As an ARK survivor, it's likely you've been in a bind and inevitably found yourself looking for information on one of ARK’s various game systems. Since 2016, the ARK wiki has served as an invaluable resource for millions of players making their first steps onto The Island. Cataloging and detailing ARK’s content, from the base experience through the expansions, is no easy task. Internally, we’ve even used it as a resource. The ARK wiki has had a happy home on Fandom and we’re grateful to have been partners as they supported the growth of the ARK wiki. We’re pleased to announce that we have a new home and partner, wiki.gg, for the Official ARK Wiki! The ARK wiki is undergoing an evolution! From this point forward, you can find the Official ARK Wiki at ark.wiki.gg! Our intent in moving the ARK wiki is to provide a more stable and streamlined experience for the ARK community to build its future wiki roots on. The team at Wiki.gg are not new to starting community wikis and have a long history of successful community-led projects in their portfolio. Our shared vision for the ARK wiki is one that prioritizes gamers and the browsing experience over profits. The Fandom ARK Wiki and the history of the contributors aren't going to disappear! The wiki team at Fandom has expressed interest in keeping the ARK wiki operational and functional as a second unofficial ARK wiki. The Browsing Experience: Nobody likes slow-loading web pages! The ark.wiki.gg layout allows for a more streamlined and less obtrusive browsing experience. Creative Control: In the past, there has been no creative control over things that affect the overall presentation and user experience (ads, banners, UI, etc.). Marketing (Ads): Ads displayed on the ARK wiki are from internal partners from the Wiki.gg network. The Wiki History: All the current content of the ARK wiki has been migrated to its new home. Community Control: The ARK wiki community will still dictate how the content is managed, created, and edited. The Rules: All content moderation rules remain the same and prior ARK wiki admins have transitioned to the new official wiki. Become an Editor: Help improve the wiki! Came for news on Summer Bash, instead got political garbage. To comment on either side of one of the most controversial topics in the country is pretty ridiculous for a video game’s community website to do. It provokes division and heated debate. Hence the vitriol in the comments. Please don’t force feed me politics in a video game forum. Many people play video games to escape from that kind of crap, myself included. I don’t care which side of the debate you’re on. My opinion is that it simply does not belong here. Politics has seemingly infiltrated every aspect of our lives. People obviously disagree on this topic. Why force that divide on this community?

It's really such a shame. WC has been building their brand and reputation with the creativity and skills of everyone on the team working at the company for the past 7 years. As well as inspiring others in the community to contribute. I have been one of them. A diehard supporter since the beginning. In all those 7 years, Ark / WC has been a good place. A neutral place and there was harmony, never having to get politics involved. Not once. With the beginning of June this year, it's becoming more and more clear that there is either new management at WC, or the old bosses just don't care about community anymore since they've milked profits from Ark 1 as much as possible. So now they've decided to throw their reputation in the trash by becoming political and voicing opinions when they shouldn't have one. Individually, that's fine. People are allowed to have opinions. But publicly, as a company, no. If someone new is in charge and making their voice the companies, then I hope they get removed, before it's too late. I know I've lost a ton of respect for WC recently which is a real shame considering I believed a job there was a true dream job, just a short time ago. All this political talk, and not even a single bit of news regarding the summer bash event. It's really a shame what things are coming to.

there are several lgbtq characters in ark lore, they've been "putting their views" in their work since the very beginning. they own the game, they can do what they want on their weekly forum posts.

second post i will not say what my view on this matter of abortion or gay rights nor saying pro or no but i feel that as a company that it is not your right to put your views in a post and should just stick to the game news and related. this is also bothering me that u hve continued to done this as their are some who may find this offensive or they are to little to hear about this yet so if u could please dont put ur views into this. i love ur game though. ty

That is a hard choice to make. The best way to prevent this is easy. Dont have pre marital sex. If its their choice its fine whatever your business is is not my issue. It was not their choice though. Most of these women were being persuaded into it and if that didnt work they were being offered money. There were hundreds of thousands of incidents where they were on their knees in the hall way after it was done screaming for forgiveness. Stop acting like rabbits and we will have nothing to worry about. The love a parent has for a child is unimaginable unless you have a kid. It is the greatest thing any living species can accomplish, It is a miracle. People take for granted how special a woman is. I have been playing ARK for a long time. Wildcard, your servers are unstable enough. Maybe you should fix that and stay out of politics before it ruins you. Nobody cares what you support. We just want to play a game and have fun. This is where I go to escape the daily bullpoop. Also I have not seen you speak out against what is happening to the slaves in China but you speak out against trying to save lives???? Kinda got your priorities backwards. Ya think???
