the way of the world. Actions and consequences. Get over yourself. You aren’t that important. And honestly, no one cares about your whining. Accept your decisions and move on so that we can have some peace here. 
 

P.S. you don’t deserve my help but I’ll still offer it. You can save your tames by moving into single player and then you never have to worry about your whiny complaints again ? tell your whiny, cry baby friends too!

@WarDrumJordan can you make it so the boxes don’t automatically despawn in daylight? They should stay spawned in until their timer expires like you did for the Halloween event in 2018. They’re already hard enough to find without them instantly despawning because night passes faster on most unofficial servers or an admin flips the time and something you searched so hard for disappears as you finally go to open it.

They spawn on single and multiplayer during the in-game hours of 5pm thru 6am. Unofficial servers should slow down the passing of night to increase the amounts of basket spawns per in-game day.

When entering the game options/settings part of your inventory on the left side at the bottom will be a button labeled “Support Codes.” If you click on that, you will be able to enter your code. 

How are dungeons changed to PVP and how are the element rewards different?

No, lol. Devices need a minimum of 2gb of ram just to load everything at the lowest possible quality. Then you have to have a processor that can handle rendering the graphics.

Great TEK additions! However, is the TEK generator ever going to power implant chambers so we can use the full 10 slots? And fix the issue of tribemates turning the chambers off with screen taps that waste element in them when trying to access ones when they don’t have permissions to access?

Any news on decreased costs of Element for TEK?

The patch notes state that adjustments were made, but I haven’t been in game to check what has been affected. 

EDIT: Only walls, foundations, doorways, ceilings (all reduced to 5) and doors (reduced to 3) have seen drops in element cost. No other structures, including lights (still 10 element), have seen decreases.

I wouldn’t say the site as much as the majority of content. Twitter is built for on the go updates. Forum posting isn’t the most fluid streamlined method of an individual announcing something to the community. The metrics would probably show a higher interaction/response to the tweet... otherwise they wouldn’t be doing it. Forums are somewhat clunky for quick updates. There are far worse choices of SM they could use, at least they chose a public platform. Fewer people use the forums than SM. It’s just a fact. They are only adjusting their branding scheme to current business practices (although see below what most businesses with websites also do to avoid alienating customers).

However, they could easily integrate a Twitter feed on the ARK site to make sure all content is featured here for forum users, if they are going to use it to make quick announcements. It’s like an RSS feed of all the devs and main account.

@DovahkiinMac Dungeons aren’t easy on Brutal servers for veterans who are handicapped in service so you can complain about people’s difficulty levels in life with no consequence. I suppose you also don’t support ramps next to stairs for handicap persons either, right? You want to be rude and ignorant to others, and yet I bet you use save tactics to get through the dungeons, right?

Come do a dungeon run on our brutal server and show us how easy it is, please? I’ll give you gear and levels and see how well you do. I’ll even change the server to casual so you can keep your stuff if you die. I want to see you manage 4 giant lvl 760+ kapros at once. Please, please come indulge me. I want to watch this.

I don’t see any snark... Twitter is a public platform that can be viewed without having an account or logging in. It’s the perfect delivery system for professional or business public info because it’s short, sweet, and simple. Yes, the personal aspects can be “blegh” at best sometimes, but by using Twitter they are not restricting anyone from accessing the info or imposing additional requirements to be able to access said information. 

His comments were made matter of factly more than snarky. Try not to perceive a tone that isn’t there, that’s what starts most confrontations in text based mediums of communication.

Everyone is making that assumption, but even in that light it can be read that Arat Prime is an entity and she is being pulled to where it is located. It could be the main converted “consciousness” or AI running the ARK systems. It could be the leader of those who were left behind but began to fade into their routines instead of the one who actively fought to solve the resurrection problem so Helena (and others) could ascend? into the newest of these entities? 

Or we could both be right. Arat could be the place where the Prime (overseer/AI/converted human consciousness) is located/stored/operated. In the context of how the English language is used (which the developers may not be aware of in creating these notes), there is equal evidence for either of our arguments. Just taking all the information from the various storylines and notes all the way through, I think it is very possible AP is an entity of some sort or at least a routine in the ARK system. However, watch it be both an entity and a place named after the location of said entity. 

I just feel Arat Prime is more a thing than a place, even if that “thing” is just a tool, building (although, a facility is and can be both of our ideas) or computer routine, because of the context of all the note information combined with these encodings. The unnamed entity who solves the resurrection issue... I keep thinking Arat Prime is like his main boss mostly because of human naming schemes. Prime is normally used to denote a person, place, thing, or object rather than a place when used as a proper noun. Although, in sci-fi, Prime is often used in naming schemes for the main planet in a solar system... so Arat Prime could be another planet tied to the ARKs? Maybe a replacement for Earth?

I’m probably thinking too deeply into it, because developers rarely employ such imagination, expertise, attention and effort to the relevant fields for making something as elaborately complex as I’m imagining could be possible. Odds are that you’re right, but I can still hope they might have delved as deeply to develop the lore as I’ve contrived to imagine. I think a case can still be made from the information available to us for supporting my points.

I’ll go back and check the lore again along with what you’ve decoded (great job, by the way! It’s pretty tough because of the ripples to get them all) to see if my idea still retains any possibility or credulity.
