  1. I've been digging through patch notes and can't locate WHEN they nerfed fishing. Does anyone have a link?
  2. If you have a place to host the program it will work fine with ANY Steam Ark host that allows rcon. Everything it does is through rcon to the servers. You'd have to ask gportal if they can host the bot. If they don't you just need a Windows or Linux machine available that runs 24/7 connected to the Internet. You can rent a starter VPS from a place like OVH for about $3.50/month that would work. Or even buy an older model Raspberry Pi off of eBay to run it from home.
  3. Do you remember when they nerfed the fishing?
  4. I still haven't run the update. Things like this are why I have an update script that I run by hand. No automation for updates at all.
  5. Is the breeding boost going to affect (break) already boosted unofficial servers?
  6. They skip doing Linux builds whenever they please. It's happening now. Linux servers are stuck at 304.451 while official/Windows are at 304.457. This leaves out the anti-mesh false positive fixes and at least one bug that allows people to crash maps at will --- actually, it just makes the maps completely unresponsive, it's not an actual crash so they don't get automatically restarted by systemd if run as services. You have to notice that the map can't be connected to then do a force halt and restart by hand. I can't find any info on how far behind Linux builds lag or how often it happens.
  7. I haven't seen any event lags and JUST noticed the patch lag because of the re-fertlizer bug.

  9. SE --- you mean the DLC they dropped and made people pay for while the actual game was still in PRE-RELEASE?
  10. Having seen what's been happening with the last several patches and events what makes you believe the delayed release will be "less buggy"? LOL! They have crashed the entire network of servers including all platforms AND official servers and had them unplayable for extended amounts of time with event releases --- this is a huge DLC release. So, release some time on the 25th followed by hourly, then daily, patches for a week or more so everybody can actually play the game again.
  11. When turned off you broke it for unofficials. We tend to run events until a new one is started but Raptor Clause is gone. Only Gacha Clause and colors remain active. We are a small population server so the package stealing animosity was not an issue at all. Be nice if Raptor Clause would be reactivated in the event code.
  12. Well, if he tests again, let me know. I'm just going to script around it by keeping a list of IDs like the http: one and running a ban script across the IDs every few days to make sure the local file stays updated.
  13. Is his server set up with multiple maps using a single ShooterGameServer exe and a single set of .ini files or is he running each map as a separate instance? Mine has everything shared.
