"As we navigate the vast and untamed wilderness of ARK, let’s also take a moment to recognize the remarkable courage and contributions of women survivors who enrich our world, both within the game and beyond. In the spirit of International Women's Day, we celebrate unity and the strength that comes from diversity and mutual support across all genders in our community." So where was this moment? Here you take the time to mention International Women's Day and say that we should take a moment to recognize the remarkable women of Ark, yet you instantly go right into mod spotlights directly after; almost as if these sentences didn't exist. Where are the spotlights highlighting these remarkable and courageous contributions? Where are the videos, artwork, or even mod additions made by such individuals that you could have highlighted directly after this opening statement? Where is the mentioning and highlighting of the great achievements that women on your staff have accomplished? Maybe some of the mods, videos, and artwork you showed after have been made by women; but I wouldn't know it because you made no special mention of this and only have author names listed. You could have done something great with this. After reading this opening statement, I was ready to see what you had gathered up to celebrate such a moment. Instead it's all just an empty copy/paste. Why did you even bother to copy/paste mention International Women's Day if you weren't going to do anything to celebrate it?5 points

Yea nobody cares anymore5 points

No wonder they put mods in the game, they'd have literally nothing to show otherwise. Good job showing off everyone else's work while you guys stack delays to the ceiling, riding on 20 inch delays.4 points

Wish it was International Fix your Damn Game day!4 points

You said that the time of no communication would end with the launch of ASA... but here we are again. Please just be a bit more open, I hate how I'm just caring less and less about a game that used to mean everything to me.3 points

Listen. I'm all for mod spotlights. I think they're great. But the community can't subsist on crunches that give literally ZERO information as to the progress of ARK as a whole - the multitude of other comments stating this fact in a much more aggressive tone have said what has already been said. Although, admittedly, I do wish we also could've gotten something a little bit more meaningful for International Women's Day other than a generic statement that is inevitably bound to trigger gamergate bros. What the community wants is COMMUNICATION AND TRANSPARENCY!!! Like, literally, you could be posting about the PROBLEMS you're having with Scorched Earth/The Center and I'm pretty sure it'd make a good portion of the community happy about it because we aren't being left completely in the dark about the development of the game, outside of you announcing release dates (and then proceeding to miss those release dates. Repeatedly.) And on an unrelated note... why is there transformation/inflatable/sapience? FETISH ART in the community crunch today??? I don't know how y'all pick out the art for the community crunches but it feels suuuper weird. Especially considering that the art piece wasn't even made by the person who posted it...3 points

I don't wanna sound negative but y'all ain't doing yourselves any favors with only doing community crunches that only consists of Mod Showcases, Fan-Art, and Videos of the Week. At this point people want SOMETHING to get excited about, mods can only carry the game so far. Like why not give us sneak peak screenshots of Scorched Earth, or show us pictures of how some assets differ from ASE. I'd rather have a picture of how the ASA Joshua Tree will look like than these "Nothing Burgers".3 points
-
I still think there needs to be more communication. Give us regular updates and keep us in the loop to help build excitement. Show us what you're working on. Sneak peaks are great even if they end up changing a bit in the final product. Yes, players will criticize any updates you do give but that's definitely the lesser of two evils compared to radio silence and crunches devoid of substance. Come on WC, you can be better. Show us that you want to be 🍻3 points

Nobody cares about mods We want something official3 points
-
I bet they're doing this so people get frustrated and create all the maps for them and release them as paid mods. 😂2 points
-
No duh. But there are people that work for this company who produce the game and apply the fixes. The problem is that they put half ass effort into an unfinished game that they released. Not to mention the NUMEROUS promises that were 87% all broken. Let's get back to the days where developers tested and released a game that was actually finished. But it's an obvious money grab when you copy paste code into a new engine.2 points

Would love to see some screenshots of the upcoming new maps that you and your partners are working on. I don't understand why all the secrecy, people like Nekatus post updates all the time on his work and everyone loves that. He is practically a one-man-band that finds the time to work and post info so surely your huge team could do better.2 points
-
It's bad when part time mod developers are doing a better job at creating content than a career based entire team (Studio Wildcard). Showcasing and charging full speed ahead on the "mod train" isn't this incredible idea, it just makes WC look lazy and inconsistent wit their capabilities. I think I speak for at least half the community when I say we genuinely don't care about mods, other than quality of life mods that is. We just want communication from the devs and official content. -I'm not hating on you modders, you're doing a great job! and you should keep it up2 points
-
What even was the pointy of this CC? Literally NO information about what y'all are doing. IDK, maybe go take a queue from Star Citizen with their Inside Star Citizen shows. Not asking for a damned video broadcast like they do, but actually breaking down what it is you all are doing, being transparent. Maybe prove that we're not the victims of a grift? With all the missed deadlines not only by yourselves, but by your so-called "partners" it should be pretty obvious that all we really want to see in these is weekly updates letting us know when we might, ya know, maybe SEE THE STUFF WE ALREADY PAID FOR!2 points
-
A whole lot of nothing, no news of new content, no even sneak peaks, I want this game to suceed, but crunch after crunch of just nothing really makes me uninterested in coming back until there are more maps and the game is more stable, I get it takes time but you can atleast show off screenshots or something, it's not like we've seen these maps before in ASE I don't know why you keep everything so close to the chest, like what happened to you guys being open with the community after ASA Launch? I haven't seen very much if any of that at all2 points

@Joebl0w13 This topic needs a namechange: "F(an) Art Gallery" Crunches in the past used to have content wich actually meant something. Now its nothing more then a gallery.1 point

Wildcard: Guys its our 400th community crunch!! What news that we have kept in our a.. I mean back pocket should we release? That one hard worker: How about news on the center, address the problem with windows, and apologize for all the bugs that we are ignoring? Wc: No!! Next? Random worker: How about giving them some dino pictures while keeping the community in the dark? Wc: YES!! Team, I would like to introduce you to your new Manager!1 point

They are woke, they felt compelled to try and sneak that in 😂😂1 point

Fix your game it's broke quit miss leading your fans like how do you remastered a game and make it worse the the first one we deserve answers on what is going on!1 point

Come on man give us some news. If you’re behind (which we know you are) just say so. Like just give us some actual news of stuff going on at Wildcard. Like mods are cool and all and the fact that y’all made the mods cross-platform is awesome but mods should not be the main highlight. Basically every week all we hear is that the community is doing a better job than y’all and y’all don’t seem to care. Remember that time y’all said that every week y’all would give updates on new content for Ark: SA and Ark 2 and then you did like 4 weeks of only very limited Ark: SA news.1 point

Was Interessiert mich die blöden Mods?

All genders? Don't you mean both genders you say all like there's more than two1 point

Im afraid of future of this game. Im afraid we will get 1-2 more unofficial maps later this year like Center and Ragnarok because creators and modders were paid less than real developers to work over it and then studio WIldcard will fail from financial problems and close the game without releasing Scorched Earth Aberation etc. Looking at numbers of people playing and getting bored so quick after achieving everything in 10 year old map that wasnt changed even by a little ( The island) makes me think there will be no more big income for Wildcard and they cant sponsor the game like its a charity.1 point

By you have out done your self this time around. Think you guys need to find a new career1 point

Exactly this. I was so excited to see this as the opening statement and was looking for the celebration. Just an empty gesture1 point

Still waiting for this to be playable on Xbox. Really pathetic that four months later, I still am unable to save a game on Series X because you can't fix it1 point
-
As everyone else has said, taking some time to engage more with the community and show off more sneak peaks and even just let us know things are on track more, would certainly make everyone happy and hyped with a lot of favor from the community.1 point
-
Pls stop those bs crunches and only make them if you have information about this reptaring game you trying so hard to kill that no one wants to play if nothing comes soon1 point
-
Would love to see some more informations in the Community Crunches.... like the A&Qs back in the days Like: Did we get new TLCs in the future? Did the Scorched Earth map specific dinos any new abilities? perhaps little sneak peaks from center and scorched or stuff you did this in the first months of ASE.. little dossier sneak peaks and stuff... this was great. of course its time taking to rebuild 2 whole maps from ground up and making 3 new creatures (or even more).. for me its okay that around 40 people cant do all that stuff beside bug fixing the main game. But those little chunks of meat gives a warmer feeling for us what we can expect in the future and die crunch doesnt feel this empty1 point

Thanks for fixing the bug where dinos fell through teleporters. Do we have an ETA on the fix for uploaded eggs instantly spoiling? And is it safe to transfer yet without risking character loss or getting kicked from our tribe?1 point

Get a grip. The majority of ark players do not want propaganda in their games. Get on the various crappy social media platforms if you need that crap. If you want this game on the boycott list that's how it happens.0 points

if you were getting the maps you wanted they wouldnt focus on bugs and youd tell them to stop making maps and fix the game0 points

Are you trolling? They are constantly fixing bugs. Maybe not in the order or speed that you would want but they are honestly making their product better all the time.0 points
