  1. Ty for comment, I was in a bit of a rush when I first made the post, so this comment helped a lot.
  2. We have Troodon in the game and other non existent species. It's a potentially dubious species with no true confirmation yet. If you want Icthyovenator, you can always submit it yourself.
  3. Presenting: Gojirasaurus - The True King Of The Titans Gojirasaurus is named after the most famous movie monster of all time, Godzilla, naturally I wanted to base abilities around Godzilla whilst giving its own taste to it. Gojirasaurus lived during the Triassic Period and was named after the famous movie monster because its the largest known theropod which lived during the Triassic. It was roughly around 19-20 feet long. Dossier Wild: Gojirasurus, a Regal creature which trots around carefree with reason too! This predator from the Triassic era has adapted to the wastelands of Extinction, for some reason you can see it gorging on element (I have no idea why), perhaps its to do with how fast its prey dies? Like Modern day Chameleons, Gojirasaurus can change colour when presented with certain stimuli, I do not know why it does this, perhaps its due to the sap trees? Tamed: Gojirasaurus makes for a reliable boss amount, I have seen survivors enter the titan’s arenas only for a few minutes to pass and they come out unscathed with the bounty from the Titans. Whilst not many people like taming these creatures, they provide the unique ability to harvest crystalized tree sap and convert it to other useful items. It is wise to wear protective gear when riding your tame, as Gojirasaurus seems to emanate radiation, this goes for both the rider and any enemy you decide to fight. Taming: To tame Gojirasaurus, you must wear a Protective suit whilst having any Titan trophy in your inventory and some element. Approach your chosen target, throw the trophy on the floor, the Gojirasaurus will approach it and grab onto the trophy and starts to chew on it, as it does this, sneak behind it then mount it, as you have now mounted it, the Gojirasaurus will go berserk, running in all directions, as this is happening, feed it element until its tamed. Item Converter: Gojirasaurus can convert any of these items into different items: - Element can be converted to element dust with a 25% transaction cost, meaning 1 element will give you 750 dust. - Red Crystalized Sap can be converted into Health Brews. - Blue Crystalized Sap can be converted into Bio Toxin. - Green Gems can be converted into Narcotics. Boss Fighting Mechanic: Whenever in the near vicinity of a titan or boss, Gojirasaurus gains a damage and defence bonus, this is to reflect the King Of The Monsters title which Godzilla has. You will know when this is active as its back spikes will start to glow. For the cost of 200 Element, you can supersize your Gojirasaurus to become a Kaiju the size of a Giga, so your small travel companion becomes an AoE damaging machine to help with the harder OSD's. It will still retain the boss fighting mechanics in this form. (Gojirasaurus Kaiju form credit to RiskyBiscuit!) Radioactive Mechanics Whilst Element is in its inventory, Gojirasaurus bite attack will apply a radioactive debuff to anything it hits, how much radioactivity depends on how much Oxygen the Gojirasaurus has, the higher the Oxygen the more longer lasting the effects are. This makes Protective suits a lot more useful on other maps. Feeding Prime Meat to Gojirasaurus whilst its radioactive will cause it to craft Irradiated Meat, this meat when force fed to a tame will boost the chances of mutations occurring in offspring, however whilst with this buff, your creature will take 50% extra damage from any nearby damage source. Uses: - Boss Fighter - Item Converter - Travel Mount - Underwater Mount? - PvP Mount - Element Harvester - Sap Harvester - Temporary Transforming Tame - Radiation Immune - Mutation Booster All Gojirasaurus will not obey unless you have a boss kill or titan kill in your specimen implant. More Infor on Gojirasaurus here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gojirasaurus
  4. This isn't as large as it seems, it's around Velo sized which is like the middle size of the current Theropods in Ark. But thank you for the compliment!
  5. I very much appreciate comments like these, and I assure you that this submission will appear in a future vote.
  6. Presenting Dracovenator - The Poisonous Blood Squirting Drake Mimic Dracovenator is an extinct species of Dilophosauridae, it lived during the Jurassic period and it was roughly 5.5-6.5m tall, around the size of a Velonasaur. It was more than likely a carnivore due to its heritage. Dracovenator's name means Dragon Hunter, isn't that cool! I chose to give Dracovenator a skin and abilities which reflect the Amazonian Poison Dart Frog and Horned Lizard, this would allow a realistic and believable approach to the creature whilst also making it unique to Aberration. Dracovenator Dossier Wild: Dracovenator, a volatile deadly hunter, a creature most adapted to the dangers of Aberration. I have noticed these intelligent hunters casually walking past Drakes, the Drakes themselves pay no attention to them as if they were one of their own. Like Modern day Dart Frogs, Dracovenator is not fond of being hunted by other creatures, so it has adapted a unique behaviour where it rolls in mushrooms which gives it a poisonous layer of fluid. Most predators which do attack Dracovenator, end up fleeing due to the toxicity of this fluid layer. Tamed: Dracovenator is a great addition to any tribe, providing a reliable way of getting your first rock drake eggs. Most passive tribes tend to use Dracovenators unique behaviour to prevent tribes from using large creatures to attack them. Taming Dracovenator has a unique passive taming method which relies on you dropping mushrooms in front of it, it will then proceed to follow you, you must guide it to a mushroom patch, once it is at the mushroom patch it will do a unique animation where it will roll around in the mushrooms, during this time you must feed it mutton or kibble. Attacks And Stats Primary Attack (Left Click) : Normal Bite Attack, alternates with different animations. Will do roughly 36 base damage. Secondary Attack ( Right Click) : This is the ability where Dracovenator will roll in mushrooms, this gives Poison Armour. Pressing this again will perform the shake action which leaves AoE damaging pools of Poison. This would scale with the amount of damage Dracovenator has. Tertiary Attack (Click C) : This is Dracovenators Poison Claw ability where it will attack with its claws which gives the target, a damage debuff, a slow and damage over time. Pseudo Climbing (Tap Space) : When you are near a ledge, tap space and Dracovenator will perform an animation where it will be able to climb down, you cannot climb up with this ability. Health: 460 Stamina: 340 Oxygen: 200 Food: 2000 Weight: 400 Melee: 100 (36 damage at base) Bloodshot Ability When you think you are in peril and there's no mushrooms nearby, Dracovenator has a secret ability, as you are being attacked there will be a rage meter which builds up, once reached you can activate the Bloodshot ability, this ability automatically targets the aggressor and squirts blood at them, this produces a fear debuff which makes the aggressor runaway. This ability is inspired by the Horned Lizard. Abilities And Uses Dracovenator has quite a few unique abilities for its arsenal, from being a poisonous deterrent to being an egg thief. Poisonous Skin: As said earlier Dracovenator will roll in mushrooms which gives it a poisonous layer of fluid, during this time however you, the rider, are immune to radiation as it works similar to a mushroom brew but with a mush more potent effect, Dracovenator is naturally immune to radiation as it likes to visit its drake buddies now and then. Blood Squirt: This will cause Dracovenator to spray blood from its eyes in self defense. Drake Mimic: Due to its naming I thought that Dracovenator being a Drake Mimic would be a cool idea. This would allow Dracovenator to run pass Drakes whilst not being agro'd. Egg Stealer: Dracovenator is perfect for stealing your first Drake eggs, climbing down into the nests similar to the like of Deinonychus but you can only go down, when you are at an egg, use the attack button and the Drake egg will be collected by your Dracovenator which will prevent the Drakes from detecting you. Shake Ability: Dracovenator when covered by the mushroom fluid can shake its body to remove the fluid, during this, the fluid flings into AoE damaging pools of goop. Torpor Immunity: Due to Dracovenators excessive behaviour, it is immune to the effects of torpor. Traversal Mount: Dracovenator is a swift predator being able to run away from most would be aggressors.
  7. Say Hello To Naja Romani aka the Glowbra! What is Naja Romani? Naja Romani is an extinct species of Cobra which lived during the Miocene of Europe. Why is the Glowbra suited for Aberration? Glowbra will be a large shoulder pet dedicated for utility using the resources from Aberration, it would have a whole host of abilities from scaring away larger predators to being a flash bang just in case if you are stuck in a sticky situation! I decided to go with glowing features and such during the design as Aberration is all about the weird and unique. Naja Romani Dossier Wild: Naja Romani, a serpent adapted for the vast cave system known as Aberration. I’ve spotted Naja show interesting behaviour by using its chromatophores in its adapted to scales to produce an alluring display of flashing lights, once the prey is within striking distance, Naja quickly turns around to blind the prey. Like Modern day Butterflies, Naja has a set of eyes on the back of its hood which it uses to fool would be predators, but if the predator strays to close, Naja can turn around in an instant to blind the predator so it can hastily escape and get to safety. Tamed: Survivors have been using Naja to help with various activities and items. Whether it be helping to carry gems or to help tame other creatures with its unique blinding ability. Naja is a must for any tribe as it has a habit of collecting eggs as it its their own clutch. How to tame the Glowbra? Naja has adapted a taste for other glowpets, whilst near Naja throw your shoulder mounted glowpet, don't worry your Glowpet will not be killed unless you mess up, as Naja approaches your Glowpet start sneaking up behind it, it's hoods eyes will be red before taming, you cannot feed it at this point, allow Naja to start munching your Glowpet, as this happens it's eyes will turn green which means you can feed it mutton or kibble, Naja will then release you Glowpet but be careful as soon as your Glowpet falls unconscious, Naja will consume it and you will lose taming efficiency, so be sure to bring more than one Glowpet. Abilities Glowbra uses the resources introduced into Aberration to give it unique abilities based on each one, the harder to get gems give the better abilities. You can use your hot wheel to access Glowbras inventory or to select which spit to use, as well as the normal glowing function. With the addition of a threatening display to scare off any large predators for a brief time. Naja can use its full charge or whatever is left to produce a flash bang effect similar to that of the monster from Monster Hunter World, Tzitzi-Ya-Ku. Green Gems being the easiest to get allows your Glowbra to spit at enemies using your crosshair as a reference, this will give a blinding slowing effect similar to a Dilophosaurus. This also changes your Glowbras glow into a green colour. Blue Gems being the second hardest to get will be very handy at helping you tame creatures, aim at the desired target and it will spit at it, which will give torpor to the desired target. Torpor is based on the Glowbras melee stat. This also changes your Glowbra into a blue glow. Red being the hardest to get, lets your Glowbra spit a necrotic venom which deals damage over time to the target (around 5%) and also slows them. This changes your Glowbra into a red glow. Extra After collecting Drake feathers, you can make an Aztec styled feathered serpent deity armour for your Glowbra, you can find blueprints for this. More information on Naja Romani can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naja_romani
  8. We have a snake which is depicted incorrectly, this is trying to correct that depiction. We only have Titanoboa, Basilisk does not count as it's a mythical creature.
  9. Exactly, utility Dino's are what we need over more op Dino's.
  10. What is Gigantophis? Gigantophis is an extinct species of constrictor, living around 40 million years ago, it was the largest snake discovered until Titanoboa was found. Gigantophis was roughly around 35 feet long putting it near Whale Shark sized! Gigantophis were believed to of fed on the early relatives of elephants called Moeritherium. More Information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gigantophis Gigantophis Dossier Wild: Gigantophis Comprimens unlike Titanoboa exornantur prefers to spend its days basking in the sunlight waiting for its next meal. This immensely large snake prefers to constrict its prey crushing every single bone in its body, once it has its coils wrapped around you, there is no way of escape, just death. This creature is regularly seen preying upon the likes of Paraceratherium, Stegosaurus and even Triceratops but it won't pass up the opportunity to grab a nearby survivor. Tamed: Whilst tamed Gigantophis is a viable asset, I have seen survivors using it as sort of upgraded chain bola which holds creatures in place but due to Gigantophis constrictor nature, it slowly crushes the creature. Personally I have been using mine as a sort of make-do tent protecting me from the elements, it is a terrifying thought but the babies are so cute with their little goofy smiles, you will get immediately attached to them. (Working on Dossier) Behaviour Due to Gigantophis being a predator, it is highly aggressive, and relentless. It will attack any survivor or tame which is within reach of its thick coils. They are mainly found in marshlands and open plains (when nesting). A nesting mother will not attack unless you are very close to it. Appearance Gigantophis looks like a modern day Anaconda but super sized, they tend to be solitary and ambush their prey with thick coils which disable prey, if the prey is larger than it, they bite it with their rows of needle teeth preventing the prey from moving. Taming Gigantophis is a passive tame and requires special precaution. It is advised to bring tames with high hp which you don't mind losing for example Moschops'. You must first find a mother Gigantophis coiled around its nest, the level of the mother represents the level of eggs inside the nest. Whistle your Moschops towards the mother, the mother will agro to the Moschops and start to coil then kill it, you must keep sending Moschops until the mother's taming effectiveness is at 100%. Once it is at 100%, the mother will spawn an egg and you must send one more Moschops to distract the mother from the egg. Gigantophis mother go up to level 225. Combat It is advised to use high ground against Gigantophis with a decent shotgun or use a large tame which deals a lot of damage, so you do not get constricted by Gigantophis. Attacks Primary: Is a bite attack which deals bleed damage similar to the Deinonychus. Secondary: Coil attack which coils around creatures and hold it in place, you must press the button again to start constricting, inhibiting their movement whilst giving a bone break effect after a while and slowly increases in damage as time passes. Tertiary: Latch attack, only for large creatures, you bite and latch onto the creature then press the coil button to start constricting the creature. You can also just use it to slow down your target. Abilities - PvP Soaker counter: Gigantophis can hold soaker in place preventing their movement so you can kill them more easily. Whilst constricting, if Gigantophis is damaged, it will let go and leave the tame with a bone break effect. Movement restrict: Gigantophis can latch on to large creatures like gigas and slow/prevent their movement allowing you to kill them easier. Unaffected by picking: Due to Gigantophis being so low to the ground and the position of the rider, you are immune to creatures like Desmodus picking you off your mount. Tank: Due to Gigantophis' girth, it has a large hp value and can take quite a lot of hits, this is especially useful against hard hitting tames. Abilities - PvE Make-do Shelter: Ever had that horrible feeling of not being able to get back to your base in time when servers are about to update, well Gigantophis acts as a shelter and bed, all you have to do is access its option wheel and choose the shelter option, whilst in this mode Gigantophis gains the apex buff meaning you will be mostly safe. Egg Collector: Gigantophis is a necessity for breeders who aren't at base, Gigantophis will collect your fertilized eggs while you're away and keep them safe until you need them. Boss Fighter: Due to Gigantophis hp stat and its decent damage, it is a viable candidate for any boss fight. Underwater Mount: When Gigantophis is in the water it gains a significant speed buff and it does not lose oxygen. Meatrunner: Gigantophis is a reliable meat runner being able to carry a lot of meat without getting encumbered! Tame Helper: Using Gigantophis coil attack, you can reliably hold most creatures down so you can tranq them out. Snake Bridge: Acts as a bridge between 2 rock faces, for easier traversal with other creatures.
  11. What is Keresdrakon? Keresdrakon is a species of Azhdarchid, it was around the size of a Quetzal, would've been most likely an opportunistic carnivore. It lived during the Cretaceous period with what is now known as Brazil. Why should vote you for Keresdrakon in Ragnarok? Keresdrakon would be a great addition to Ragnarok, Male Keresdrakon will be the fighters of the species providing a unique flyer experience, whilst the females of the species care for babies whilst also producing a less optimal Wyvern milk for Wyvern babies. More will be explained on the male and female Keresdrakon further into the post. Whilst also being a handy safe logging shelter. Keresdrakon Dossier Wild: The looming hunter, Keresdrakon, as large as the Islands native species Quetzalcoatlus. Unlike the Quetzal, Keresdrakon prizes itself in its adept aerial prowess, while you may be fooled to think its a slow hunter, I’ve seen this creature fight Wyverns and overtake them in aerial combat. Tamed: Keresdrakon is a valuable tame for any tribe on the Ragnarok, Keresdrakon will provide shelter for you and your tribe mates. Most tribes I’ve seen use Keresdrakon to fight Alpha Wyverns to get the milk from within it. Behaviour Whilst not at a nest you can see wild Keresdrakon looming high in the skies, unlike the Quetzal, they are aggressive and will attack if you get too close. When at a nest, you can find pairs of Keresdrakon which normally won't attack unless provoked. Taming To tame Keresdrakon, you must climb to the peaks of Ragnarok, there you will find pairs trying to finish their nests. At first you will notice its an ordinary nest with nothing special, but that's where you come in, you have to help make the nest, you will need Wyvern talons and Rex arms, as well as plenty of wood. You are first prompted with the female asking for wood, depending on the level of the female depends on the amount of wood. After you have given the female wood, you must give the male your trophies as he will recognise you as a capable hunter, much like itself. After those few things are done, the female will promptly lay an egg, and you can pick up the egg. Combat To fight a Keresdrakon, it is advised to chain bola them due to their lack of ground movement then use a high damaging tame or weapon and start hurting it. Attacks Primary: Beak attack, you can rapidly press it for DPS or hold it down to perform an alternate attack which skewers smaller dinos, instantly killing them, or causes large damage and bleed to anything over a certain carry weight. Secondary: Barrel Roll which causes large damage and knockback. Tertiary: While grounded, this attack will make Keresdrakon slap with its wing causing heavy knockback and a brief stun. While airborne this attack will just be a grab to move players or tames under a certain carry weight. Flak Saddle Keresdrakon has a unique flak saddle which has 2 mounted mini guns attached to it, as well as the inventory providing insight to what you need for the bosses of the map you are currently on, so you do not need to travel to obelisks just to check if you have everything. This saddle also is a 2 seater. Male and Female Mechanics Male: The male unlike the female is more damaging, with a unique rage mechanic where when you take lots of damage the Keresdrakon will enter a rage mode which does not dismount you but it increases the males damage output as well as its speed, turning it into a power house of a flyer. Female: The female is there to care for your babies, imprinting on them for you whilst you're out of base (this does not work if you are offline), she also likes to collect other species eggs as if they were here own, she organises them into a nice neat pile, if you give the female a Wyvern talon, she produces milk for that species of Wyvern, so fire talon means Fire Milk. Roles Boss Fighter: Due to Keresdrakon's power, using a few for the Manticore fight should make it easier. Taming Mount: Due to the 2 seater saddle, you can have a tribemate shoot from the back to knockout other creatures. Fertilised Egg Collector: Stated above, the female collects eggs. Milk Provider: Stated above, the female produces milk based on what Talon you give it. Travel Mount: Due to its stamina pool and speed, Keresdrakon makes for an excellent travel mount. Boss Tribute Farmer: Due to the males power, hunting down Wyverns and other apex's should be fairly easy. Wyvern Egg Stealer: Being able to out manoeuvre and kill Wyverns, Keresdrakon makes for the ultimate nest raider. Dogfighter: Due to the speed and strength behind Keresdrakon, you can easily fight off multiple Wyverns without much worry. Boss Saddle: The saddle provides a unique take which shows what you need for each boss fight without needing to head to a terminal to constantly check. Mobile Shelter: Keresdrakon will open its wings and close them around you, to secure your safe log. Whilst in this position, it gains the Apex buff, so smaller creatures will not attck you. For more information on Keresdrakon, please use this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keresdrakon
