The other side of this argument is that there is already too much power creep on official. It's hard to find the right balance that will make everyone happy. Of course on our own cluster we match 3x taming with 15x breeding and it seems to be the right rate for most players. Something like this might be an official endgame idea when most bloodlines are maxed anyway.
