EU-PvE-Official-TheIsland today I tried to work out a decent pirate boat on a motorboat platform, after 3 builds, I quit, kept running into structure limits, thank goodness I decided to use wood and tatch pieces for testing. my mate spent 5 hrs collecting element dust from the gacha while taking care of his babies, a nice hunk of 121 element and a few good mastercraft items came out of it. We headed to carno island to try to go find a good high level rex to bring into the breeding line, because, well carno island is normally the place to breed them... but... a tribe called "The Bastards" have pillared the island so much there are only 3 small spots any dinos are spawning now, couldn't find a decent rex there if you wanted to. Gotta love people and their over pillaring. The have one tiny stone shack there, and we only ever see them on the server once a week. We both headed back to the main land, wandered around on gigas for awhile eating everything while one of the tribe members from the tribe that pillared carno island so bad kept trying to tell me "Pillars don't block dino spawns" …. it was funny and frustrating at the same time as they claim they've been playing ark for "years and years". After we collected a bit of meat and a few other things, we headed back to our base, cooked up the meat, put the other items away in their containers, fed the dinos and my mate called it quits. I stayed on for another 3 hours watching my mates babies while I added a few touched to the exterior wall for the base rebuild. he's got 3 now that are ready for imprints, I tucked them all away in cryopods and stuck them in his fridge, that should make him happy, not having to wait so long as he doesn't have much time to play lately. The other mate in our tribe couldn't play but a hour before work, so he grabbed 3 artifacts that we need for doing boss fights, almost got his angler killed one time but the other two he got without a hitch. I guess one good thing about having a old hermit in your tribe, they got plenty of time on their hands to go about doing all the stuff no one else wants to do (like all the building, glad I like building) thats it for this old fart for now, hope you all had a good day in ark.

EU-PVE-Official-TheIsland today, i took a 18 800 melee rexs with 35k health into the alpha ape battle, we had one yuty there for two reasons, 1 all the rex we moved off to the right as soon as we got in, and the yuty ran up and pulled the ape to the rexs, after pulling it to the rexs it proceeded to buff them as they attacked the ape. the battle lasted a whole 4 minutes. After that we took the element and made a tek teleporter and generator, then sense we have been playing together for serveral months but in seprate tribes, we merged our two tribes together. at the other players base we placed the second teleporter and geny in a small room, just big enough to hold it and whatever we teleport to it. its set to non-public, so no ones going to be teleporting in. It took us sense Friday to be able to do a bossbattle on the server, as every obelisk had dino's parked around them so that no one else could get dino's to them. blocked. This is one reason we setup the teleporter, there is a drop that comes down right outside the door at the teleporter so we can bring the rexs over, wait for a drop and start the boss fight that way instead of having to wait days for people to move their dino's off the obelisks. The blue obelisk is totally inaccessable, but the green obelisk got cleared enough that we managed to get all the rex positioned onto the platform. The red one is finally clear, but its too far of a trek to take the rexs on foot and no where near that a teleporter could be placed due to pillars. Anyhow, we found a solution for our problem, and its in a good enough spot that, well, lets just say no ones going to be keeping us from accessing it. and no, we don't have it blocked. Hopefully we will be able to get more boss battles done in the future to get abit more tek made up for our two bases now there, both being on opposite ends of the map, making it nice sense now, both have a teleporter to easily get back and forth.

EU-PVE-Official-TheIsland ==================== woke up at 3am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I made myself a pot of coffee, sat down infront of the pc with a fresh cup, took a sip, and fired off ark. I jumped on the island server, deciding to do abit of cleanup on there.I fed the animals and then I started off by making a few vaults so that I could sort things out in the newer larger building. Once I had them placed I named them out, Saddles, Armor, Weapons, and started storing things. Noticed I had alot of blueprints scatters through containers, and sense my vaults are spaced due to the building design, I was able to place 5 bookshelves between each vault set. That gave me more then enough room to for storing the blueprints, 12 full, 8 empty. I finished sorting the items out into their vaults, then did a second round of feeding the dinos. afterwards I took and made a few tek storages with what element I had left after putting some in the tek feeder. I placed those boxes down and started sorting out the different materials I had scattered through different storage containers, and got rid of some of the wooden storage boxes ... 6 more vaults of mats to sort out into the tek storage and all will be done... I look at the clock... its only 5... oh wait... 5pm? gah... I headed to extinction to move a few mats there and a server message pops up "shutting down in 15 minutes for patch" uggg.... right after i transfered... 1 hour later... servers are back up and the patch wasn't applied as it was broken to begin with... hold my breath and hop back on... hope my characters still there... whew, it saved right after i laid down on the bed.... i quickly headed back to the island map, and finished sorting some materials... well... 7pm... best I call it quits.... doesn't seem like i did alot, but got alot sorted and the inside of the building looks much better now I need 1 more industrial cooker on the main floor, and that level will pretty much be done. I'm glad all the weapons / armor / tools / saddles are all sorted out now, it will make finding what i need alot easier, and now that alot of the materials are tucked away in tek storage, it'll be easier to get the ones I need (yes they are all pincoded). so... basically I sorted stuff in ark for 16 hrs today... had some dinner and now im watching a movie. cheers all.

EU-PVE-Official-Extinction ------------------------------------------ Once I got there things seemed fine except the 1 minute server save lags that kept happening, I cryo'ed up all the normal Monkeys that had fully grown and left the colored ones out, giving a bunch hats with clown masks and dodo masks. After being there for awhile I decided to head out to the wastelands and look for airdrops, and thats when everything went down hill. The server began getting massive lag spikes, and people were getting disconnected left and right, it would settle for about 2-4 minutes and then again, everyone was getting disconnected. This all started happening just as I came up on 4 reapers on my giga. I thought for sure I was going to be dead. luckly when i was finally able to gt back to my giga, it was still alive and the 4 reapers were running off chasing a gas bag, luck held out that time. I started moving the giga back to the city, I knew this wasn't the last of the lag spikes, I got 1/2 way there and just as I was about to kill a rex, disconnect again. This time it took the upwards of 15 minutes before I or my tribemate could get back on the server. once again, my luck held out, when i finally did get back on, the rex was dead by something, not my giga as it was set to passive, but dead none the less. I started heading to the city and got in the west side where the green area is with the beaver dams, after passing it, and just getting up the ramp to the main central path... another disconnect. this time the server didn't let anyone get back on for at least 10 minutes, I was the first to get back on it. Managing to get my gig back and cryopodded i headed to the transmitter and found i had 12 minutes to wait. Just about the time I was going transfer out... server offline... fun... sat around wating for it to come back, when it did, it was already lagging yet again, so i got to the transmitter and was able to transfer back to the island. EU-PVE-Official-ScorchedEarth ------------------------------------------------- I had a crafting character on scorched earth so I decided to hop on it and avoid doing any transfering, once there, more lag.... whats going on today? I headed out with the rex and gathered abit of meat for him, and some fish, he loves fish... after returning to the little base, there was a dung beetle just outside, so I checked the feeding trough, sure enough spoiled meat! so i tamed the dung beetle who was only a lvl 25, and shoved more meat into the feeding trough so the little guy would have something to eat as well. so much rubberbanding during all this, after taking care of the dung beetle, i decided to log out of that server. EU-PVE-Official-Valguero ---------------------------------------------- A Friend needed some help over there taming a argy, so i told them about my open taming pen, and they headed over, I was standing around waiting for them when a 135 argy came out of nowhere and ate my poor little naked body. Okay no problem have a bed there, so i respawned. They showed up shortly after and lured the bird into the trap and I scarficed myself inside the trap to the argy because, yep you guessed it, more lag and rubber banding. they started tranqing the argy when a bronto tail decided to get in the way, one swoop and the person i was helping went flying off the cliff and into the water below, luckly surviving, me, not so lucky, I looked like a rag doll bouncing off the cliffwall all the way down to the beach and across it to the water... obviously dead. I spawned back at my main base grabbed my wyvern and started collecting mutton for them, on my way back to them, they said a alpha carno was close by so I headed in a strait line to them, rubberbanding several time backward over the water, thankfully no disconnects though, and when i arrrived I was the carno, just above on the hill, so i flew over and tried pulling him away from the pen incase it decided to flee while being attacked.... and then it happened... a large lag spike...when the lag stopped and I rubberbanded, the carno was standing On top of my wyvern... I couldn't move... I kept biting and watched my wyverns health get lower and lower... but then a passing diplo distracted the carno with a head butt, and it hopped of my back, I quickly flew off and regained stam. I managed to pull the carno after that to a far cliff and got it to walk off the edge. The argy being tamed was safe. after they got the argy tamed I bid them farewell and headed back to base, more lag, more rubberbanding.. wasn't just me either all the '1' popping up in chat surely showed that. once back at base I parked the wyvern, headed upstairs, laid on a bed, waited for a server save and logged out. UE-PVE-Official-Extinction ---------------------------------------------- I remembered my rollrats were still out, and a couple baby monkeys that were only to juvi stange so I decided to hop on via the second account and go cryo them. I got to the pen where the baby rollrats were picking their own food, and.... crash....well... not really a crash... the server disconnected once again, but this time instead of sending me back to the main menu it locked up ark tight, I couldn't even alt tab out of it, could pull up the windows menu, but couldn't get any program to take focus over ark. I had to reboot. After rebooting I went to fire off ark and... "Install Ark" was the button in steam.... okay restart, nope same thing, restart steam, nope same thing... click the install button .... check downloads.... "validating ark" .... just not my day... at this point I gave up... the juvi's will be dead most likely and the rollrats by the time I'll be back on... rip... and with that... I quit playing ark for the day. Could someone please explain how the "Server Network" is "Healthy" when there are constant lag spikes that are obviously server side sense they are effecting everyone? How in the world can this be considered "Healthy" and if that actually is "Healthy" I gotta say.... *looking up at the previous happenings* ...I would really hate to see a "UnHealthy" ark server...

the island map got a major overhall that changed the biomes a long time ago, things got moved around, changed abit, even the bosses got changed instead of fighting them at the obelisks, you get teleported in, It was a change a long time ago link D1nk said, but my games seems to be having a mix of old and new, not sure why. well this old coot was just getting ready to hobble his way to the kitchen to get some grub to eat, but I sat my creeking old bones back down in my chair, fired off ark and headed onto extinction, crawled out of bed, and got on the griffon to fly over to the pen. Took a minute or two but finally got them all to show up for a group photo, sry for the quality, seems abit fuzzy for some reason... but here's the shot:

this whole last week I spent 2hrs a day looking for a giga on official from the center of the island and all around the north east area of the map, and would you believe I couldn't find a single giga to attempt this with? so still no luck, this weekend im going to be spending a lot of time on Extinction, so won't be looking then. one thing did notice, there seems to be a heck of a lot more lvl 5-20 dinos everywhere, even in the hard areas then before. I did notice something with my singleplayer island map vs. official - the tek cave won't allow me to uncryo dino's just inside the entrance, or even outside of it after the doors been opened when I can do that on official. And the one cave that was removed on official in the nw corner of the map for getting a artifact from still exists on my single player map even though it has the new biomes, so something fishy is going on with my single player island map, may have to upload the dino's and items there and delete the save and restart it ===================== What I did in ark today ===================== Today on extinction I found a nice little raised platform with lots of plants on it that was covered, no one had claimed the spot so I quickly threw down pillars on it, then built dino gates and gated it off. After that I proceeded to transfer my baby monkeys over and releasing them all in that pen set to wander. Now my baby monkeys can grow up and feed themselves that saves some time for sure. After they are all grown im gonna pod about half of them and leave the others there. That way when I need monkies I can go back to the pen, wait for a baby to pop, and claim it :), after these guys are grown I think i'll be set on monkeys for awhile though

didn't see any giga on the island today, but was only there for about 1 1/2hrs, then headed to valguero as I hadn't spent much time on that map. I had forgotten about my monkey's on extinction and they all died so gonna have to try to get some new ones. Thankfully all the dino's on valguero were good, just needed abit of food and some tlc other then that, nothing really exciting happened, didn't see much of anything, other then 2 alpha raptors that my giga on the island ate in 3 bites. I'll keep my eyes pealed for one though, i want to try to drown one!

interesting, wonder why those two are still alive on our island map its up in the nw corner 16/22 I believe that they have been swimming around at the bottom of the ocean. good to know on giga though, glad they drown, that's a lot easier then trying to kite them away from a base so you can kill them.

on our island official server, we have a alpha carno, and another dino thats been wandering around at the bottom of the ocean for about a week now, I assumed wild dino's couldn't be drown unless they were torpo'ed

today we did the alpha tek cave, along with 18 other people, and it went well, only one person died and that was due to a disconnect in the lava portion of the tek cave, I thought i was a goner for sure, i got pushed off the edge to the lava, luckly there was a way out as it was right at the last part before you get to the teleporter. we tried to find some OSDs/veins on Extinction but some guy on a mana was flying around to all of them and just activating them and letting them get destroyed, we gave up after a hour of trying, but i did manage to get one blue one that got use more poly, cementing paste and a few cryopods. went to the island and tossed down a dino leash and let free 5 monkey babies, 3 males, and two females, activated the dinoleash and set them all to wander, I figure they will be pretty safe sense they are on herbi island. I'm curious to what will happen to a unclaimed baby when it turns to a adult, will it still be claimable? will it turn wild? I guess i'll find out once these 5 are done growing and produce a baby or two we got pillar blocked on extinction but were able to put up dino gates around the small area we had already marked off with a few small pillars just to keep people from stopping us from working on our house. so we can leave a few dino's inside the gated area while we are there and not be too worried. One of the giga are done cloning, and the griffon clone is done, one more giga clone coming and then those are done, we might clone a reaper next, I have a 207 that hasn't been leveled that has pretty good stats. we'll see what we do next with it. i finished off with tucking some scorpions away in cryo that i had tamed on SE, may take them over to extinction so we have a couple egg layers to make some kibble from, only things I really want to tame there are owls & gacha, but my other tribemates might want to tame something there like a mana or bear, who knows, each their own

spent most the day on extinction, did two element veins and one yellow drop, got 156 element total. we now have 2 giga's cloning and a griffon there, looking forward to seeing them done. it wasn't a exciting day, had some laughs, and one tribe mate now knows what to do for the element veins, hopefully we can take him to do a OSD next time and show him the easy way to complete them. Need to visit my servers this weekend ... think i'll do that tomorrow.

time wasn't a issue, the damage they were doing was. in alpha phase my rex with 32k health and 986 melee was holding out pretty good, he only had a 78 saddle. didn't take any real damage until it was just me and the guy on the yuty. getting to the chamber wasn't a issue, just took our time going there, and pulled the giga into the lava, everything else got ate along the way.

went osd hunting on extinction today, we found 4, first was a blue and gave a decent amount of loot, but mostly wood construction items. Second was a yellow, got a nice bit of cryopods from it but most the items were blue as well as the blueprints, third was a yellow and had a decent amount of loot in it, however one items showed as a "Tek Replicator" when we picked it up, it vanished from our inventory. The last was a red, we were a little freaked as it was the first red we had tried by ourselves, though it went threw as a major success and got quite abit of nice loot from it, but again, another item showed as "Tek Replicator" and as soon as it was picked up, it vanished from our inventory. So this happened twice, we though "oh cool a tek replicator we can use!" but it just turned out to be a cruel joke thrown in our faces not once, but twice by wildcard. After that we headed back to base after deploying some gasbag balloons to take a bunch of the loot back to base. once there we put it all away and called it a night.

it was a slow day today, spent most of it hatching and raising Rexs, and painting rex saddles so I knew who had prim/ramshackle/journeyman/mastercraft. traded 12k worth of organic poly gacha crystals for a Black griffon clone with red underbelly and abit of red on its wings. Thinking about going to extinction and farming some element veins so that I can clone this guy, only 14k shards needed.

ha yeah i know i'd probably fail solo ascension, speaking of, i need to find someone i can join the king titan battle with again still need to finish recovering my character from the great character wipe. The GM helped with getting some of the stuff back and getting all my imprints back so that saved alot of time there, but still need to redo all them bosses. I'd hate to try to do alpha tek cave by myself, still looks pretty difficult, i do need the cave though, as im stuck at level 105 now. Someone offered to take me for a run for 50 element but i didn't have the element and i'd rather join in, cause thats half the fun. So far I have alpha broodmother, alpha ape, beta manticore, and beta dragon done. Soon i'll be heading in to a boss fight on Valguero with a tribe to do the alpha's, so that will get me the Alpha Dragon and Manticore, and the rest of my manticore armor skins :D, then its just rockwell, tek cave, and the titans on Extinction to do

I can see clearly where they went wrong with their venture in the tek cave when it came to the alpha boss, we even had more time then they did in the video to defeat the boss, seems they weren't truthful about doing the alpha "many times", im guessing they did the omega not alpha cave with the method they were using. thanks for the video WarpSpasm, it clearly showed what was done wrong

thats one thing i didn't like about unofficial server, i' d feel like i was finally getting somewhere on them and then poof, the server was gone, never to be seen again. I know some have been around for a while now, but when people try to get me to play on them I tell them im just not into playing on a "here today, gone tomorrow" server.

PVE-Official Cluster Today I started out on the island map and the first thing i did was fed my rexs and owls who were out, then proceeded to transfer across to Valguero as I hadn't been there all weekend. Once there I gathered meat to feed the meat eaters, and afterwards headed to the swamp with my kangaroo to collect berries. The roo is really useful on Valguero, i need to try this on the island as well. Collecting the small dark bushes around the swamp i can get 2k weight in berries in a matter of minutes with him. After gathering the berries I headed back and fed the veggie eaters. After feeding the veggie eaters I logged in with my other computer and hopped on with my crafting character im creating, moved all the narco berries and stimberries up into the chem bench then proceeded to make stimulate and narcotic, at the same time I took a load of tintoberries up and started making medi brew. Another 5 levels added to the character :). I put them back to bed, then with my main character, I transfered out and refreshed the bases on my ragnarok, SE, and two extinction bases. Afterwards I headed onto the server the one tribe wanted me to join with some basic gear of myself and a little bit of ammo, one of the other tribe members was on there and watned to know if i wanted to do a OSD with them so we headed out to a red one. It went pretty fast, both of us standing in opposite directions on each side of the OSD on gigas and just chomping away. The OSD was safe, and it didnt feel like it took more then 10 minutes to do. Afterwards we did a second one, and then a element vein. Once done I headed back to base, put away the gear in a little storage box, and headed to another extinction server. This server has been having alot of bases decay, and we built a little box house there tucked in a corner for transfering in and out. I popped on the second computer and created a new character on that pc for that server, just to make it a bit easier to refresh the little base. it took me 3 attempts to get the character to the base, first time a enraged enforcer back handed me, the second time a group of pissed off little ants chased me for about ever. The final time I managed to get to the front door, almost starving, but made it in safely. after tossing some food out for that character I took my main character back to the island, then logged the second computer out. I finally decided to get Genesis for the second computer, I figure sense Im making the crafting character and already spent the money for the other addon dlc, I might as well grab that too. So I'll be able to take the best crafter out of them to genesis with me, I know its going to come in handy. Once back on the island i set out to do a few chores, when someone needed some help. I set out to aid them but they lost the dino they were trying to tame, I did however drop off some narcotic and a few kibble for them just incase they found another, which they did, but they didn't want to tame the one they found, as it was in too dangerous of a area, and they were just starting out, well, had a small base and a few dinos. Back at their base the door had been blocked off by a tek raptor, i thought i had my sniper rifle out at first and shot it twice, down it went... oops... that was my tranq gun... lol... "you want a raptor?" "sure!" they replied. So i tossed some kibble in it and boom it was tamed.... wait.. it was 5hrs past 2x, but it was still on. They decided to tame a anky, and while they knocked it out and tamed it, i took out 3 allo's and 2 carnos that were close by with my sniper rifle. I spotted a little doedic, only lvl 40, and asked them if they wanted it, they did but didn't have a way to get it back sense they were taming a anky, told them "i got a cryo pod :)" and pulled it over to the side the anky was on. once it calmed I healed it with my owl, then proceeded to knock it out, 4 tranqs later to the face, down it went. They took their anky back to their base while i waited on the doedic to tame, right after they left, 6 raptors and 5 saber spawned within range of the doedic, I quickly argoed them all and pulled them into the ocean, once all of them were swimming i just sat there on the owl attacking, and killed them all off one by one. 15 minutes later, the doedic was tamed and took it back to their base, on the way back i saw a 110 theri, and tried to pull it, a second theri joined in the chase, but i kept pulling, 1/2 way to where i was trying to get them to a nice spot to tame, one gave up chase and wouldn't join back in, so i kept pulling the one, thinking it was the 110. Once i got it to the spot I started knocking it out, after 4 tranq's it started running away, I took aim down my sites thinking "this is too easy" and it it one last time, down it went. I went over to see what it was I knocked out it turned out to be a level..... 5 lol.... the other person wanted it anyhow, so 5 kibble later and 30 narco, it was tamed. I gave them a giga for a little bit of base defense, nothing fancy, it started as a level 20 and it had been passed through 3 different tribes already. I also tossed out 25 metal spike walls so that they could throw them up to block the open spots on their unfinished wall to at least keep out the carno and raptors from their small base. I felt I did something nice, helping the player and giving them the one dino, and a bit of flak armor that came from my gacha, they appreciated it. after all that I decided to call it a day and headed off... a productive day. Now to go watch that video WarpSpasm found for me! Thanks mate

today i set out to make some organic poly from my gacha for the trade deal i had worked out, so I pulled out a iguanodon i had tamed in abberation who i had named "Fingers", he wasn't the highest level guy but at the time he worked for berries. I parked fingers over by the gacha and hopped atop the bronto, I didn't care what berries I got just as long as I got alot of them, and just a few minutes later, 3k of bronto weight filled with berries, a little thatch n' wood. I started pulling the berries off the bronto and using fingers masterful skills had him turn all the berries into seeds. I shoved the seeds into the Gacha who already were half full with owl pellets, and they promptly started chomping away and making me crystals. By the time all was said and done, i had 400 crystals, at 30 poly per crystal, i was sure that was more then enough. A Tribe said they were going to do the alpha tek cave and invited anyone who wanted to come, I decided to join them but not before breeding the rex that I was going to take with me. I grabbed a set of armor my gacha had given me earlier while making poly, and 200 medi brew just to be safe. and flew off to the tek cave to meet up with the tribe. they were doing a little prep work before they headed in and i just followed the lead, as I had never done the tek cave before. As we got to through the first part, everything seemed to be going pretty good, didn't seem as tough as what people were saying it was, and only 3 giga were encountered on the way in. we got to the teleporter, and headed in to the main arena, everything looked like it was going great. one inside they led us to the eplorers note in the chamber then shortly after the battle started. Not knowing what I was to do, i just followed what everyone else was doing and defended the yuty so it could keep the rexs buffed. It seemed to be going okay, but, i was watching the timer, and not enough damage was being done to the boss in corilation to how much time was left. when it rolled down to the last 5 minutes, most of the other players rex were dead, and when it hit the end of the counter, everyone was dead and all the dinos, except me and my rex, the counter went to -10 then vanished, I was still inside, and so was my rex, but he was almost dead, i knew he was lost, so I hopped off the seat, whistled attack my target and ran behind a pillar. The rex battled bravely to its last breath, but... i was still alive... and alone... with the boss... for about 5 minutes, i wasn't taking any damage, what was going on? I tried to find a way out but at lass, there wasn't any, and after that 5 minutes passed, i started taking damage again.. so I promptly ran up to the boss and started punching him, i knew i was a goner but by god i was gonna get a few good blows in. and then... i died. I'm guessing they didn't have rexes with high enough melee for the boss, its the only thing i could think of that caused the loss of the battle. there at the end i did a good 1/4th damage to the dragon form of it, so it really was the only thing i could think of. I'm going to watch some videos of the tek cave, hopefully i can find some legit official battles and not ones where people have cheats enabled in order to beat it. After i was out, i thanked the other tribe for the experience then left the temp alliance they made to get everyone in, and headed home. once back home, i sorted abit of stuff, and looked in my armor chest thinking 'im glad i took some stuff the gacha gave me today'. I fed all the rexs and then carted 4 off across the river to breed them with the neighboring tribe, perhaps i'll get some even higher melee rexs out of it. Put the eggs away, did one more meat run, and cooked up some meat as my fridge was almost empty, then made some more medi brew while i waited for that to cook up. One of my friends who is a tribe member on Valguero called out to me asking for some help to retrieve some dino's from the ice cave up in the north west corner, I grabbed some gear, and 1/2 the medi brew i had just cooked up and headed over to his base taking a shortcut with the teleporter. He loaned me a rex to use while we headed in, and told me what to expect as we went in, saying "well probably die if we get hit". Keeping a watchful eye as we headed in I could see there were alot of perlovia in there, i hate those guys, always leaping and knocking you off your dino... didn't know they had a 'daze' feature now when they knock you off though. for the most part we did really well heading in, neather of us got knocked off, and took hardly any damage, we came to a spot where we had to put the rex away, and go on foot, and thats when a theri came running up, freaked me out but luckly, it was my friends! one down, 5 to go, the next dino we found was his other theri, then his snow owl which he healed everyone up with. by the time we go to where his rexs were they had gone poof... rip rexs. we rode the theri out most of the way only needing to cryo them once. I got knocked off twice, one time i thought for sure i was dead, but managed to get back on the theri with a sliver of health left and promptly drank a bunch of medi brew, the second time wasn't so bad as the theri had the perlovia blocked from hitting me. my friend got knocked off his once, i tried to warn him before it leeped but i was too slow of a typer. we made it out safely. As a reward for helping him get his dino's back he let me keep the loaner rex, a nice black and gold tek rex. i was happy to keep it, he also let me keep a sniper rifle and the bullets, and gave me a bit of loot from the cave. that was a fun adventure. not all days are totally productive, but all days are learning experiences. Its been a long day, and I headed back up to my bed and decided to call it a day, laying back thinking on the days events.

today I joined another tribe on another Extinction server, helped move some items around the base, and brought them some stuff i had crafted to help make the base better, even gave them a few velon eggs to help build up exterior defenses. after helping move stuff around for abit, my tribemates on the main server called me over to do a boss fight. We were short abit on stuff to do the boss so one tribe member headed out to grab the missing stuff, and i ventured to a friends base, after a long friendly conversation i had worked a deal for the missing tribute, and getting a black wyvern with a red underbelly. He also gave me a nice doedic and thyla too, i was thrilled new breeding lines! After goodbyes I headed back to base. We collected up our armor and food items, along with a little medi brew and figured we were set... we set out to do the alpha ape, as two of my tribemates didn't have him yet, so after spending yesterday tossing all the rexs out from cryo to find the best ones, we loaded up the teleporter and took them all over to the green obelisk. it seems it has become the spot for people to park dinos, surrounded with wyvern, ptera, griffon, rex a few other odd ended dinos, even a phoenix, but we managed to push our rexs in and get them all setup for transport in. I explained the tatics for doing the ape before we went in and asked if everyone knew their part, "aye, ready when you are", so i loaded up the tributes and in we headed. the first thing i hear once im inside is "you want me to start buffing with yuty?" (facepalm) "no, get your rex against the wall here then go pull ape to rex" (laughter) .. okay pulling my leg where ya? so he heads up the bridge and almost fell off going up to pull ape "careful! don't fall off that bridge!". Once he got pulled down to the rex, that was game over, the rex easily killed the ape, and only a couple took any damage, it was down in 4 minutes. Once back at base I joke with the yuty rider, tossing him 5 element "thats all you get!" lol, he pulled out his shotgun and proceeded to try to kill me, I laughed. After he was done trying to kill me I tossed him another 50 element and gave the last 55 to the other tribemate. I'd already done the alpha myself, and sense they needed it, figured splitting the element between them was a good idea, that way the could make some tek suit pieces if they wanted to. After the long process of parking all the rexs back inside the building, I headed out and gathered meat to feed them all. once fed the rexs I decided to call it a day, knowing I need to get alot of polymer and obsidian the following day I figured its best if I get well rested, So i laid down on my bay view bed and drifted off to sleep watching the sun set on the horizon.

Official Valguero - Today I after getting on i launched the second pc and added that character to the tribe, sitting them in front of the grinder and chem station making flint, thatch, and narco, getting them all the way to level 45 before stopping with them. It'll be a crafting character for the tribe, that way we won't have to do mind wipes anymore. Going to take advantage of this 2x weekend with it and see if i can't get it all the way up to 90. While that one was busy at the grinder and chem station, i set off on the main valguero character to collect more stone and wood with the rock elemental, as its pretty easy in the chalk hills with him. afterwards I headed to the swamp and gathered more berries, was mainly after narco but brought back the other berries to top off the feeding bins for all the berry eaters who promptly returned the favor with a nice pile of eggs. After gathering meat for the rest of the dinos, I decide to do a little building, and one of my tribe members headed off to the scar to get some milk. shortly after he arrived there I heard across the radio "Fire wyverns are back!" and about 20 minutes later "I'm Dead!" I noticed he was out on his wyvern and asked if it was okay, "its got 200 health left!". it seems he got chased by 5 firewyvern from the scar, and after losing them he landed only to have a giga rundown on him and a rock golem pop up, not being able to take off due to stam, he was sure he was dead, but they managed to get back home. Were raising two wyverns at the moment, a 190 and a 185, the 185 came out almost all white, with a little grey on it, the 190 is white with light blue spikes and top of head, its so pretty, were hoping these ones don't vanish like the previous two babies did, a 150 and 155. I put them away after imprinting, and feeding them the last bit of milk. They seem happy, after all, they wanted cuddles. Afterwards, i headed to the island for abit, sat just feeding the gacha to make element for the tek geny to keep the feeding troughs there going, 40 element later all was good. topped off the feeding troughs and cryoed up the dinos at the outpost bringing them back to the main base to make feeding a bit simpler. I did abit of sorting of mats in containers to make it a little easier to craft some new structure pieces for building at valguero once transfers open up. I'm going to need a lot more pieces to finish off the base there. Sat at the steam page thinking about about purchasing Genesis for the second computer as well, thinking it may be nice to have a crafting character there too ready to use when the tribe needs it. Still debating.

if that happened i'd turn it into a velon trap, and just sit waiting for them to fall in to tame, maybe build the house a little further off. sounds rough though!
