  1. I don't remember it happening before either. What a weird bug, how could a raptor pounce affect your dino's aggression? This game is so weird sometimes lol
  2. Raptors Set My Thyla to Passive Flee? Twice now when I've gotten pounced by raptors, and my thyla was in range to take damage form said pounce, she's taken off in a random direction. Once I wouldn't find her so I had to revert a save, but the second time she only went a few feet before I did a neutral whistle. I figured maybe I fat-fingered the key to whistle passive flee, but after a google search it seems there isn't a key bound to it. It only happens when I'm pounced by a raptor, both when I'm riding my thyla and when I'm just standing next to her. Is there an explanation for this?
  3. I didn't think about knockback, I suppose that could be useful during PvP against other players' rexes. It does look awesome, but that was Deinonychus's main "selling point" if you will when Valguero was announced. I just wish it was a little better for PvE.
  4. How useful is the Deinonychus jumping ability? I love the deinonychus's sound, animations, model, and all around I like using them as a quick travelling mount. But I don't know of any advantages of jumping onto a large creature with a deinonychus. Your melee does the same amount of damage (last I checked), your attack speed is slower, and the dino you're on can still hit you. Is there any reason to cling to a dino rather than just attacking it on the ground?
  5. They fixed it! My Rex was able to kill an alpha carno, dilos, piranhas... I'm so freaking happy!
  6. It's working now! They must've patched it in the event update. I was able to kill the alpha carno!
  7. Found out that Rexes can't damage carnivores in SP. Haven't played since then cause I wanted to beat the Island bosses, but rexes can't damage them so...
  8. I've been having the same problem on The Island with my Tek Rex in SP. Can kill trikes and dodos just fine, but not raptors or the alpha carno I was saving to get my rex some levels. Also I think it's worth mentioning that the alpha carno didn't aggro, probably because regular carnos don't aggro to rexes. So I don't know if the blanket statement in your post of all alphas aggroing is correct. But I really hope they fix this ASAP cause otherwise rexes will be unusable for boss fights, or anything else for that matter.
  9. It must've been the movement speed then. I eventually got twins (M and F) that were both 258 with all the best stats
  10. Breeding and Stats Question I was breeding Thylas and was trying to get all the best stats onto a male and a female. I have the female I need and she's a level 258 (and she's NOT mutated). She had a male baby with the exact same stats, but he's a level 248. Why does this happen? I don't want their babies to be levels between 248 and 258. I want all their babies to be the same level so it's easier to spot mutations.

  12. Mating Interval Multiplier Reset I play singleplayer with my Mating Interval Multiplier set to 0.0001 but lately it has been resetting to 1.000000 every time I exit the game. Today I checked while I was playing and it was set to 0.000000. So it's going from 0.0001 to 0.000000 to 1.000000. I don't use any mods that affect breeding, or so I thought. The other day I found this in my GameUserSettings.ini: [/Game/Mods/jd_Bridge/TestGameMode_jd_Bridge.TestGameMode_jd_Bridge_C] MatingIntervalMultiplier=1.000000 But after updating my mods today, that has disappeared. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Because I have so many questions.
  13. I tried to play cause I just bought SE a few days ago. Then my mods wouldn't update, so I've been trying to fix that. Since nothing is working, I'll just play something else
  14. Mating Interval Settings Reset on SE I've been playing on singleplayer with the Mating Interval set to 0.0001 on The Island, Ragnarok, Aberration, and Valguero with no issue. But every time I get on Scorched Earth, it is reset back to 1. Anyone know why this could be happening? All the mods that I'm using on SE I use on the other maps, and none of them affect breeding so I don't think it could be those. Edit: I went digging through my GameUserSettings.ini and found this: [/Game/Mods/jd_Bridge/TestGameMode_jd_Bridge.TestGameMode_jd_Bridge_C] MatingIntervalMultiplier=1.000000 I'm guessing that's the culprit, but I don't know why the Bridges mod would affect the Mating interval, or why It would only pop up after installing SE. Should I delete that, or uninstall the mod entirely? Cause honestly I only used it for a server that I stopped playing on months ago.
  15. Thanks for the reply. I hope it doesn't take too long for it to be fixed (assuming it does get fixed). I've been using the Awesome Teleporters mod which allows you to put a tracker on your dinos and teleport them to you. I've been putting trackers on any dinos I take into the aberration cave so hopefully I can pull them out from under the map.
