  1. Hello, I really like my new Companion Sir-5rM8, but unfortunately it is not working as intended and I really have my doubts that the Bugs ever will get fixed. Farming: 9/10 times he doesn't drop the stuff he farms into the designated box, linked box what ever.. For example, if I use him to farm metal and put a box near him, most of the time he doesn't drop the stuff in the box and just goes into afk mode near the box. Of course he can access the box and the resources in the box are also set correctly. I can't force him to unload either, I can only take the stuff from his inventory. Then he runs away and starts collecting new resources. He also often overloads and then goes afk, which shouldn't happen on an official server with normal rates. Butlering: I built a few bots and they seemed to work well, sorting stuff from various sources (vaults, forges, boxes) into my wall of dedicated boxes. But after a while they started getting stuck in each other and just stopped doing anything. So I had to remove all but one. This one has various tasks, such as unloading a drop off vault. But this vault doesn't seem to interest him at all, he never takes stuff out from it. But he fetches things from other boxes that are not entered as a resource in its resource table, such as oil. At least he sorts it into the designated dedi box. I also added metal as a resource to the forges, set it up in the bot and gave him access to the metal dedi box. But he doesn't care about that. It never takes anything from the metal dedi box and puts it in the forge, at least he is unloading metal ingots from the forge into the dedi box. The linked box we set up is also of no interest to him, he never takes anything out of that linked box. So farming stuff, putting it in a linked box and having the butler in the base taking care of it, doesnt work at all. Pathfinding: I don't even want to talk about his pathfinding skills, they just suck. Even after remodeling our entire crafting area, he still finds places to get stuck. Also while farming he wants to access metal nodes which are on a plateau over him. But they are out of his reach and he just runs again the plateau wall below the node. Have you encountered similar problems and did you find a way or jobs where Sir-5rM8 is really usefull?

  2. They will keep ASA official servers up as long as the game is making money. The day that it stops being profitable to have official servers for ASA they will turn the servers off, just like they did for ASE. No matter what they say, no matter what anyone says, this is how it works. Game companies (almost) never support servers unless the servers are helping them make more money, that's just how the game business works. Until that day comes, and course none of us knows when that day will be, you should play the game because you enjoy playing the game. If you hope that the ASA servers will be up forever, they will not, you might as well quite playing now. If you enjoy the game then keep playing it for as long as it's fun, as long as you understand that the ASA official servers will eventually be shut down.

  3. No idea what kool-aid you drinking. But 1 cocktail does not only give 2% drunk. Feed your dino the cocktail and let your dino go ham on the tank you fed it to. The Cerato will slowly gain drunkenness. The goblin cocktail lasts a decent amount of time. If anything a lvl 150 will cost you maybe 3 cocktails? Its been a while since I've tamed one.

  4. Sadly, a pile of rocks can run circles around this robot. I gave up on it as anything but base decoration. Even tried using it as a simple pack mule where base building and it couldn't handle following even as well as your typical dino. It does work as deco reasonably well, but costs too much in resources for that purpose.

  5. In my case this happened because not all mods of an unofficial server were completely downloaded and installed (I had canceled the join because it was taking too long). Finally, it helped to re-enter the same server and let all mods finish loading and installing. Alternatively, it could also work to completely uninstall the game, manually delete data in the Steam folder and, if necessary, remove any mods in the workshop (or try this first).
