  1. Oh I absolutely love this guy, the moa! When I first started out on Ark I was so fascinated by the terror birds, the flightless bipedal murder birdies, but I've always been a little disappointed that there wasn't a whole lot that you could do with them.

The moa on the other hand would be fantastic! A non-conventional taming experience, functionality, and unique appearance which ultimately doesn't make it ridiculously overpowered or ambitious. Not to mention he would fit perfectly in Scorched Earth, providing a fun means of transportation through the map. Love it. Great suggestion. Will definitely be voting for this guy.

    Good luck, mate :)

Edit: In response to those saying it is useless, I disagree. I play on Official PVE and Solo and yet I can easily see myself using the moa plenty. The platform saddle may only fit a bed and/or smithy, but with its speed and AOE attacks it will make for a wonderful tame whenever you need a convenient transport for excursions: Drop collecting, land surveying/exploring, egg carrying for when breeding or snagging eggs on the fly, etc. I think it'll be a fun addition overall, for new or old players.

That is the biggest excuse i ever seen , ive played online games for decades and when a cheater is spotted they are taken care of quite fast unlike wildcard here but yet its perfectly acceptable for the delay as players that never have been affected by cheaters give them a free pass to take their time on fixing major exploits in the map etc .

Ive played games that had tens of thousands of players on at any given time such as blizzard games , eve online as well as other massive populated games that dwarf ark(max i ever seen was 40-60k players on at a given time) yet they never had players trying to make excuses for the devs saying "its a online game and any can play/hack into it" which literally hurts the playerbase due to attitudes like this.  Yes any can hack into online games but theres alot of difficulty often and anticheat software is often alerted quickly but heres the thing with ark , the biggest issue right now is meshing which is just exploiting a hole in the map so no hacking is required which they dont do much about .  There needs to be a kill barrier like that already exists to a point such as the barrier if you are carried by a bird or anything and mesh into the ground you will either die or rubberband out but this seems to be only in particular areas for some reason .

I helped fix an entire region on the island (found tons of holes in the area during EA) so the barrier iam talking about is real and can easily be used across all the map to fix the problem of meshing.

I mean of course, but I'm not saying it as an excuse, I just understand that not all game developers have access to the same tools used to combat things like cheaters/hackers. Either they don't have the tools, time, skill, or care to fix issues like that, or all of the above. I'm just tired of seeing people say "These devs don't care about ARK."

@Jen When is wildcard going to act against meshers ,cheaters , stalkers/harassers (thanks to you allowing players to be tracked by various websites/programs).

How many bases lost ,thousands of hours lost , cheaters being allowed just because its legacy (cheating is cheating regardless of where its at) and players stalked is it going to take for wildcard to stop these problems from happening ?

I asked in a ticket that has been weeks since i submitted them without proper response on these issues i listed above in particular how to "legitly" defend against meshers without also getting in trouble since one must mesh as well to defend against cheaters in first place since the mesh allows damage on one side and not on other .

They can't exactly stop "cheaters". Its an online multiplayer game where anyone can play and hack into. It's at least not an easy thing to stop people from doing on an online server.

  4. Today I gathered all of my highest level dinos in each of their class and took them from the Southern Shores (where I have been keeping them until I can find a proper place to set up a base) to the Hidden Lake. A reason I took these specific dinos to the Hidden Lake is because one: I wanted to level them up and have them gather more meat, and two: I'm thinking about building the new base in the HL.

Everything was going fine until I reached the entrance to the HL though...I realized that one of my dinos was missing...my female yutyrannus. So I had to take my dino pack, turn around, and go back the way I came. Damn. GUESS WHERE I FOUND THIS B**** AT? Stuck on a DAMN rock at the Southern Shores! But I couldn't stay mad because it's a fluffy rex, running in a rock. So cute.

Anyway, we finally got to the HL and now I'm going to hell because I murdered a cute beaver couple. THE END.

  5. Well today I went scouting around the map for a good piece of land to build a new base, and on my way back home I passed through a part of the map I never go to...only to discover a long-lost group of dinos I thought had glitched and despawned. I did manage to safely get them all back home to my other dinos in the end. Afterwards, I reorganized them into their groups and set up some lights around the perimeter so they can all be well lit at night. I'm currently contemplating whether or not I should really take them to some new land since it's pretty far away, but I think my next step will be finding a mate for my Allo and measuring my dinos so I can build some sort of protected enclosure for them.
