    Like I've already reported this tribe on my server for building everywhere and ofcourse why would I expect anything to happen but this is just going to make everything worse....

    WILDCARD NO. What? Offical pve is already rough enough with people leaving spam builds everywhere and now you're going to promote people putting little cryo shacks ALL OVER THE MAP. Like could you guys once try to do something that makes official pve better for people that don't like to play like greedy children??? Seriously....

    That's a fair assement but you have to have to remember there aren't cryopods yet (or ever hopefully) so people are discouraged from branching out widely once settled. It's like cameras in convenience stores, they don't stop all crime but it helps. Personally, even if this only keeps a fraction of megabox base idiots from playing on official when they clearly don't want neighbors, full support from me.

    As someone who was worried about ugly megabox bases and land grabbing I am thrilled with this change. The limit being a 1/3 of what it was on ASE is pretty genius and I hope it stays this way. I know you could still technically get around this with alliances but still, it's a step in the right direction. Public Official PVE Servers should be for people who actually want a sense of community with strangers and for those of us that don't feel the need to take up 10% of the entire map for our one base.

    Wildcard really dropped the ball by not rebooting offical PvE to be drastically different. The fact that you can't get rid of any other players structures really ruins the gameplay. I don't understand why wildcard didn't do anything to resolve the way toxic players destroy public servers with building spam...

    I can't find much info on the state of ASA servers as far as land grabbing goes in PvE official, I really enjoy official settings and playing with strangers and I know the community was kinda terrible in ASE. So anyone give an update on the state of things in that regard? I

    2015-17 offical Ark was the most fun I ever had playing any game ever and I'm legitimately emotional thinking about how much I'm going to love this game lol. I know I may sound silly but I'm just so thankful lmao.

    The movement speed change is going to make for some great gameplay on pve. Love it. The whole slowdown will be great overall.

    I gotta admit I am pretty excited for this now. Just hope we can get the issue of mass land grabbing in pve addressed.

    I feel like the smart decision would have been to push back ark 2 and start monetizing ark on console and pc or just release more paid dlc AFTER the FREE ue5 update. Sell skins ffs.

    Yes and they let the people in their country pay them (Snail Games) for hacks and special benefits on foreign servers.

    Exactly this. I just got back into Ark a month ago because of the ue5 hype and as soon as I hit my stride playing they go and do this. I won't spend any money on future products if this isn't fixed.

    I just realized that there probably isn't an Ark 2, Like it doesn't exist at all. How can a game that was promised last year and then pushed to this year and then pushed to next year not have any gameplay footage?

    There's no shoulds about it, the game director or whoever he is stated less than 2 and half months ago that this would be free and we could transfer. In that time it has went from "its free and you can transfer" to "its 90$ and you can't transfer anything" Like lmao. It wasnt enough how you screwed the base with scorched earth huh?

    If that were the case then why didn't wildcard address the issues on official that everyone actually worries about. Meshing and pillaring.

    Lmao! This type of attitude right here! I do get on the servers early, then a month later you can't explore poop because the huge type of big Walmart box bases spamming up the whole map. But I'm sure judging by your reaction you're the guy pillaring entire coasts.
