  1. Always been that way. Explosives do more damage to stone than wood. https://ark.wiki.gg/wiki/C4_Charge

  2. Ark is a social experiment to see just how much poop an addicted gamer will take before they truly give up. I cant fathom any other explanation as to why they treat their customer base so poorly, and continue to do so despite the constant moaning and complaints of their subjects.

  3. People still are meshing and all it does is make people who aren’t meshing at all lose their stuff and can’t get it back I’ve made like 5 reports because of this

  4. you know what wildcard reminds me of an addicted you do not hear anything from them until they need money. and even then it does not stop there you try to help the addicted you try to talk to them but they ignore you and they do the same stupid stuff, over and over again not learning anything pretending to change their lifestyle some day but when it happens it only lasts for 1 day haha this pattern man...

  7. Alpha Creatures no longer buff wild herbivores. Added a boss-style HP bar over all Alpha Creatures. Killing an Alpha Creature will now drop a quality saddle blueprint for the species if the species has a saddle (this means Alpha Leedsichthys, Wyvern, Deathworm, and Reaper don't drop a BP). Increased the stats of some Alphas to be more on-par with other Alpha Creatures: Alpha Leedsichthys: Increased base HP to 60000 and base damage to 250. Alpha Fire Wyvern: Increased base HP to 18750. Alpha Blood Crystal Wyvern: Increased base HP to 11500. Enraged Corrupted Trike: Increased base HP to 6250. Enraged Corrupted Rex: Increased base HP to 17500. Bone Trike: Increased base HP to 6250. Bone Giga: Increased base HP to 100000. Alpha Creatures of each type now take 50% more damage from their own species. Added some more Alpha Variants: Alpha Giganotosaurus (base HP 100000, base damage 1500; only spawns at level 1). Alpha Spino (base HP 13500, base damage 110/160). Alpha Aberrant Carno. Alpha Aberrant Raptor. Alpha Aberrant Spino. Alpha X-Rex. Alpha X-Raptor. Alpha X-Spino. Alpha X-Megalodon. Alpha X-Mosasaur. Alpha R-Carno. Alpha R-Giga. Alpha R-Reaper King.

  8. This is a GREAT idea. They refuse to take the artifacts out of the caves so giving us another way to get them would solve a lot of problems.

  9. I would love to play the game, but since scorched released single player xbox has been unplayable for me and it’s really frustrating because I seems like your not listening to the people who have had these issues for a while

  10. Thank you for this laugh ! It's wonderful to know that players are heard... but listening to feedback only when it's mostly positive is meaningless if you don't equally listen and show interest when it's mostly negative. We're not seeing you taking many suggestions into account then, are we ?

  11. TLC: Ankylosaurus! Changed some stats around: HP: Decreased to 500. Weight: Increased to 350. Damage: Decreased to 40 for the tail, and 25 for the bite. The bite attack is now the LMB, and the tail attacks are now the RMB. Ankylosaurus now takes much less damage from projectiles and melee attacks that hit its shell, and weaponless melee will also reflect some damage back to the attacker! However, attacks that hit its head will deal 3x damage! Aim for the head to KO them! If Ankylosaurus takes explosive damage, it will flip over, making it unable to move or deal reflection damage. You can't ride a flipped Ankylosaurus, you need to correct it first! After 30-45 seconds, the Ankylosaurus will correct itself. Tail attacks can now damage stone and inflict a debuff on targets with a drag weight below 550 called "Broken Bones", which slows targets by 85% and prevents them from running or jumping for 20 seconds. To prevent stunlocking, targets become immune to the debuff for 30 seconds after it ends; and the timer for the buff cannot be reset by further applications. Ankylosaurus now also has an 85% weight reduction on Metal Ingots, Scrap Metal, Scrap Ingots, and Green, Blue, and Red Gems, in addition to its 85% weight reduction for Metal Ore. Added a death animation to prevent silly ragdolls. TLC: Brontosaurus! Base HP increased from 2070 to 3000. Added some new attacks: LMB: One-footed stomp; deals 80 base damage and can damage stone structures. RMB: Tail whip; deals 60 base damage and harvests berries. C-key: Two-footed stomp; deals 180 base damage and deals increased damage toward structures and targets with a drag weight below 500. However, it has a cooldown and CANNOT be used with insufficient stamina! Can also damage stone structures. Brontosaurus now reduces the weight of many heavy resources (wood, stone, metal, crystal, black pearls, etc.) by 50%. Brontosaurus Platform Saddle now supports up to 75 structures. Brontosaurus now gets a rivalry buff when near a Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus that doubles its damage and resistance. New Model! TLC: Mosasaurus! Increased base HP per level from 12% to the normal 20%. When not equipped with the platform saddle, Mosasaurus can now angle in the water. Increased drag weight to 1000 so that Tusoteuthis can't grab them anymore. Mosasaurus is now partially immune to Cnidaria's stun debuff. Rather than becoming stunned completely, Mosasaurus will only become slowed and deal less damage for some seconds, like Electrophorus. Mosasaurus now prefers fish meat over normal meat. Mosasaurus now supports a "raft mode" while equipped with its platform saddle that prevents it from going up or down the water column, like a raft, to make platform Mosasaurus actually viable. Toggled with the spacebar. Mosasaurus will no longer be targeted by small/medium-sized water dinos unless provoked. New Model! Unused TEK Mosasaurus variant now spawns in the wild! TLC: Giganotosaurus! Increased wild HP gain per level from 0.05% to 0.575%, and all other stats to normal rates. Tamed Gigas now start out at 2300 base HP but gain all stats at normal rates. Wild and tamed Gigas now deal 120 base damage with the bite, but tamed Gigas now retain the bleed. Technically, wild Gigas deal 600 damage because they have an extra wild damage multiplier of 5.0. The roar is no longer just cosmetic! It now gives a Yutyrannus-style force-flee debuff on dinos with a drag weight below 700, and dismounts/stuns humans. Added an AoE stomp attack to the C-key. This deals 200 base damage and deals MASSIVE damage to any structure except for metal and TEK. However, it has a cooldown and can't be used with insufficient stamina. Overhauled taming method: Tranquilizers are no longer effective. To KO a Giga now, you need to pelt it in the head with cannonballs or catapults, like the Titanosaur. Gigas now prefer Extraordinary Kibble. Unused TEK Giganotosaurus variant now spawns in the wild! These have a 5% chance to spawn and at a 20% higher level than normal. Alpha Giganotosaurus mini-boss now spawns. These have 100k base HP and deal 1500 damage (compared to normal Giga's 80k base HP and 600 damage) and can damage metal and TEK structures. To compensate, Alpha Gigas only spawn at level 1. Decreased HP imprint bonus from 20% to 0.575%. TLC: Quetzal! Increased base HP to 1450. Increased base damage to 50. Quetzals now behave differently if not equipped with the platform saddle: They are faster. They can angle in flight. They can divebomb. They have different ground walking animations. The bite attack now uses animations similar to the Tapejara. Platform saddle Quetzals have their base weight doubled as long as they have the platform saddle equipped. When standing still in the air, Quetzals now slowly regenerate stamina. In the wild, Quetzals are now neutral. They will fight back when attacked but will flee if they are damaged enough or their torpor is high. Changed Quetzal team class to "Herbivores_Large", to prevent silliness with Compies and Dilos attacking the massive "bird"! New Model! Should fix an issue where, if harvesting the corpse, results in the "hair" disappearing first, then the rest of the body instantly disappears. TLC: Plesiosaur! Increased HP gain per level to normal. Decreased base damage to 45, however, it now has a new, faster attack animation, resulting in a higher DPS. Increased attack hitbox so that they can actually hit targets effectively. Added a head sweep attack to the RMB that deals 55 base damage and has a large range, good for hitting targets that are attacking your flanks. Added a "raft mode" that is toggled with the spacebar if the Plesiosaur has a platform saddle equipped. Can now angle up and down while swimming. Plesiosaur is now partially immune to Cnidaria's stun effect. Increased drag weight to 700 to make them immune to net projectiles. Plesiosaur will no longer be targeted by small/medium-sized water dinos unless provoked. New Model! TLC: Sabertooth! Separated the bite and claw attacks: LMB is now only the bite, now deals 35 base damage and inflicts Allosaurus bleed. RMB is now only the claw attack, now deals 25 base damage and gathers MASSIVE amounts of hide and pelt. Added a C-key attack. This is a lunge that can pin down small dinos (below 150 drag weight). Pinned dinos take 25 base damage every 0.33 seconds. Unlike the Thylacoleo's pin, this scales with melee. Sabertooth now has a 50% weight reduction for hide, chitin, and keratin, and a 75% weight reduction for pelt, hair, and wool. Other Dino Reworks: Carcharodontosaurus: Base HP per level increased to 0.6%; tamed Carchas now start out at 2100 base HP but gain ALL stats at normal rates. Base damage for the bite was decreased to 75, and 60 for the tail, but it no longer gets a melee nerf on-tame. Each stack of Bloodrage now increases damage by 2.0%, rather than 1.75%. Wild Carchas have an extra wild damage multiplier of 3.0, so they really deal 225 base damage. Carchas now have (rare) spawns on Scorched Earth, spawning in mountains and dunes. Decreased imprint HP bonus from 20% to 0.6%. Rock Elemental: Increased HP per level to 2.4% and gain all other stats (including tamed HP) at normal rates. As before, tamed Golems start out at 3000 base HP. Wild Golems deal 2x damage (through the extra wild damage multiplier) compared to tamed ones. They only get a 50% damage reduction from metal arrows. Ankylosaurus and Doedicurus attacks now bypass its damage reduction. Doedicurus: Decreased base HP to 400. Increased base damage for the tail attack to 40, however, it no longer harvests berries. Changed some keybinds: LMB is now the bite, 25 base damage. RMB is now the tail attack, 40 base damage. C-key is now the roll. The tail attacks now inflict Ankylosaurus's new Broken Bones debuff and can damage stone structures. Doedicurus no longer becomes "invisible" when balled. Tamed dinos will still attack them. Spino: Increased base HP to 900 to bring them on-par with other, similarly tiered, dinos. Bite can now be used while moving and can instantly harvest corpses. Removed oxygen stat. Added a swim-sprint. Megalodon: Increased base HP to 800. Increased main attack damage to 55 but it no longer inflicts the bleed. Added a grab-and-shake attack to the RMB that can grab dinos with a drag weight below 250. It CAN hit targets with a higher drag weight, but grabbed targets will be hit 3 times for 40 damage each hit. Unaffected targets will be hit once for 40 damage. Either way, they will be given the bleed; even wild Megalodons inflict the bleed now! Alpha Megalodons can't use the grab-and-shake (too OP), but the base damage for the bite on them deals 110 damage. Increased drag weight to 350. Dunkleosteus: Increased base HP to 1350. Increased base damage to 85. Unlike the other 2 metal/stone harvesters (Ankylosaurus and Doedicurus), Dunkleosteus, rather than inflicting Broken Bones, they give a massive bleeding effect on dinos (20% of max HP over 30 seconds). This does NOT affect other Dunkleosteus. Increased drag weight to 550. Carnotaurus: Increased base HP to 500 and damage to 40. Added a charge ability. It takes 20 seconds of uninterrupted sprinting to reach maximum charging speed. If the LMB is pressed while at maximum charging speed, Carnotaurus will use its super-headbutt ability that deals 160 base damage and inflicts a massive bleed. After the attack is used, the Carno will get a debuff called "Exhausted" that lasts 180 seconds and prevents stamina regeneration. USE THIS POWERFUL ATTACK WISELY! Added an armored saddle unlocked at level 70 for 40 engram points and requires the base Carno Saddle engram to learn. The saddle is crafted in the smithy with 65x cementing paste, 170x fiber, 240x hide, 350x metal ingot, and 85x obsidian. It provides 45.0 armor and immunity to stuns and bleeds but weighs twice as much and replaces the charge with the old sprint. Wyverns: Decreased base HP for Fire, Lightning, Poison, and Ice Wyverns to 1000. Decreased base HP for Blood Crystal, Ember Crystal, and Tropical Crystal Wyverns to 750. Decreased base HP for Voidwyrms to 1250. Fire, Lightning, Poison, and Ice Wyverns, as well as Voidwyrms, have had their base damage decreased to 62. Although I nerfed them a bunch, they now gain ALL stats at normal rates and no longer get HP/melee nerfs. Poison Wyvern gas cloud now scales with melee percent. Ice Wyvern breath attack now inflicts a percentage-based freeze. Every "hit" with the breath will increase the percentage by 3-5%, and at 100%, the target will be frozen completely solid. Added a TEK Bomb ability to Voidwyrms. It requires 5 Element per bomb to use this. TEK Bombs are dropped from below the Voidwyrm (from the poop socket), and when they hit the ground, a dino, or a structure, they explode, dealing 775 damage to anything caught in the explosion radius, but, if a target was directly hit, they will take 775 direct impact damage, for a total of 1550 damage! To compensate for this, the ability has a 30-second cooldown. Wyverns now have a TEK saddle available, unlocked from defeating the Manticore, Crystal Wyvern Queen, or Dinopithecus King on alpha, or Rockwell Prime or Fenrisulfr on beta or alpha. Unlike most TEK saddles, this does not shoot projectiles, but rather buffs, by giving Wyverns +15 HP and stamina per second, and increasing damage by 5%. To craft it, you need 200x black pearls, 325x crystal, 80x element, 2250x metal ingots, and 450x polymer in a TEK replicator. Changed some drag weights around: Fire, Lightning, Poison, and Ice Wyverns and Voidwyrms: 500 drag weight. Blood Crystal, Ember Crystal, and Tropical Crystal Wyvern: 375 drag weight. Griffin: Decreased base HP to 750. However, it now gains all stats at normal rates and no longer has the massive HP and damage nerf on-tame. Increased base weight to 325. The claw attack now deals 35 base damage, but the diving swipe only deals 105 base damage now. Griffins can now breed (lays eggs). Their eggs are used to make Extraordinary Kibble. Increased drag weight to 250. Griffins are now properly on the "Carnivores_Medium" team class, so that they can properly damage herbivores in the wild. They can now pick up more dinos (in between the Pteranodon's threshold and the Argentavis's threshold). Basilisk: Fixed damage overlay (for some reason it doesn't currently appear even though they used to have one). Base HP decreased to 1400. However, its HP is no longer halved on tame. Basilisks can now damage wooden structures. Alpha Basilisks now properly deal torpor. If a wild Basilisk drops below 25% HP, you have 30 seconds to kill them before they burrow underground and flee, never to be seen again. Basilisks can now be tamed with Crystal Wyvern eggs, so that they can be tamed on Crystal Isles. Basilisks can now breed. They are now on the team class "Carnivores_Large", so Raptors won't attack them, and they will, in fact, aggro Raptors in the wild! Poison gas cloud now scales with melee. Increased drag weight to 550. Titanoboa: Fixed "Troodonism" bug with their base HP being either 170 or 300. It is now always 300. Added a poison spit attack that blinds targets and rapidly increases their torpor over time. Titanoboa now has genders and can breed. Female Titanoboa do not have frills. Rock Drake: Decreased base HP to 1350, however, it no longer gets an on-tame nerf. Increased base damage to 62, however, Rock Drakes can no longer attack while moving. Rock Drakes now ignore Nameless and Reaper armor. If near a Reaper, Rock Drakes get a rivalry buff. Karkinos: Increased base HP to 1450. Can now breed (eggs must be laid underwater, babies can't leave until they are fully grown). Karkinos now takes 25% reduced damage from all sources, except for Gigas. Direwolf: Decreased base HP to 275. Decreased base damage to 28. Added a saddle. This is crafted in the smithy for 125x fiber, 285x hide, 20x metal ingots, and 110 wood. It is learned at level 43 for 18 engram points. Titanosaur: Permanent Tame! Titanosaurs can now breed. Changed some stat values around: HP: 230000 (+115 per wild stat point, +0.035% per tamed level, loses 205000 HP on tame) Stamina: 2000 (+40 per wild stat point, +2% per tamed level) Oxygen: 600 (+1.5 per wild stat point, +2.5% per tamed level) Food: 20000 (+50 per wild stat point, +2.5% per tamed level) Weight: 50000 (+200 per wild stat point, +0.8% per tamed level) Melee Damage: 100% (+2% per wild stat point, +0.425% per tamed level, loses 85% melee damage on tame) On top of that, Titanosaurs now only gain 0.05% of HP with imprinting, to prevent them from having 100k+ HP with mutations, imprinting, and leveling. Titanosaurs are no longer simply tamed by putting the saddle on them. To tame them now, you need Extraordinary Kibble, and LOTS of it for a high level. WAY more than a Bronto or Mosasaur. Titanosaurs can now use a one-footed stomp that deals 650 damage but has a faster attack speed and CAN be used while out of stamina. This costs far less stamina than the two-footed stomp, as well! The two footed stomp now deals 2000 damage, same stamina cost and can't be used while out of stamina, but this now deals VASTLY increased damage to structures, 10x to everything that isn't TEK and 3.75x to TEK structures. However, it has a 30-second cooldown! When KO'd, Titanosaurs now lose torpor at an absolutely insane rate, requiring literal thousands of narcotics to keep a high-level down... Added a death animation. Liopleurodon: Decreased base HP to 1800. Decreased base stamina to 275. Increased base damage to 75. Increased base torpor to 4000. Permanent Tame! If a Liopleurodon starts fleeing because of torpor, you have 30 seconds to KO it before it teleports away, never to be seen again. If a Liopleurodon wakes up in the wild after a failed taming attempt, it will teleport away, never to be seen again... Liopleurodon can now level up and can spawn above level 1 in the wild! You now need a saddle to ride the Liopleurodon. This is learned at level 96, requires 75 engram points to learn, and is crafted in the smithy with 120x Cementing Paste, 75x Chitin/Keratin, 320x Fiber, 500x Hide, 135x Metal Ingot, and 125x Silica Pearls. Liopleurodon's luck aura is now toggleable with the C-key. This costs about 15 stamina per second to maintain, and if it runs out, it will turn off. You can change between Luck, Heal, and Bolster with the X-key. The heal aura costs 40 stamina per second and heals nearby dinos by 30 HP per 0.25 seconds. The bolster aura increased the damage output of nearby dinos by 25% and increases their resistance by 20%. It costs 55 stamina per second. Rhyniognatha: Increased base HP back to 1400. Increased base weight back to 1200. Decreased HP per level to 12%. Resin now weighs nothing in Rhyniognatha's inventory. Flying now consumes a massive amount of stamina per second, as well as a silent 0.2% of stamina every 10 seconds, to make flying harder. Unlike most creatures, which start landing when out of stamina, Rhynio will start falling if it runs out of stamina, causing fall damage when it hits the ground! Changed Resin Armor defense values back to how they were before the 12/08/2023 update. Biggest nerf of all: Rhynio now takes 4x damage from all fire-based attacks, such as Torch, Flame Arrow, Flamethrower, and Fire Wyvern, and this IGNORES the Resin Armor and saddle armor values! Rhynio can now turn in place while walking and water skating. You can now only have 1 tamed Rhynio per tribe. Added a failsafe for if the host dino is killed before the Rhynio is born: The Rhynio will be born immediately but will be at a lower age and level than expected. This is proportional to the gestation percentage of the host dino at the time it was killed, e.g. if the host dino was killed at 50% gestation, the Rhynio will pop out at 50% of the potential level and be at age 15%. If the host dino is cryopodded, the Rhynio will pop out as a corpse. Shadowmane: Reduced base HP to 600 and HP gain per level to 15%. Shadowmanes now lose 480 HP on tame. Removed "Natural Armor" mechanic. Increased cooldown for warp-strike to 60 seconds, and targets that have been stunned by this attack are now immune to it for a full hour. Decreased base damage to 28. Warp-strike can now only chain-hit up to 5 targets. All of Shadowmane's special abilities are disabled if it drops below 30% of its maximum HP. Shadowmanes now take 3x damage from all bosses, while the Shadowmanes themselves only deal 10% damage to them. Decreased drag weight to 249 to make them instantly fully scared by Yutyrannus. On top of that, if scared by a Yutyrannus, Shadowmanes now start permanently fleeing, unless grabbed by another dino and cryopodded, or the Yutyrannus goes into stasis. If neither of these conditions are met for too long, the Shadowmane will untame and go wild. Added a death animation. Mammoth: Changed team class to "Herbivores_Large". This should make them only targeted by large carnivores in the wild, rather than everything and anything. Increased base HP to 1000. Changed icon for "Intimidated" debuff to the one that Yutyrannus's fear debuff uses. The debuff now decreases damage from melee attacks by 30% and increases incoming damage by 50%. Ranged attacks are no longer affected (being scared doesn't affect the speed that the bullet flies at!). (More to come...)

  12. Im not sure where you come from with this..Have you played ASE before?? Everything in ASA has been diluted down,ASA is like the "easy" mode version, everything was nerfed, and total immerssion was erased(for example water caves on the island, the center looks,SE Wyvrens and the weather) Not to say payed dinos DLC and bobs tale made this tward a console mobile more game now. I totally expect AB to be treated the same way unfortunally. ASA has turned out as a diluted pale, sometimes even uglier version of ASE unfortunally. 😧😔
