So the way I'm reading this console players that don't have a computer are getting screwed.... unless they pay monthly fee to get their server downloaded through nitrado... i can't afford a computer so how do I afford a monthly fee crazy all my years of work just deleted.. thanks ark

Think I have a solution, not elegant but I noticed that a certain byte appars before the hibernation class count so rather than try and work out what the data is between the "hibernation offset" and the hibernation entries I just skip it all until I reach the byte I'm expecting.. then start reading in hibernation data. Seems to work for standard V9, V11 and V11 with -UseStore enabled. Almost end of my lunch break so will have to put it to the test and put a build and release together after work this evening.

just for example: Foreyia has a "beaked" mouth that she could use to keep herself attached; Echinochimera has a shape of the fins that gives me the idea of being able to cling (perhaps using the rear tips). I have 12 bases on 12 servers, 22,800 hours of play, over 12 characters (just like you, for security reasons, each of them is added to every base on every server.) And I will not invest in ASA or ARK2 anymore, not after WC/SG did to console players "u need pay 20€ for this ark save"

Hmm. I as well as quite a few friends have already purchased this game about four or five times each because we thought that we would need the extra accounts and characters should something happen to our mains (fortunately none of us have ever lost a character in all of our years of play). Buying asa & hardware isn't the complete issue here, the complete loss of all of those years spent progressing characters, taming, breeding, & raising is. Darn. Just don't think that I'd want to let wc/sg put myself and friends all through this again. If they'd have just charged us a fee to import our tames and characters into the newer version of the same game, maybe the charge/fee could be justified. We all have pcs, but prefer to play via console. Darn.

All WC/SG's actions, at least since the announcement of the ASA, make no sense.

Pentecopterus This creature could be a larger ridable sea scorpion (eurypterid). It could maybe hold onto other creatures with pincers or burrow into the sea floor. The Eurypterid already in ARK is a smaller species called Megalograptus. I know it says Jaekelopterus in the dossier, but the size and spiny pincers are way more like Megalograptus.

I wouldn't just give up that easily I would go and as I said start just doing what I'm doing I'm willing to score it on their Twitter talking about everything the only thing I think I haven't been to is Facebook I'm going to put it out there everywhere or however off this is. This game has been helping me through my horrible experience and just for them to pull the plug like that is insane Rockstar games has had their game for 10 years too and they're not doing this.

Well the supposed downloads happened I didn't see anything pop up for me I didn't see anything anywhere for a save so exactly what are we supposed to do? Because I saw absolutely nothing warranting anything on console. They need to explain themselves better. This is a freaking nightmare. 😩

that was a mistake, nitrado and wildcard are partners so wildcard gets royalties for every server purchased to resume the official saves. I don't think we as customers should allow wildcard to make profit from official server shutdown.

I downloaded several backup saves from several maps, none of them would load in ARK single player mode, it just crashes to desktop DILO mongs, are the save modified to be nitrado only? we can not resume our game if we don't pay? EDIT : it is CONFIRMED, they changed the save format, the save won't load in SP mode, now that's a really scummy move, if we want to continue we have to rent nitrado servers and of course wildcard will get their royalties over every purchase. AT THIS MOMENT WE HAVE TO PAY TO KEEP OUR PROGRESS, NICE ONE WILDCARD

On island server and a few others you cannot seem to set levels from 5-150 like official servers. This has been a known issue for ages but never adressed. Oddly most later maps, and seem to be in line with official rates. I always get the same answers as above but they never actually fix the issue. Another issue never addressed is the fact that breeding time and imprints have never been able to be scaled easily in SP so that they alighn with each other.

Euparkeria This creature would be a carnivorous shoulder pet. A possible idea is to give it a whistle feature that allows it to make special sounds that order tames as well as giving them a buff for whatever order they follow (melee buff against a specific creature they are told to attack, etc.).

Why do you feel the need to give such a condesending answer? With all due respect but I think it is not too much to ask to be clear on some important details beforehand such as; the time, timerange when it will be available.. or at least give us a timezone so we get a rough estimated idea when they will attempt to make the server downloads available on which communication channel it will be available for download (webpage, discord, through steam app, FTP server etc.) how we actually wil know when it's available (or do you expect everyone to mass refresh a webpage continuesly for the entire day?)

Nope you're hearing it right that's exactly what's going to be happening for console players. We don't have the choice like PC players to have our own dedicated file or to go to unofficial servers. Seems like to me they're trying to gather money anyway they can because they will get a percentage of that back from the triangle. And of course not try to is horrible horrible server service. On unofficial it was a nightmare that's why I went to official service where I've been for quite a while. But it doesn't seem like they really care about what they're doing just how they can get any money as fast as possible. Where is Vin Diesel on all of this doesn't he see what's going on. Maybe not.

did anyone notice official saves performing an unzipped backup every 2 hours?

Anyone else on Xbox having trouble getting their tribe mates to join on their nitrado server, it keeps wanting them to start a new character. I can see them on the game sleeping but it won't load them in?
